How does it work and why ?

There is three currencies in The Witcher 3 : Crowns, Florens and Orens. The first one is the money used in the entiere game. The two others are only "cosmetic" items, that can be exchange into the main currencie, forcing the player to go in Novigrad (or in Toussaint) to make use of them. While their is great mods that improved the usability of this currencies and even expend their immersiveness ( like FOCES ), i always wanted a simpler solution, that would allow player to use every coin found on the Path, without the need to talk to an npc. That lead to this mod, which simply and automaticly convert every Floren and Oren picked up during your journey into Crown.

It cames in two versions :

- The Lite : DLC only, with an exchange rate equal to Vanilla -> 1 Oren = 1 Crown, 1 Floren = 3 Crowns.
Each time you picked an Oren / Floren, you get a notification of the amount of Crowns received after the conversion.

- The Full : it comes with a configurable mod menu, that let you select the exchange rate of each currencie and if you want to see the notif of the amount of Crowns received after the conversion. Keep in mind that changing the exchange rate will also change the economy' balance of the game. Side note : the game always rounded up coin during exchanges. For exemple, if you pick the "Lore-Friendly" preset, we know from the Witcher Wiki that 6 Orens = 1 Crown. And while it should give an exchange rate of 1 Oren = 0.17 Crown, with that preset if you pick up 1 Oren the game will give you 1 Crown.
