This...this has Apples feeding a horse a carrot? This is automatically the greatest mod of all time. Thank you so much for all your hard work in creating these delightful paintings.
How exactly do I get the Rasmodia portrait to show up? I've been fiddling with the settings but can only get the regular Magnus one to show up. I have ROMRAS and it's RRRR patch installed so I don't know if that's interfering.
This mod is soooooooo perfect, thank you so much for your hard work!!!!!!!!!! Is there an possibility that one character can have multiple different version of portraits at the same time? (I totally understand that maybe tons of work, this version is already wonderful.) <3 <3 <3
Hello! I just want to ask since Im not sure abt something, when I downloaded the mod, its simply shown as a white page instead of a folder I can open, (exctract? I dont know how its called, english isnt my first language, sorry) and Im worried about it not working since whenever this happened with diffrent mods, they didnt work.
This happened because you didn't have a program to extract a .rar file. To extract a rar file, you need something like Winrar or 7-zip, or any other program that supports rar file format.
This mod is fantastic really fleshes out the portrait to feel more like a reward. I just wish that the requirements for the queen of hearts be lower to 8 hearts for the non spouse, really cute painting but seems odd to me you need to cheat on your wife with her sister to get it hung up in the house.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the condition might be too much, it was the first portrait of the experimental branch which was intended for poly players.
I will definitely consider this in next update, and add more version if people are interested.
These pictures are really lovely and vivid! But I also love the original ID (x). Do I have to wait and download the AT version if I want to have both hanging all over my house? Thank you for your work. Love it!
I was reluctant to update the AT version at this point because AT doesn't support dynamic frames, with the aim of the current of mod, AT will not likely to keep up with it.
For your information, to make the AT fully up-to-date with CP, I need to include every spouse portrait with every frame option. The current version has about 27 portraits and 15 dynamic frames: 27x15 = 405 individual portraits, which also means that for every new frame or new portrait I add in this mod, the size of the AT version will grow more and more bigger, and I need to edit them all by hand.
As a suggestion, You could add them all to a unrelated that can be obtained through the furniture catalogue, that way you only need to add them to a single painting. Love your mod btw!
I see what you meant, yeah I can make completely new, unrelated furniture as a placeholder for all the portraits.
The reason why I don't want to do that right now is because the frame is not configurable per portrait. The method I used for this mod is to load the portraits first -> load a frame on top of it, but because they are handled by one config, if you have two or more portraits, they will share the exact same frame, thus defeating half the reason for having more than one portrait.
With AT doesn't support modular patching, and CP is too redundant for frame variation control. I really can't find a way to make this the best way possible for you all. I hope you understand.
(I'm still looking for solution though, don't worry)
Hi! I’m using RRRR and all the other portraits are changed with this mod and working properly except I can’t change Mangus’. It’s the default RRRR portrait! Even when I change the configuration. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thank you!
Do you mean you couldn't change RRRR Magnus variation? If so, can you try changing the config RRRR variation in config? The configuration for RRRR is specified as 'RRRR Variation', not the 'Wizard Variation'. I separated them for easier control over variations but it might be too confusing.
Yes, I apologize. I couldn't change the RRRR variation under "portrait", above Wizard variation in the config. I noticed as well that the frames change for all the others when I choose different frames in the config but not my Mangus portrait. I hope this information helps more! I love this mod so much, I'd love to get it working for Magnus'. Thank you :) I also checked and dechecked SVE to see if it would change it (I have SVE as it's required for RRRR) but it didn't change the portrait either. Thanks again!
Since there are some problem with patching multiple files, I removed the dependency for RRRR and control it with a config instead. Now you only need SVE installed.
To use the RRRR portraits: - Install SVE and this mod. RRRR is not a hard requirement anymore. - Turn on the 'RRRR Portrait' and 'SVE Portrait' in this mod config, this will replace the SVE Wizard with RRRR Wizard. - If you're changing the config while playing, go outside and go inside again for CP to reload the pack.
Yeah, it was a conflict between mine and RRRR itself, apparently RRRR changed the whole portrait's data into its own if you set the RRRR "Sprite" config to "Use included", mine just changed the appearance of the SVE portrait so they don't match the target.
I found the solution for that so don't worry. Should be fixed in 4.0.1.
Can you use the RRRR appearance without RRRR being installed? I use the vanilla-ish sprites with standard RomRas and would like them to match the portrait.
I don't think you can. I added a requirement for RRRR portraits to use with RRRR only, but I can make an alternative for you on the next update. Which mods are you using right now?
I think user wants to use the spouse portrait from this mod: Jello's Vanilla-ish RRRR Wizard but without using RRRR as it requires SVE and user doesn't use that mod
