This mod introduces a new anatomy for Argonians, clearly distinguishing them from the Khajiit. The changes in proportions are achieved by implementing a custom skeleton (animation file), which replaces the skeleton for both NPCs and the player. The animation file can be easily toggled on or off via MCM. This mod is compatible with any other Argonian mods. [Click here to see a comparison.]
Installation:
Extract the contents into your Data Files directory.
Uninstallation:
Remove the added files from your game directory.
Conflicts:
The Sitting Mod – Forces standard animations instead of the intended custom ones.
Requirements:
MWSE 2.1
Recommendations:
- New Beast Bodies by Liztail, Wey's Argonians, Vurt's Argonians Retexture, or Improved Argonians – Popular replacers that visually complement the new skeleton well.
- Predator Beast Races – A gameplay overhaul for beast races, also MWSE-based and not compatible with OpenMW.
- Naga Breed – A custom race originally built from various resources; this skeleton was first included as part of it and is now applied to the race again.
- Shadowscales – A race mod that automatically uses this custom skeleton.
- Dirnaes' Beast Animations – Animation replacers compatible with the new skeleton and enhance the visual result. Weapon Sheathing includes these animations as well.
- Animation Blending or Animation Blending - OpenMW – Adds animation blending to Morrowind, enabling smooth transitions between animations.
