The Break Action Laser has a new separate weapon configured as an Institute version. This system of 3 Institute Weapons are all peers and any one may spawn on the synths. Deadpools's Wattz Laser Gun replaces vanilla Institute Laser Weapons and Fusion Gun rounds out the mix. Then the CROSS PlasRail adds a little spice to synth bosses.

The Break Action Laser has a new separate weapon configured as an Institute version. It is part of a system of 3 Institute Weapons which are all all peers and any one may spawn on the synths. Deadpools's Wattz Laser Gun replaces vanilla Institute Laser Weapons and Fusion Gun rounds out the mix. Then the CROSS PlasRail adds a little spice to synth bosses.
"Institute" Break Action Lasers and Institute Wattz Lasers both have unique Institute paint and Institute icons.
** If you don't use Complex Item Sorter just ignore my Complex Sorter mods.
Install the Following:
1. CROSS Break Action Laser
- - The free high res texture from Niero's gumroad are highly recommended.
2. 4estGimp - CROSS_Institute_BreakActionLaser - in files here
- - This mod includes a Complex Sorter ini file for correct INNR arrangement, naming and tagging.
- - Those of you who already had my CROSS_BreakActionLaser.ini Complex Sorter file can can disable it.
3. CROSS PlasRail - A synth boss in a group can spawn with one of these. This is uncounted weapon 4 ;)
4. 4estGimp - CROSS PlasRail INNR and .ini for Complex Sorter - Needed for correct INNR arrangement, naming and tagging.
5. Fusion Gun
6. 1. 4estGimp - Fusion Gun Peer or 3. 4estGimp - Fusion Gun Peer Compacted choose ONE
7. Wattz Laser Gun
8. Energy Weapon Replacer - Wattz Laser Gun
- - Choose "Institute Guns" when installing. Do not select the other options unless you want the vanilla Laser Guns completely replaced by Wattz Lasers in game.
- - Any option is fine for the Super Mutant overrides. I run "None".
- - IMPORTANT - Choose [Optional] Removed Leveled List Injection Script.
9. 4estGimp - WattzLaserGun_ComplexSorter_ini - in files here - an ini for Complex Sorter tagging.
Recommended but not required:
Upgrade to M8r's FallUI Icon Library, FIS, Complex Item Sorter, and 4estGimp - M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter Enhancements II. Complete Complex Sorter and 4estGimp - M8r Complex item Sorter Enhancements II instructions: UI and Complex Sorter Installation
Notes
- The Institute Break Action Laser is a separate weapon from the Standard Break Action Lasers. The standard version will still spawn normally in game.
- Those of you who run the Wattz Laser Gun as a full LaserGun replacer really should use Wattz Laser Military Paint Retexture. It looks much better than the regular skin.
- As state above, if you don't use Complex Item Sorter just ignore my Complex Sorter mods.
