Okay, real talk. ::turns chair around backwards:: We all know that Stardew Valley is a romanticized world where you don't have to care about things like shipping costs, variable pricing, corn futures, sanitation, finding seasonal workers, locust plagues, or anything else that makes farming both difficult (for actual farm workers) and ridiculously lucrative (for farm owners), and that makes it easy to rail against the likes of JojaCo, especially when they're selling the exact same stuff as Pierre for the same or higher costs. BUT.

What if JojaCo could offer you something that would make your life easier? Special crops to tempt picky eaters, poppies to celebrate veterans like Kent, or a homegrown winter star [almost] everyone would love to receive at Christmas? What about increased planting seasons or higher yields? Shorter growth periods for high-value crops? What about more profits?

For you, profit-minded farmer, read on.


Joja Fruits, Veggies & Flowers CAN...
Be used to make pickles, wine, jelly, juice, flower-flavored honey, etc.
Be used in recipes that call for generic fruits or vegetables (such as Okay Recipes)
Be given as gifts and will be liked/disliked according to category preference (with some exceptions detailed below)
Be used to dye clothing
Be identified by their appealing bright colors that catch shoppers' eyes
...do pretty much anything else you can do with a fruit, vegetable, or flower

Joja Fruits & Veggies can NOT...
Be used in recipes that call for specific, non-Joja ingredients (a Joja parsnip is different from a "normal" parsnip), however the Harvest Arranger can be used to turn them into regular crops.
Be used to fulfill quests such as "ship 100 cauliflower"
Be assumed to have quite as much healing power as "normal" crops
Be used in the seed maker to make more Joja seeds (wild seeds will result instead)
Become giant crops (for now...)
Be used in any other instance calling for a specific fruit, vegetable, or flower in the game

Where to buy Joja Seeds
Joja Seeds can be bought only through JojaMart, of course
If you have a membership, seed prices are reduced 25% (causing profits to beat those made with seeds bought at Pierre's)
If you have completed the community center, the Joja Blackmarket can be used to purchase all Joja Seeds crops and recipes

Compatibility
This mod does not work on its own with SVE. :( They make changes to the Joja shop that are difficult to workaround. Fortunately, you CAN still get the seeds! Just install the Joja Blackmarket and the seeds will be available regardless of if the CC is complete or not.
Otherwise, there's no reason for this mod to be incompatible with any other mod unless another mod is using the same crop names I did (see below) or messes with the Joja shop.
If you do find an incompatibility, however, please let me know.
Also, this mod naturally pairs well with my other mods, especially Joja Immersion (which has writing I am frankly quite proud of)

Requirements
This mod has several dependencies to make the crops do nice things.

• CP - Content Patcher - used for dialog, mail, signage, and triggering Pierre's heirloom seeds. Technically not required but there's no way you don't already have it.
• JA - Json Assets - needed to have the crops. Absolutely required.
• MT - Miller Time - needed to make flour and sugar from wheat and joja berries. You can delete the folder "[MT] Joja Seeds" if you do not want to install Miller Time without affecting the rest of the mod.
• PFM - Producer Framework Mod - needed to have the crops do certain things in machines other than the Mill. If you do not care about this, you can delete the folder "[PFM] Joja Seeds" without affecting the rest of the mod.
• STF - Shop Tile Framework - needed to tell the game where to sell the seeds. If you only want the seeds to exist in some general capacity (maybe you're using Better Mixed Seeds and want them only there?) or are planning to edit the crop.json files to make the seeds be sold by someone else (Krobus???), you can delete  "[STF] Joja Seeds" without affecting the rest of the mod, but I really don't recommend it.
• SMAPI - Look, we both know you need this. Don't kid yourself.
• Asters Fruit Trees as Crops - Optional. Adds dwarf fruit trees as crops to the Joja store. Uses same frameworks as this mod.
