About this mod
This mod adds Ranged Killcam that are triggered outside of VATS. Bullet killcam included. Now works with Next-Gen Update.

Killcam has a chance to be triggered by sneak kills and last kills on hostile targets. Use MCM to configure “cooldown” and set trigger frequency.
This mod doesn't support all weapons and situations, but this works with existing killcam mods, so it doesn't really matter.
Think of this as a mod that simply increases the variety of kill cams. Links:

v1.4 now triggers the killcam with various ammo types, thus improving compatibility with ammo and gun mods. (This does not require patches and edits below.)

And the killcam now be triggered in other slow-motions. (Jet, Bullet time mods, etc.) (When using VAFS Redux, turn the VATS setting ON.)

Now you can adjust the camera speed using Adjustable VATS Speed (F4SE). (it's for VATS, however it works with this killcam too).

In 1.7.1 and later versions, you can cancel the killcam using either Right click / TAB key / Xbox controller B button.
The console command to restart the mod is as follows:

Some weapon types are technically capable of triggering the killcam but are blocked because the damage calculation doesn't work well for them.
If you want to try these out, use FO4Edit and remove the contents of FormID List > fo4kc02_keywordsA_Block.

Q: Does this work alongside VAFS?
A: Depending on the changes VAFS makes to vanilla VATS, this killcam may also get those changes. Previously, I've seen reports that activating VATS in VAFS's MCM menu makes them work alongside. (Assign VATS to a key you never use.) Please try it if you are interested.

I had comparable issues. I'm not really sure if this fixed this, but I think I solved it by activating VATS in VAFS MCM menu. (I just assigned VATS to a button I normally never use)You also really need to use FO4EDIT to change every projectile type to Beam of the munitions ammo types you want this to trigger on. (I don't use Munitions myself, but I needed to change this for the vanilla projectiles.)Hope this helps, it's how I managed to get it to work at least.
The mod is not compatible with weapon mods that use the deliverer animation type and may cause ctds. I have not been able to reproduce the issue with the vanilla deliverer so far, however, if the game has an issue, please consider possible incompatibilities with weapon mods and some animation types.

So.... I think I found the problem and all these crashes I've had are most likely due to the deliverer animations type. I was using the beretta mod that uses deliverer animation, and noticed ctds were ALWAYS happening with that wep. So probably something is goin on when the killcam script ends, and this something somewhat clashes with deliverer kind animations. Again I may be totally wrong. Anyways thanks for all the work and the advices. They really helped!
Information for older versions:
If the mod does not work with weapon mods that use their own ammo or ammo mods:
Ammunition must be the same "beam" style projectile type as in the vanilla game.
I won't know those details without asking the author, but the following method may work.
1: Open mods using FO4Edit.
2: Find the projectile that the ammunition uses. image
3: Try changing the type to beam type. image
(4: If the tracer appears broken), use the vanilla tracer instead or set the frequency to 0 to make the tracer invisible.
