About this mod

a small collection of new and remastered nif-bashed outfits.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
features:

* three previously released outfits remastered to fix clipping and weighting issues where present
* four new outfits and an established framework for more to be quickly and easily added in future updates
* leveled list and world integration can be toggled individually for each outfit through the .ini
* full b42 descriptions (pip-info) support
* new custom ground models and high-res pipboy icons

the outfits:

* family doctor outfit - has been genericized and is no longer unique to (or worn by) doc mitchell. can be found wherever prewar suburban outfits are found. provides +5 medicine and +1 charisma.

* mechanic outfit - a cross between cindy aurum and parvarti holcomb's outfits. can be found in the novac garage and worn by kate in michael angelo's garage. provides +10 repair and +5 melee. i'm still not (and will never be) totally happy with the male version but whatevz.

* waterfront jacket - initially just a recreation of abby anderson's iconic muscle shirt but there was some clipping during certain animations around the shoulder that i couldn't fix. i threw the leather jacket on top for more of a leon kennedy-esque getup. generic attire for mercenary and bodyguard types. provides +5 melee, +5 guns, and +1 strength.

* private school outfit - essentially unchanged from the standalone mod, save for a few minor leveled list tweaks and the renaming from uniform to outfit. can be found wherever prewar suburban outfits are found. provides +1 intelligence.

* merc freebooter outfit - a recreation of clementine's outfit in season 3 of telltale's the walking dead. can be found (for the most part) wherever other merc outfits are found. provides +1 agility and +5 survival.

* trapper outfit - a recreation of nick's outfit in season 2 of telltale's the walking dead. can be found on prospectors and civilians (the random unnamed people in north vegas, for example). provides +10% damage against animals (mostly meaning dogs).

* recluse vest - a recreation of james's outfit in season 4 of telltale's the walking dead. can be found on wastelanders and mercenaries. provides +1 endurance and +10 carry weight.

* tourist outfit (new in v2.30!) - inspired by n00b-vegas's OC tibbs. can be found on settlers and wastelanders, mostly in and around freeside. provides +5% XP and +1 luck.

* raider pugilist armor (new in v2.30!) - inspired by plasma-packin-mama's OC cyanide. can be found on raiders. provides +5 unarmed and +10 action points.

the headwear:

* fiend ranger mask - the fallout 2 tribal power helmet concept in the context of new vegas. can rarely be found on fiends. provides +1 perception. it'll give your courier "hat hair" so your hair doesn't clip through the straps, but it does look a little odd having hat hair when there's not actually that much covering your head. might change this in a future update.

* fiend ranger headdress - a unique version of the fiend ranger mask. worn by violet. provides +1 perception and +5 guns.

notes & warning(s):

probably don't try to use this mod on a save where you're using any of the standalone versions. they're not compatible. none of the editor IDs match. this is a new thing.

this mod's armour values and effects are balanced around jsawyer ultimate's.

there's a jacketless version of the waterfront jacket (plus a custom pipboy icon) included in the files. i didn't really think it'd work as a standalone outfit alongside the jacketed version but i still really liked it and i didn't know what to do with it. so it's in there.

image submissions are open so if you wanna upload any screenshots i'd really appreciate it.

future:

probably just more outfits. they'll be slow to come but the good thing about having one .esp for all of them is that actually getting them in game after finishing the model should be relatively quick, since i won't have to redo all the scripts and whatnot.

i wanna do a vendor plugin at some point. i want a decent amount of outfits before i start making someone to sell them though, so it won't be for a while.

overhauling the trapper outfit. it doesn't really have a niche at the moment and it's just kind of awkwardly shoved into generic npc town clothes and prospector leveled lists.

redoing the pipboy icon for the recluse vest. it kinda sucks right now.

credits:

user826 & sweet6shooter: i heavily referenced sweet6shooter's nif-bashed armor patch for help with balancing and scripting.
TKVNC: i used their (now deleted) fallout 4 styled brotherhood resource for the texture on the waterfront jacket.
itsmejesushchrist: i used their icon template files and sources to make my custom pipboy icons.
izumiko: i used their T6M gambler female suit for the private school outfit.
antistar: the trapper outfit and recluse vest are based on modified meshes and textures from their dragonskin tactical outfit

changelog:

v1.00 - initial release.

v2.00 - added the merc freebooter and trapper outfits and removed the ability to repair the mechanic outfit; it can now only be repaired by merchants. also increased several outfits' weight values.

v2.10 - added the recluse vest and tweaked the waterfront jacket's stats.

v2.20 - added the fiend ranger mask and fiend ranger headdress, gave the recluse vest gloves like it was always meant to have, and revamped the trapper outfit's bonus (+5 sneak and guns -> +10% damage against animals).

v2.30 - added the tourist outfit and raider pugilist armor.

v2.31 - hopefully fixed issues with extracting the archive.

v2.32 - slight adjustments to the female tourist outfit mesh (staunchly refusing to accept that these shapes don't work in game).

v2.33 - fixed issue with the tourist outfit spawning in place of the raider pugilist outfit. ignore references to the legion salaratus outfit in the .ini, it's not finished, not implemented, and its assets aren't included.

v2.34 - fixed the male waterfront jacket's arms being invisible in first person.
