Thank you for making this, the Institute will be more interesting this way.

Side note, I may spotted an oversight? I use Vortex and between 4estGimp - CROSS_Institute_BreakActionLaser and 01. 4estGimp_FusionGun_InstituteLaserGun_Peer there is an overlapping file: "WeaponLLInject.pex".
Is it working as intended if 01. 4estGimp_FusionGun_InstituteLaserGun_Peer loads after 4estGimp - CROSS_Institute_BreakActionLaser?

You are right about the .pex files having the same name.  However it is just a side-effect of making mods with a Leveled List injection script.  Every mod made with Dank's script will have identical .pex files.  It hurts nothing as the mod specific information is in the .esp.

    2022.02.10 Update

Added 4estGimp - WattzLaserGun_ComplexSorter_ini.  This file will tag all version of the Wattz Laser Guns for those who have M8r's Complex Item Sorter.  Everyone else can ignore it.

Remove 4estGimp - WATTZ_NrgWeapReplacer_ComplexSorter_ini if you have it installed.

A good general load order for weapons is:

    1) Standard Weapons

    2) Vanilla Weapon Modifiers
Mods which change damage and components, ie: Weapon Mod fixes, Immersive Reflex Sight, Equilibrium...etc.

    3) Vanilla Weapon Replacers

Replacers often have their own settings and have new models for the parts of the weapon.  Many also replace some of the workbench modifications which go onto them.  That's why they need to go after mods which affect weapons or weapon components.

Incredible work as always! I did want to ask if this mod is compatible with ITO Institute Technology Overhaul by micalov, since I believe their full version overhauls all the default Institute weaponry and your mod for the Wattz Laser replaces them

Thanks for some addons into Institute Armory with these QoL changes. I would ask if you will do some improvements to these two institute weapon mods:
    Institute Pulse Carbine
    The Institute Arsenal Overhaul

Regarding some leveled list injection improvements or weapon stats improvements. ?The Institute Pulse Carbine is just unusable due to its extremely low damage.

For the record, although it was stated below by afq69, you don't need to install the Wattz replacer mod in order for this to function?

Destriptions tab >  Instructions > Read all of step 8.  Actually, read all the instruction section.

      - Choose "Institute Guns" when installing.  Do not select the other options unless you want the vanilla Laser Guns completely replaced by Wattz Lasers in game.

The Watts replacer is only being used to replace institute weapons not all laser weapons.  Even then, I have the Break Action and Fusion Gun injecting into the same leveled lists.  So the institute laser weapons will spawn as a mix of the 3.

See the sticky.  You probably have something like See Through Scopes which changed the scopes.  Also, with this mod you should not have any "Black Institute Rifle" at all.  That's sounds like Synth Overhaul - C.A.S.T.

      Thanks for your reply!
Those Weapons are included in the Look At me Institute Edition for the Black or White theme. I deleted the weapon entries in the esp via FO4Edit and will investigate my next Synth encounters. Some test with resurrected Synth seems to work now.

after running Complex Sorter again im always getting this Error Message for the Fusion Gun.
      Error Fusion Gun

You either don't have my Enhancements II mod installed or don't have it installed correctly.   Check the installation PDF on 4estGimp - M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter Enhancements.  UI and Complex Sorter Installation?
Perhaps you don't have the icons set to "FIS" in the MCM settings.  A pic is in the PDF.

Can I use your mod with Bogeyman of the Commonwealth (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55510)? Because it seems that both mods are adding some spice to the Institute. But with both mods perhaps a little bit too much spice

I've not tried that mod but it appears the FOMOD would see my files (the parent mods more specifically) and then run injection scripts for those into Institute Leveled Lists.  I already have those injected to Institute Leveled Lists.  The end result to spawns might be substantial or it might be imperceptible.  If possible I'd just uncheck any of the mods listed here from the FOMOD of Bogeyman's.  If necessary, a workaround could be to deactivate the mods I have listed here while installing Bogeyman's mod and then re-activating them.

I love the wattz gun in every category except that it only loads 12 fusions cells max.  I use it all the time in battle but have to cheat it by using ECO and setting the custom legendary effect of reload to 500% so the weapon fires off 12 rounds in auto then re-loads really fast (rinse and repeat - it gets tedious to say the least).  I tried to go into FO4edit and find where to tweak the magazine to get more fusion cells to load up but gave up when I couldn't find the hook I was looking for .............  i'm such a hack....  :)

The file you posted is just a tagging file.  The one that replace the vanilla institute weapons with the Wattz is "8. Energy Weapon Replacer - Wattz Laser Gun".

4estGimp, You wouldn't have to have the link to the Cross PlasRail 2k texture pack, do you? I checked niero.gumroad, but it's not there.

Well it looks like my memory failed me on that one.  I swore I had high-res textures for that one.  Thanks for the info.
