I found new 1.6 vanilla portraits are bland and boring because they looks exactly the same for everyone, which remind me of my passport photo (lol), so I remade them into portraits that I imagined they would want to take. For AT version, please check it here, AT packs are not up-to-date with the CP version until I find a way to reduce the workload.
INSTRUCTION:
- Put [CP] Spouse Portraits Reworked into your Mods folder.
- In config file or GMCM menu, choose:
- "Vanilla" or "Tonedown" under RecolorPortraits if you're using with other desaturated recolor, such as DaisyNiko or Universal Recolor
- "Yes" or "No" turn on/off replacing for individual portraits.
- "No" or "Adarin" under "GenderbentBachelors" if you want to use with Adarin's genderbent bachelors mod.
- "Yes" or "No" under "SVEPortrait" to turn on/off replacing SVE portraits. You must install Stardew Valley Expanded for this to work.
- "Yes" or "No" under "SamMullet" to turn on/off replacing Mullet Sam, you must install Rosenbug's Sam Mullet Replacement for this to work.
- "Yes" or "No" under "RomRasPortrait" to turn on/off replacing Romanceable Rasmodius - Updated and Romanceable Rasmodia, need either to work.
- "Yes" or "No" under "RRRR Portrait" to turn on/off replacing RRRR Wizard, need SVE to work.
- More Portraits (4.0.0):
- These are completely new painting and not vanilla spouse portraits, but share some similiar features. To obtain these, check the condition below or media section above for detail:
+ 'Queens Of Heart' (3x2 painting): At least 14 hearts with Emily/Haley and 10 hearts with the other. Obtainable through Merchant with 45000 gold.
- Frame system:
- "Unique" will reset them to their original version, 'Seasonal Wood' will load frame dynamically according to season, any other variables will load the respective frame for all seasons. (check the images for more information).

PERMISSION: If you ever want to edit my mod, just ask me in the comment section (most of the time I would say yes!). Or if I ever don't reply for 30 days or so, consider it as a yes, this will apply only to vanilla characters and their genderbent version. For modded content, you need permission from the author of such mods.
PLANS:
- Small patches for alternative versions (if I have time)
- More variation? All villager?
- Poly version: included in the current version, might add some more.
RECOMMENDED MOD:
- AgentLyoko's Darkroom Portrait Shop and SVE version which add a new and lore-friendly way to obtain these spouse portraits.
- AirynS and DSV team's Diverse Stardew Valley (DSV), the portraits will be automatically changed to DSV versions if both mods are installed.
