Ever wanted more angry weather in the Valley?
Say no more as Project Danger Weather brings in the Blizzards and Sandstorms!
Ferngill's Weather Climate and Disaster (WCD) Center has been investigating the chaotic weather that has hit the valley! They advise the farmers to take care as the weather might have adverse effects on their health, stamina, and might even cause some other problems!
Further details below are long and hidden behind spoilers :3
Since I separated the folders for update purposes...
PLEASE CHECK HERE
The main download contains all the goods.
The optional download contains the FTM folder which you can add in order to get monster spawns during the Dark Eclipse weather.
Spoilers for the mod ahead, continue with precaution.

List of compatibilities~
----- Recolours -----
The option to change maps should be compatible with recolours as I mostly use the vanilla tilesheets!
----- Custom Farms -----
If the farm map changes any vanilla map, the 'Sprinkler Malfunction - Maps' may cause visual bugs.
If the map is a CFL farm, the 'Sprinkler Malfunction - Map Changes' will do nothing, but the soil can still dry up if 'Weather Consequences' is enabled.
(With 'Safe Weather' disabled.)
If the farm map is a custom CP farm, the 'Sprinkler Malfunction - Map Changes' will do nothing (unless support is added).
----- Map Edits -----
Lnh's Ginger Island Overhaul
SVE - to a certain extent due to how it does its map patches
- No longer providing active support for Grandpa's Farm and IFR2.
- No support for Frontier Farm.
(Above are specific to map changes for sprinkler malfunction, other than that, consequences should be fully operational)
- Lance's schedule will change if volcanic ash map edit is enabled.
(updated in v1.3.0)
Map Tweaks for 1.6 - to a certain extent, some bridges will disappear (they got washed away :3)
(implemented in v1.2.4)
Liliet's Improved Cindersap Forest - for wildfire
(implemented in v1.2.8)
*If any visual bugs occur with the supported mods mentioned please let me know as I am not up to date with any possible significant map changes they may have had*
*Monsoon map edits are just - hope for the best :D*
----- Other Weather Mods -----
Kanadeyoru's Weather Wonders
(implemented in v1.1.0: their mod will take complete priority on year 5 (due to probabilities), from year 1 to 4 the scripted weather should not conflict with theirs)
*Check the Configuration - Requests for prioritizing PDW over WW post year 4*
----- Other Changes -----
Changes to Farm Animal Data
Should be compatible with Darkwings, Blue Eggs, Large Void Eggs and Milkable Sheep ><
Now including Animal Multiproduce :3
Any other mod that modifies farm animal data might not be compatible.
Custom farm animals will not be affected by these changes, unless given support.
Changes to NPC Schedules
Might not be compatible with other mods that changes NPC schedules, this is why it is default to false, and remains on BETA.
Use at your own risk.
Changes to NPC Island Visits
Should be compatible if no other mod changes the conditions.
Custom NPCs will still visit island according to their own conditions, unless given support.
Support for Cold Weather Mod
Should be compatible as of v1.4.4
When Kitty Muffs are used, two buffs should be present.
The Kitty Muffs buff against the weather, and the Warmth Buff for cold weather.
Blizzard and Hail weather should now also register as "snowy" and have the Cold Debuff applied ><
Spawns for Expansions!
Should be compatible as of v1.4.0 in FTM file.
(Please read instructions in download tab if you want spawns or not)
The weather itself might not be visible from all of these places - take it as residual dark magic.
NOT compatible with mods that edit maps greatly, unless mentioned above!
Partially compatible with expansion mods that add new areas/maps - I will try my best with these, but I can't make promises.
(I won't change the weather on expansions that are not close to Pelican Town, or have their own lore)

Make sure to use GMCM so you can check your configs easier~
Read carefully!
It is quite a lot...
----- Weather Selection -----
Fog and Sleet are only available if 'Change Vanilla Weather?' is 'true' (found in Immersion section).
Weather: Toggle which weathers to add or not, careful with these. Recommended NOT to toggle off if the weather is currently occurring.
(sleet option won't do anything if WW is installed, as that mod's Sleet takes priority)
(All types of weather can be toggled here!)
(The fantasy weather types are also enabled here!)
Activate Monsoon?: I wonder what this does?
Includes: drastic map changes, obeys consequences config toggle, some NPCs might be affected, is priority weather.
Will rain during a festival if 'Special Weather' is 'true'.
(implemented in v1.4.0)
Falling Snow: Attempts to make snow fall like debris. Only available if 'Change Vanilla Weather?' is 'true'.
(won't do anything if WW is installed, as that mod takes priority).
(implemented in v1.2.5)
Reduce Fog Blur?: Reduces fog blur and thickness. Only available if 'Change Vanilla Weather?' is 'true'.
(implemented in v1.2.5)
----- Stardust Behaviour -----
Stardust: Toggle if the special stardust that falls appears as floating stars (windy effect) or they come crashing into the ground (rain effect).
----- Map Edits -----
These are not yet compatible with mods that change maps and will (in most cases) be automatically disabled if a map changing mod is present.
(Unless mentioned in the compatibility portion of the description).
Select 'true' in any of these if you want the map changes
For Flooding: Various full map edits to areas in the valley that have been affected by the rains!
(Maps affected - Desert, Bus Stop, Mountain, Forest. Pam schedule is affected and changed to her rainy schedule!)
For Heat Wave: Various full map edits to areas in the valley, island and desert that have been affected by the heat!
(Maps affected - Island North, Desert, Mountain, Forest)
Sprinkler Malfunction: Makes sprinklers malfunction during the heat wave! Changes to maps make sprinklers malfunction, deterrent damage is unaffected by 'Safe Weather' and 'Disable Debuffs'. Disabled map changes by default.
(implemented in v1.0.4)
(changed in v1.3.0)
For Tropical Storm: Various full map edits to areas in the island that have been affected by the rains!
(Maps affected - Island North, Island South + Resort, Dig Site Bridge.)
For Volcanic Ash: A full map edit to an area in the island that have been affected by the eruption!
(Map affected - Island North.)
(implemented in v1.2.0)
For Wildfire: A small map edit to the forest - its on fire!
(Map affected - Forest and no access to the Woods)
(implemented in v1.2.0)
Post Weather Maps: Enables lingering map edits from weather events.
(Maps affected - depending on the weather)
(implemented in v1.2.0)
----- Immersion -----
More Night Events Added?: Enables night events from weather effects.
Requires MNE to work.
(implemented in v1.1.0 - related to mud rain, tropical storm, and hail).
Change Vanilla Weather?: Enables changes to vanilla weather. Chances to have foggy days (when sunny or rainy) and sleet (when snowing).
(Automatically disabled with Weather Wonders - theirs takes priority)
(implemented in v1.1.0 - has a 40% chance of changing the sunny, rainy and snow weather into the other variant)
Weather Consequences: Enables weather consequences.
Certain chances that crops may get killed, but also chances that they might speed-up their growth.
As well as other effects, such as dry soil, among others.
(implemented in v.1.1.0 - for those that would like something more challenging but immersive)
(v1.1.5 does nothing if safe weather is on)
Weather Protection: Adds buildings, objects, and clothing that can help with the negative consequences with weather in an immersive way (of sorts).
Can only be available if 'Safe Weather' is 'false'. Trash or deconstruct any of these before deselecting any.
Requires SpaceCore and ItemExtensions and MMAP for better effects (for clothes to have a useful effect not just visual - you WILL eat this edible sunscreen).
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Fertilizer Appearance: Changes fertilizer object look. You need the base mod to use other looks!
Options: Vanilla Style, 'Grandpa's Tools' by Gwen, 'Vanilla Tweaks' by Taiyo and Airyn, Invisible (or for Recolouring)
(No assets from these mods were used, these were just attempts to fit that mod's style so the item does not seem too out of place)
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Fertilizer is Easier: Changes percentage chance of fertilizer production to 100%, just to make it a little easier! It will still require the Radioactive Bar.
(implemented in v1.3.0)
----- NPC Immersion -----
NPC Immersion: Changes NPC schedules to fit the weather patterns some more, also adds dialogue related to the weather via conversation topics.
Adding dialogue is 'true' by default, and schedule changes are 'false' by default.
Schedule changes are in BETA and they may be weird if enabled.
(I tried my best with the dialogue, if its a bit out of character I am sorry T-T)
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Activate Changes For NPC: Activate the changes for individual NPCs. It will only activate the chosen options in 'NPC Immersion'. Some NPC's don't have active schedules, so this option will do nothing if you only chose 'Schedule Changes BETA' in 'NPC Immersion'.
All vanilla NPCs are 'true' by default.
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Affect Animals?: Affects some animal's production when certain weathers occur. Animals added by a mod are protected by their authors.
Mostly prevents them from producing whilst a weather is happening or the day after a weather happens.
Might not work if other mods change a FarmAnimal's Data, 'false' by default as not enough testing has been done... but should work...
(implemented in v1.3.0)
----- Danger Be Gone -----
Safe Weather: Disables adverse weather effects, makes them cosmetic only.
(implemented in v1.1.0 - for those that like danger weather without the danger...)
(v1.1.5 improves it to completely disable weather effects and consequences - now fully just cosmetic)
Disable Debuff? : Disables the adverse weather effects, for use with 'Weather Consequences' being true.
(implemented in v1.2.7)
(Safe Weather must be 'false' as that makes every adverse effect and consequences be disabled.)
----- Audio Changes -----
Creepy Eclipse Music Half-day: Changes Eclipse music to be creepier on its peak time. Only available if 'Creepy Eclipse Music All-day' is 'false'.
Creepy Eclipse Music All-day: Changes Eclipse music to be creepier the entire day.
(implemented in v1.1.0)
*If you choose 'Creepy Eclipse Music Half-Day' as 'true' the music will only change at peak hour (2pm to 4pm) once you change location :D*
Change music for Spirit Eve's Festival: Works only if 'Special Weather Effects' is 'true', only changes the day music, not the festival music... I like that one. (Default 'true')
(implemented in v1.3.0)
----- Requests -----
No Sandstorm in Pelican Town: Removes Sandstorm weather from happening in Pelican Town.
(implemented in v1.3.0)
(removed in v1.4.4 as weather was removed from happening in PT)
Ash Weather Only in Ginger Island: If set to true, it removes ashes from the volcanic ash weather from happening in Pelican Town and the Desert.
(implemented in v1.3.25)
(removed in v1.4.4 as weather was removed from happening in PT and Desert)
Drink SPF?: Changes whether to eat or drink the SPF50. 'False' is yummy munch eat some SPF. (Don't ask)
(This also affects the bug spray...)
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Special Weather Effects: Only affects certain vanilla weather, guess you just have to try and find out...
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Only tweaks weather during festival days and event
Rainy Spirit's Eve: Toggle whether it rains during the Spirit's Eve or not. Requires 'Special Weather Effects' to be 'true'.
(implemented in v1.4.0)
Weather Totems: Weather totems for your every need, or maybe not. Careful, some of them might be cursed... A bit difficult to get rid of maybe, always with consequences.
(implemented in v1.3.0)
Vanilla Weather Totems: Weather totems for your every need, or maybe not. These are less dangerous.
The sprite will match the mod Totems to Tomes if present.
These are fixed to stack at max 5.
(implemented in v1.4.0)
Book Sprites used (same as from the mod mentioned) are from the RPG Items Pixel Art free spritesheet, and have been recoloured and slightly modified to fit the weather theme they represent.
Rain Totem Match: Match the rain totem sprite to the rest of the vanilla weather totems.
Does nothing if Totems to Tomes is present.
Enabling it, will match the behaviour of being fixed to stack at max 5.
(implemented in v1.4.0)
Prioritize Weather: Prioritizes PDW weather probabilities over WW weather probabilities post year 4 scripted forecast.
(implemented in v1.3.19)
Just the Northern Lights: Those? Those are just the northern lights. No, it does not smell like smoke.
(implemented in v1.3.28)
Makes the northern lights appear within the farmhouse
Only the farmhouse (any custom maps linked to the farmhouse won't be so lucky :( ... )
Weather Consequences REDUX: If weather consequences are enabled, this changes how punishing they are. 'Default' is the same consequences that have been in the mod thus far. 'LITE' is highly reduced consequences, and less likely to lose mass amounts of crops.
It is defaulted to 'Default'.
(implemented in v1.3.28)
*Will always be 'false' by default.*

Will most certainly happen in year 1 to 4. Years 5+ will different probabilities to occur.

Not sure what else, this mod is ultimately done, and just squashing bugs now...
... And I keep adding stuff because weather pretty :3

Please don't come at me >~<
- Winter has some wacky days that show Snow tooltip, Rain icon, rain sounds are present (but there is no rain) but snow is present. This is probably due to Sleet (as I modify vanilla weather rather than add it as a new weather), hence I recommend to disable it if you are bothered by this phenomena.
(If not... This is a feature, its the curse of the Project going astray -> joking and crying)
(Automatically disabled with Weather Wonders so this should essentially not happen when that mod is loaded)
(I believe I fixed this in v1.4.0, however I have yet to test more and won't remove this issue)
- Sound sometimes doesn't loop for some people causing a crash, try to redownload the mod; I haven't been able to replicate this issue and redid the .ogg just to be safe
- When enabling Sprinkler Drought - Map Changes, some maps may have bugged visuals (specially if they change the vanilla maps and the change is not supported) -> hence a deterrent has been added (optional)
-Do not abuse of the totems, use one at a time as using more than one may cause some issues (happened once, haven't been able to replicate, this is mostly a warning)
*Don't forget to check the changelog!*
*You can check this article for more information on the updates and versions!*
*You can check out this calendar in articles for information on weather from year 1 to 4!*
- Updated in v1.4.4 for better quality and understanding
