- BOOKS OF WISDOM-

Do you like being rewarded for exploring and your character receiving some permanent extra buffs? Yes? Me too! That's what this mod is made for.

First, I'd like to warn you:

This is my first created mod. It's heavily inspired by Passive Spell Tomes which is a great mod doing exactly the same as my mod does, just in an in my opinion unbalanced and according to some comments buggy way.

What are these books of wisdom?

The books of wisdom are lost relics from past times, scattered around Skyrim. Reading a book of wisdom provides knowledge about its topic, which can be enchanting, the use of a specific weapon type, the leveling of a specific skill, the brewing of potions and many more. The books appear randomly in some containers like chests, urns or barrels with a chance of 1% to 3%. Most effects are very weak and the rarity of books is very high to prevent unbalancing the game.

Compatibility, Bugs & Issues:

- About 70 containers modifed. Conflicts are expected and patches needed. I don't provide any patches (Ok, I did, but just for LOTD because it is used by so many people an can't be loaded after my mod) , because I expect too many conflicting mods. If you add my mod high up (low priority) in your load order, the worst thing possible to happen is that you will not find any of my books. Nothing game breaking.

Known conflicting mods:
Spoiler:
Show

- LOTD (Patch provided in optional files)
- Lock Related Loot
- Treasure Hunter for SSE
- Dynamic Dungeon Loot
- Passive Spell Tomes

No other vanilla records modified.

- It's an .esp flagged esl so it won't use one of your valuable esp slots

- Buffs are constant magic effects and won't be dispelled. No actor values are directly modified

- Every effect is displayed under "active effects". Reading every book will result over 100 additional effects in your active effects menu
