About this mod
Opulent Thieves Guild version compatible with Distinct Interiors
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
Description:
Initially, this was supposed to be a compatibility patch between Sokkvabekk's two mods: Distinct Interiors (all-in-one) and Opulent Thieves Guild with some additional tweaks. However, while creating it, I realized that both mods use a lot of the same resources. So - since Sokkvabekk left the mod with open permissions - instead of creating the additional file, I've decided to create a reworked Opulent Thieves Guild replacer, which relies on and serves as a supplement to Distinct Interiors.
Main features and changes:

Initially, this was supposed to be a compatibility patch between Sokkvabekk's two mods: Distinct Interiors (all-in-one) and Opulent Thieves Guild with some additional tweaks. However, while creating it, I realized that both mods use a lot of the same resources. So - since Sokkvabekk left the mod with open permissions - instead of creating the additional file, I've decided to create a reworked Opulent Thieves Guild replacer, which relies on and serves as a supplement to Distinct Interiors.
Main features and changes:
- New elements introduced in Opulent Thieves Guild are switched (when it was possible) to their counterparts from Distinct Interiors.
- Some statics (mostly mead/wine bottles, food, some armors/clothes/weapons) are changed to regular items - you can now steal every mead bottle from Ragged Flagon (but you're gonna need some mule to get them out).
- Introduced two new misc items you can steal and sell (but they're rather cheap, so it's your decision if it's worth pissing off Thieves Guild).
- Restored some previously disabled vanilla items (with correction of their position if necessary).
- All items positions are thoroughly checked (with the "don't havok settle" flag enabled when necessary) so you shouldn't fall into havok chaos (but better don't shout Fus'ro'dah in the interior).
- Creaking sounds from the original OTG are removed - sorry, I didn't like them (even with update file modification).
- Erstam's treasury progression fixes are included and slightly modified in some cases.
- Some models (coin barrels, scrolls) are modified.
- All unnecessary records and assets are removed from the mod (with repacked BSA archive).
- Reworked navmesh and lighting.
- Plugin was compacted with an ESL flag set, so you'll have one more space in your load order for other mods.
- You don't need the original Opulent Thieves Guild mod nor the Update ESL patch - this one serves as a complete replacer. Since the .esp name is the same, you might receive LOOT or Vortex warnings about incompatibility between Distinct Interiors and Opulent Thieves Guild - you can safely ignore them.
Compatibility:
- Mod is compatible with every Distinct Interior's version which contains Thieves Guild cells.
- Some element's positions are modified to provide default compatibility with the following mods (just load them higher in load order to preserve cell settings from OTG): Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Additional Hearthfire Dolls, Cheesemod for EVERYONE, Mystic Condenser, Skyrim Sewers.
- Patches are provided for: Amulets of Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online Imports, Embers XD, JK's Ragged Flagon, Lux, Oblivion Artifact Pack, Skyrim's Unique Treasures, Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul.
- Patch for GG's Thieves Guild Headquarters is available here
- Mod probably won't be compatible with other Opulent Thieves Guild patches (sorry Janquel!).
- If you were using my Distinct JK's Ragged Flagon with an additional patch for Opulent Thieves Guild, you should remove it completely from the load order - it is redundant as all its edits are available (with some modifications) in the patch for JK's Ragged Flagon available here.
