Raider Pugilist Outfit is my favorite. Inspires me to want to change Leather Rebel (I use TTW) to it but only problem for me is the pants look weird. What were you trying to to do with the two different colors for the pants?
Personally I would like to see the Grifter Outfit tank top under the jacket and the pants and boots from the Riot Gear/NCR Ranger Armor. Look like a true leather clad badass out of a rock band heh.
Hey, just wanna say I've been looking for new clothing/armor mods for weeks now to get a look I like for my Courier and the Waterfront Jacket fits the bill perfectly for me. See picture below.
Only issue is, in first person, the right hand floats - it looks like there's missing textures or something with the first person mode. I'm not a modder myself, though my game is heavily modded. I'm not aware of there being any discrepancy in how the game handles textures between third and first person models, but if I could get some assistance that would be much appreciated.
if You're interested in what the actual issue was: in .nif (bethesda mesh) files a mesh can be split up into a bunch of differnet pieces (referred to as "blocks") and the game can selectively load those pieces depending on what should be visible at any given time. most outfit meshes with bulky sleeves have a pipboyoff and a pipboyon block, one with regular looking sleeves and one with the left forearm smooshed and squished to be small enough to fit under a pipboy, and the game loads one or the other depending on if the NPC wearing the outfit is wearing a pipboy. the arms sort of work the same way! the game knows it doesn't need to load the full outfit in first person since you can't see your body, but it is looking for an "arms" block since you can see your forearms. in my original mesh the arms were just part of the main jacket body so the game couldn't find what it was looking for. you can see the difference in this comparison; old version on the left, fixed on the right.
Hey!! That fix totally worked. I also appreciate you taking the time to explain what was wrong, though I had to reread it a few times to fully grasp it. It's interesting that being tied to the full body mesh disables the animations from working in first person view - I guess that just makes me wonder about that one mod where you can see your whole body if you look down (which I haven't used). I wonder if the fix would've been necessary in the case of that mod?
Either way, thank you! This was my first post on Nexus despite having modded a ton in the past several years. I've never had an issue I felt strongly enough to ask help for (that I couldn't reasonably figure out myself), and I really like your armors. Super appreciate you boss.
This probably sounds strange, but I really appreciate how this, and your gender neutral merc grunt outfit mod, allow the men of the Mojave to show some skin. Some of the vanilla outfits are so conservative that they really don't make sense; the merc adventurer and merc charmer outfits, for example, give the men so much clothing that it just looks ridiculous for a desert setting. It's nice to see male npcs running around in tank tops and crop tops and open jackets with nothing underneath. It feels more like the characters are living in a world and dressing themselves, rather than being dressed by game designers who have to cater to modern sensibilities about what's appropriate to wear
also, just wanted to say thanks to mod author for their NVR2R NPC overhaul, it's a must-have and I love all the designs. I saw in that mod's description you weren't super happy with the adjustments for Ghost and was wondering if you'd ever revisit it/the mod? I could tell the community's feedback was pretty frustrating BS, so my sympathies if you'd rather not even think about it. Regardless, thanks for the mods, they really make NV a cooler game to play and more NB friendly. <3
love U <3 Ummm Tbh i don't .See it happening anytime soon.....trying To tweak faces W/ the geck sliders gives me like Quite a headache </3 Im glad U like it though!!
i Thinkkk its supposed to Only be repairable by vendors......But like literally Idk i haven;t Looked at it in so long </3 in the interest Of like total honesty i literally didn't test it Whatsoever like i Kinda just figured that repairing would just work.....Rip me Fr
It's not a huge issue if the Jury Rigging perk doesn't work either cuz I can just spawn it again with console commands. Also thank you so much for making these btw, the mechanic outfit is perfect for my 1 intelligence himbo repair guy.
Hey, I have a couple of the outfits (freebooter, trapper, tourist) zeroed out in the INI file but I still see the tourist outfit spawning regularly on raiders. I'm also using Mojave Raiders so there might be some interactions with the leveled list there; but is there a way to forcibly disable these outfits safely? Would marking them as initially disabled in xEdit do it right, or would the game spawn naked NPCs when it tries rolling for the now-disabled outfits? Thanks for the help, I like these outfits and the ranger helmets a lot.
yeah it's. Probably an issue w Mojave raiders?i think. if you open the .esp in the creation kit you can delete the part of the script that U don't want and it should Be fine. here's A visual (open in a new Tab + Zoom in to see :)):
then Just save the script + save the .esp. U should be fine!
EDIT:Turns Out im' Fucking stupid and the issue is Literally In rthe image. New file Should fix :3
I think the leveled lists for the Raider Pugilist armor are erroneously spawning raiders with the Tourist outfit. Just looking at the injection script, everything under the Pugilist block seems to be adding the Tourist outfit instead. It's pretty funny to see raiders wearing tourist clothes but I assume it's not the intended behavior :p
ohmy f***ing god. what the fuck. i literally didn't even know why raiders were spawning with tourist outfits (i thought Maybe Some raiders were just like using Non-raider leveled lists??) turns out i;m just. f***ing illiterate. Thank U Vvdrey this isso embarrassing oh my god >_<
