Changelogs
Version 2.1
A bugfix/polish update to iron out minor issues.
- Fixed snow shader issues and minor UV issues on some Dawnstar houses
- Fixed missing beams in the Dawnstar longhouse interior, and UV fixes on the exterior
- Resized and adjusted some wood beam textues in Morthal exteriors to minimize tiling and blurry textures
- Fixed wrong sided faces and holes in some wood beams
- Added missing normal maps to Morthal longhouse LOD mesh
- Fixed a bunch of seams and gaps in the Morthal longhouse interior mesh
- New TGC texture version with matching stone walls from TGC Winterhold V4
- Added missing material flag in Winterhold inn exterior mesh
- Minor wood tweak in Winterhold inn interior mesh
Version 2.0
- Every mesh has been redone, fixed and optimized (no more holes, weird shadows etc) Tri count for many meshes have been reduced, with some largely staying the same from older versions.
- Partitioned Interiors are now part of the default installation. Reason for this is to reduce my workload to produce many different versions. There should be little to no performance loss.
[Dawnstar] Further optimization and wood grain UV tweaks
[Morthal] Further optimization, remodelled many parts of the meshes, fixed all wood beam UVs and tweaked log textures
[Witnerhold] Mostly UV and vertex normal tweaks
Version 1.5.1
[COTN Dawnstar] Fixed wrong house mesh in simplicity of snow options, dawnstarhouse01.nif should be dawnstarhouse02.nif
[FOMOD] Fixed simplicity of snow options not installing correctly
Version 1.5
[COTN Morthal] Tweaked wooden texture on the frames to look more natural, the wood grain now follows the direction of the beam
[COTN Morthal] Fixed missing normal map in morthallonghouse_int.nif

About
These are a bunch of meshes from Cities of the North (CotN) that I have tweaked and optimized in Blender. This will remove a boatload of unnecessary tris and faces from the buildings of Dawnstar, Morthal and Winterhold. Includes UV tweaks, better vertex normals and adds missing normal maps.
Falkreath version is not included because the meshes are already sufficiently optimized and would see little gains from optimization.
Dawnstar meshes have the most tri count reduction, with up to 90% of tris removed from some meshes. Includes some tweaks to correct wood grain directions. Morthal meshes removes a lot of overlapping tris and made the wood grains follow the correct direction. Winterhold meshes contain mostly UV fixes and vertex normal tweaks, with some optimization on the castle meshes.
Future plans: Parallax meshes Morthal stone foundations
Installation
Simply let this mod overwrite Cities of the North (it should by default since CotN mods are packed in a BSA). Let this mod overwrite mods like Lux since my mod already includes split interior meshes.
The Winterhold meshes also work for TGC Winterhold V4. If you are using vanilla textures version, you will still need the original mod from Janquel to also cover TGC buildings. Load this mod after the TGC V4 Vanilla texture paths.
