About this mod

Nordhagen Beach turned into a 'Fort'. Easily defensible. Only Transfer Settlements and one mod required. No DLC required. Now updated with Transfer Settlements V1.48.

Permissions and credits
Fort Nordhagen

Tired of using so much of your settlement budget building a defensible perimeter? I did. So now I use my settlements as my perimeter. I know of the mod to expand the settlement budget, but I saw it as a challenge to make all of my 'Forts' keep within the game budget using only what I actually scrounged.

This 'Fort' has -

  • 20 Beds
  • 24 Water (Better Generators )
  • 20+ Food
  • Defense 188
  • 3 Stores (Potential for more)
  • All crafting workbenches

Required Mods

Transfer Settlements
Better Vendor Stalls

Recommended Mods

Better Generators
Longer Power Lines
Clean Beds

Additional Fort Nordhagen Notes

I went a little overboard with the defenses here as I was never sure if a Super-Mutant attack might come from the Fort Strong to the south. The worst attack I have had here was from the named Feral Ghouls... and they were toast before they got within 100 metres of this settlement.

Just a bit of Fallout 4 trivia. At some stage in the game you will probably run across these named Ghouls.
Mr. Donoghue, Mrs. Donoghue, Mr. Sumner, Mrs. Sumner, Mr. Parker, Mrs. Parker, and Ms. Rosa.

If you pay close attention to the the beginning of the game, before you reach the fallout shelter, you will find they are your character's neighbors from Sanctuary Hills... the ones who were not let into the vault... ;)

I would scrap the inside of the local's house and store their crops before laying down this blueprint.

Installation

The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip

If you like this design could you hit that little 'Endorse' button for me? I would really appreciate it. :)

My other 'Vanilla' Blueprints.
None of my blueprints are designed to be pretty...  :)
What they are designed to be is to not require all DLC, two mods maximum required, easily defensible,
stay within the 'Vanilla' game budget and have everything you need.
