About this mod

My solution to Murkwater Construction Site. Easily defensible. Only Transfer Settlements required. No DLC required. Now updated with Transfer Settlements V1.48.

Permissions and credits
Fort Murkwater

Tired of using so much of your settlement budget building a defensible perimeter? I did.
So now I use my settlements as my perimeter. I know of the mod to expand the settlement budget, but I saw it as a challenge to make all of my 'Forts' keep within the game budget using only what I actually scrounged.

This 'Fort' has -

  • Defense 198
  • 20 Beds
  • 20 Water (Better Generators )
  • 20+ Food
  • 3 Stores (Potential for more)
  • All crafting workbenches

Required
Mods

Transfer Settlements
Better Vendor Stalls

Recommended Mods

Better Generators
Longer Power Lines
Clean Beds

Additional Fort Murkwater Notes

This is the birthplace of my 'Fort' configuration. I got really tired of the Mirelurk Queen spawning and killing or destroying everything and everyone she spits at. The 5 turrets on the south roof are for her sole benefit.
They do the job quickly and efficiently.

I HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT set up a supply line between Murkwater Construction Site and Jamaica Plains.
The Provisioner will wander past both Hyde Park and Quincy Quarries... and they will drag the MOBs with them.

The defense in both settlements with my blueprints can handle them, but there is nothing more annoying than being over the other side of the Commonwealth and getting a message that either settlement is under attack.

Installation

The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip

If you like this design could you hit that little 'Endorse' button for me? I would really appreciate it. :)

My other 'Vanilla' Blueprints.
None of my blueprints are designed to be pretty...  :)
What they are designed to be is to not require all DLC, two mods maximum required, easily defensible,
stay within the 'Vanilla' game budget and have everything you need.
