About this mod

A merge combining several of the best music mods available on the Nexus while preserving vanilla music. Simple as that.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This is a simple music merge combining several (9 in Version 1 and 11 in Version 2) popular music mods on the Nexus to add (not replace) lore-friendly music to the game. Nyghtfall serves as the basis, here. If my personal selections are not to your taste, there are plenty of other mods serving the same purpose out there - I linked a few at the bottom of the description to check out in case this isn't what you're looking for. I made this for myself and figured I would share in case anyone else was looking for the same. Might save you a few hours.

Requirements (Links go directly to the required files)
Download and hide/delete all esps from the following:

Version 1.0:
Version 2.0:
* = Additional Requirements
* = Newly Added
Optional: Install High Quality Vanilla Music to enhance the vanilla music, which will still be played with the above.
Optional: Install the Nyghtfall - Sound FX Combined patch provided here, which combines Nyghtfall's sound fx with the vanilla sound fx for more diversity. I curated it for use with Yggdrasil's SoundFX. Requires Nyghtfall (if you only want Nyghtfall’s sound fx and no music, download the fomod version in the optionals of that mod page).

Now includes a version with Clofas' Dungeon Sounds Overhaul Dungeon Music Add-On in the Miscellaneous Files!

The music files from the mods listed above are mandatory. This music merge does not contain any music itself but there are no plugin dependencies other than my own. Remember to hide/delete all esps from the above!

To extract Chapter II's bsa... Mod Organizer 2 comes with a bsa-extractor. You can find Chapter II's bsa in the Archives tab in the right pane of MO2. Right click it, select "Extract..." and put it into the Chapter II folder. You should now have a Music folder within Chapter II with the required files.

This is compatible with other audio mods such as Audio Overhaul and Immersive Sounds Compendium. You can also feel free to select your own vanilla music replacer to use alongside this as long as they only replace the vanilla music files and do not overwrite any changes this patch makes via esp. Sound fx mods are also 100% compatible with the main file.

If you're looking for other options, I recommend these, which are similar:
