Taffington Boathouse as a fort. Easily defensible. Only Transfer Settlements required. No DLC required. Now updated for Transfer Settlements V1.48.

Fort Taffington
Tired of using so much of your settlement budget building a defensible perimeter? I did. So now I use my settlements as my perimeter. I know of the mod to the expand settlement budget, but I saw it as a challenge to make all of my 'Forts' keep within the game budget using only what I actually scrounged.
This 'Fort' has -
- 20 Beds (Minimum)
- 20 Water (Better Generators )
- 20+ Food
- 198 Defense
- 4 Stores
- All crafting workbenches

*** IMPORTANT*** Just to the north of the boathouse is a red pickup truck. BLOW IT UP BEFORE YOU BUILD!!!
If you do not and it gets hit by either friendly or enemy fire it will take out large number of your turrets on top of the building instantly. Trust me... I found out the hard way... :D
Installation
The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip
/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout4/Data/F4SE/plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/
