About this mod

Update 1.6 tilesheets to match VPR recolor from grapeponta. Only contains new tiles for 1.6 so you must install VPR from grapeponta first.

Updated (09/04/2024): I have been given permission by grapeponta to keep this mod up while waiting for the official VPR update, and I'll try to keep it updated at least until they're back to modding. After VPR is updated (be mindful that there is no ETA for this), I'll change the mod to only have my personal VPR-recolor so there won't be duplicate or conflict with the original mod. My personal VPR-recolor will be mostly recolor other's tilesheets to VPR (with permission from the original author to do a VPR version of the tilesheet) or some tweaks that I personally use for my playthrough (all of them will be configurable).

Why:
  • I want to play SDV 1.6 with VPR so I make the new 1.6 tiles to match its color scheme. However, this is just a temporary fix and might have weird visual bug as I haven't test that much.
  • This mod is base on grapeponta's Vibrant Pastoral Recolor. If grapeponta is back and plan to update their mod to 1.6, I'll gladly take this mod down. I can also provide this mod's assets that I made to help them updating the original mod if they want to.
  • Feel free to leave a comment if there's any weird visual bug (with images and SMAPI log if possible)!

Instruction:
  • Install Vibrant Pastoral Recolor by grapeponta.
  • Install this mod like normal Content Patcher mods.
  • Please do not replace VPR files with this mod files. They're supposed to be 2 different mods.

Compatibility:
1. Before you ask - yes, this mod should be compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded since it doesn't edit anything about SVE, but if you're playing with SVE, please consider install both of these mod below!
2. For Ridgeside Village, I'd recommend Calm Colors Ridgeside Village for recolored buildings that pairs up perfectly with VPR!
3. For East Scarp, you can check Redraw Pelican Town (VPR)'s East Scarp Add-on in optional files! Or you can join the ES Discord server and grab the files in #useful-files channel for VPR-theme buildings instead!

Config options:
VPR Sync Setting
  • Green Fall: true/false. Default true. Make fall grass green instead of orange. Make sure to check for original VPR's config too. Will be override with Redraw Pelican Town's config if installed. Sleep for a day in game or reload the game to see the changes. If you see mismatching tiles, you might want to check the config of other recolor/retexture mods.
  • Water Type: opaque/semi/transparent. Default opaque. If you see underwater tile flickering, please change this config to match VPR's.
  • Blue Grass Type: none/vanilla/vanillaShort/bluer/bluerShort. Default vanilla. Change the color of the blue grass. You can change this option to none if you want to use mods that edit the blue grass.

Interior
  • Town Interior Fix: true/false. Default true. Change 1.6 town interior tilesheet to VPR. Turn this off if you see any conflict when you use other interior mods.
  • Farm House Upgrade Interior Fix: true/false. Default true. Change 1.6 farm house tilesheet to VPR. Turn this off if you see any conflict when you use other farm house interior mods.
  • Door Mismatching Color Fix: true/false. Default true. Fix town doors mismatching color. Turn this off if you see any conflict when you use other town interior mods.

Mini Map
  • Mini Map Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor the vanilla mini map (not included other mod's maps). Turn this off if you're using SVE or any other mod that edit the mini map.
  • Meadowland Map Fix:  true/false. Default true. Recolor the meadowland mini map to match this mod's map. Turn this off if you're using SVE or any other mod that edit the mini map.

Tree
  • Mossy Tree Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor the mossy vanilla trees to VPR. Turn this off if you see any conflict when you use other tree texture mods, such as Simple Foliage.
  • Green Rain Tree Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor the new green rain tree to VPR. Turn this off if you see any conflict when you use other tree texture mods, such as Simple Foliage.

Misc
  • Carpenter Window Fix: true/false. Default false. Turn this on or off if you see weird animation for the window of Robin's house.
  • Desert Tiles Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor the new 1.6 desert tilesheet to VPR.
  • Skull Cavern Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor the new 1.6 skull cavern entrance to VPR.
  • Bookseller Zone Shadow Fix: true/false. Default true. Tried to fix the bookseller zone shadow. Turn this off if you see any conflicting shadow on the ground. Will be override with Redraw Pelican Town if installed.
  • Underwater Tree Animation Fix: true/false. Default true. Tried to fix the animation of underwater tree (mostly at beach farms). Turn this off if you're using other's mods that edit this tree.
  • Seeds Spots Fix: true/false. Default true. Recolor 1.6 seeds spots to make it more recognizable.
