Simple mod that should allow you to rely less on your Witcher Senses for your looting routine.
Adds the quest item glow/sparkle effect to any container that holds a recipe/schematic/book you haven't read yet, a gwent card that you can add to your collection, horse gear, a weapon or armor of relic/witcher quality, a quest item (rare items that you only need one copy of). The effect temporarily pauses during cutscenes.
Mod Menu Lets you enable/disable the mod and set whether only rare items make containers glow, or whether all lootable items make containers glow ( No Decorative Container Looting recommended for the "All items" option). It's best to save&reload after you change the mod menu settings.
Install: Manual (recommended): either let TW3 Mod Manager install it for you or manually unzip the downloaded file and move the extracted \Mods and \bin folders into your \The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt\ game install folder. Vortex (not recommended for TW3): just click on download/install/enable.
Uninstall: Unmerge the files if you merged them before. Delete \modrareitemsglow\ and the \bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\rareitemsglow.xml mod menu file..
Compatibility: Enhanced Edition: reported to be compatible.
If you recently read a new book/recipe/schematic you may have to reload before containers that hold the same already read book/schematic/recipe in that area stop glowing from a distance.
