I suggest loading your entire order in xEdit and run check for errors.

Yea I did that, nothing really major or applies to this mod. I'd be happy to supply any log file or anything you want if others are reporting this. Its probably something I have in my list thats messing with your mod here. I dont really have the time or patience to find out what it is lmao....

If it's not crashing, you'll have no helpful log file. I have no idea what might cause this on your end.

OK, but only as Xbox port. I don't allow sharing PC version of my mods anywhere besides Nexus.

sorry to be a bother but please can you help me with the exact load order for this and the required mods (and jks ragged flagon) and its patches? i currently have a few floating light sources and a couple of CTDs and i can't work out how to fix it!

Load order of the mod and patches are mostly irrelevant - all patches are load order agnostic. You should remember to load Lux patch as the last one. If you still encounter some elements out of place, check them with More Informative Console - it will indicate which mod touches them as the last one. To indicate the culprit of the crashes, you need to verify the crash log (from .Net Script Framework or Crash Logger - depending on which version of the game you use)

I noticed that the wooden bridge (from JK's ragged flaggon) that leads from ratway door to ragged flagon (over the pond like thing) is missing. I am using distinct opulent thieves guild and patches and gg's thieves guild along with JK's ragged flagon. Is this supposed to be the case?

Everything is correct, don't worry. The bridge and a bunch of other stuff) will appear on further stages of your Thieves Guild status progression.

Does this work with Sneak Tools, I know Opulent Thieves Guild Orignal needed a patch to work and I'm wondering the same for this.

Tbh, I can't remember if I checked it. I'm adding it to the worklist, but I can't determine when it happens

Is it mandatory to download the distinct interiors aoi package? Could I also just download the modular guilds one?

The form ids may/may not be different.  This file was built against the AIO file so that is the only version of DI that is officially working with Distinct Opulent.

I just checked and it seemed fine from first glance. I am using this together with gg's thieves guild headquarters and visually, it seemed fine. Would it be possible for the modular version to for example, break quests, crash the game, not loading certain objects etc. or would they all be like some small bugs that I can also just ignore

I've never used the modular build of Distinct so I cannot speak to that.  But if it does have issues regardless of small or large that is a reason to specifically use the full primary build of Distinct Interiors which I would recommend anyway

Currently I am using all of jk's interior overhauls so its not compatible with the aio version of the distinct interiors. I'd rather just use the jk's ones instead of having to delete all of them just for this one mod to work. Ill try it out and see if I come across any major bugs

Any overlap between JKs and DI has already been patched by Czasior, look at his profile.

Because loot is loudly yelling at me about patches (and I like to double check to make sure I'm understanding properly), the following patches are no longer necessary/incompatible?

    Additional Hearthfire Dolls
    Cheesemod for Everyone
JK's Ragged Flagon  -- (I am using the JK's patch from this mod page)
    Skyrim Sewers 4
    USSEP
    FPS Fix
    Update ESL Patch

Mod's description already provides the answer to the big part of your question:
Some elements positions are modified to provide default compatibility with the following mods (just load them higher in load order to preserve cell settings from OTG): Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Cheesemod for EVERYONE, Mystic Condenser, Skyrim Sewers.Patches are provided for: Amulets of Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online Imports, Embers XD, JK's Ragged Flagon, Lux, Oblivion Artifact Pack, Skyrim's Unique Treasures, Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul.

Additional Hearthfire Dolls is compatible by default.

If a patch is provided here you don't need any other counterpart from different sites. So, you don't need another patches for JK's Ragged Flagon.

FPS Fix mesh changes are compatible, but not the .esp file (which switches the barrels). It won't work with my Opulent Thieves Guild version.

Most of the Update ESL Patch changes are included, so it's not needed anymore - I've just updated the mod's description.

Thank you very much for the kind reply!  I sometimes find things I think I understand, I'm not actually understanding correctly so like to ask.

TY for this reply Czasior (and for ALL your amazing JK-DI mods of course)
BTW, even if you provided a very... "distinct" and precise description, I must admit that like pvpgirl, it took me a long time to figure out which esp I had to keep between those from
      -OTG and D-OTG
      -JK
      -Dist. Int.
In fact you're absolutly right, its really easy ; but between mods, ESPs, patches and LOOT telling to search for more patches... even reading carefully each mod description, some dark areas remain

Just hope that LOOT will be updated so it stops telling us to add more not-needed patches

Hello- thanks for sharing! I am trying to get this going and I am a little new to modding. I am getting an alert in Vortex when I download and install DI and DOTG saying "distinct interiors.esp is incompatible with OpulentThievesGuild.esp". Obviously you designed them to work together. Any advice? Thank you!

Yes, my OTG version is designed to work based on Distinct Interiors. So, there's only one advice: ignore the Vortex' alert.

Is it possible to also get the Sewers of Skyrim and ELFX+Embers XD patches from Janquel reworked for DOTG?

you don't need this if you use this mod, right? or do they complement each other?

Mods are complementary (at least in terms of meshes), but the optional SMIM plugin might not be fully compatible.

OK, OK, fine!  You convinced me!  I installed Distinct Interiors, and SFCO, mods I had avoided for a long time because they looked too intimidating to patch into compatibility with a bunch of other mods.  I hope you're happy!

Thanks though, seriously, all these patches and remakes look like an amazing amount of work.  LOOT throws up the dreaded red because it says Distinct Interiors and Opulent Thieves Guild are not compatible, but I assume that's because yours has the same ESP name as the original.

As Thieves Guild is fully patched and I consider it complete, other cells modified by Distinct Interiors needs a patching with SFCO and many other mods. I'm already working on it, but it'll take a while.

Regarding LOOT - with latest version of the main file you'll see red only on Distinct Interiors. For OTG problem is resolved :)
