Browse and select StardewModdingAPI in your game installation folder. For example, the correct folder for Steam user is something like: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley
Choose OpenGL.
[Important ! ] Browse and select the Preset file Cinematic.ini that you have extracted earlier. Proceed until you finish the installation.
[Important ! ]Copy the "reshade-shaders" folder that you have extracted earlier, and paste on the one that you have installed in your game installation folder earlier. You have to overwrite the files when asked.
If you don't like the wash-out effect of Reshade on the portrait of dialogue UI, download the Dialogue UI Mask files, and do the following:

1. Dialogue UI Mask needs to detect certain part of the dialogue UI, hence only works if all of the following conditions are met:
Full-screen or Window Borderless Mode
UI scale 100% (Not the Zoom Level, you can use any Zoom Level)
Screen resolutions: 1920x1080, 2560x1440 or 3840x2160
2. Extract the Dialogue UI Mask that you have downloaded, and open the folder according to the type of UI and resolution of your game. 3. Copy the "reshade-shaders" folder, and paste on the one that you have installed in your game installation folder earlier. You have to overwrite the files when asked.
* If you think any UI mod may look great with this preset, you may suggest it, and I may make the UI mask if I'm interested.

thank you for the fast response! it turned out i had a tilesheet mod that was interfering with the immersive shadows feature of SVE. now that i removed it i have shadows.. but they are still now as visible as yours. you still have shadows for object i lack, and for the objects we both have shadows, yours are way more visible and defined XD

the screenshots here were taken with the subtle crt filter, it is very subtle at 1440p resolution, and it is barely noticeable after uploading to nexus
Since you link to the version of Dynamic Night Time that's still on Nexus, am I correct in assuming this reshade was made with that version of Dynamic Night Time in mind?
Interesting colors! The sepia vibe is very nice, but too much green for me overall. Refreshing to switch things up though. Edit: Oh, no, I realized I mixed them up and meant it about Vintage. This one is similar, vintage is more pleasing.
