  • If you use, like and value my work, please consider giving an endorsement. I've worked hard for years to offer you the best of me for free, and the only thing I ask in return is this gesture, which increases my relevance and engagement on Nexus, and motivates me to continue;
  • I do not inspect or have any influence over translations of my mods (including those linked directly on my pages), nor do I have any power over patches or add-ons made to my content. So, before using any unofficial add-ons for my mods, make sure they conform to the latest version of my official release, and never use these if they don't. The same applies to Xbox ports;

"Dwarven Power Armors are unique bulky multifaceted heavy suits developed by the Dwemer and powered by Aetherium crystals. According to the Dwarves' archives, they were created in the Aetherium Forge by the Dwemer race over 4,000 years ago. They had several impressive protective attributes, temporarily transforming the user into an unstoppable battle tank: when wearing the armor, the Dwemer had access to considerably improved strength, full protection from disease or poison, in addition to relative protection against magic, and of course, the physical protection that the heavy armor provided due to its density. As a disadvantage, it prevented rapid movements and actions that required minute delicacy. The user also had two large oxygen tanks on his back, which allowed for underwater breathing. The Aetherium crystals served as a powerful infinite battery, which operated the armor's mechanisms, similar to the autonomous functioning of an Automaton.

With the disappearance of the Dwemer, after an indefinite time, most of the Power Armors were re-signified by the machinery of repairing, and transformed into Automatons, which makes their use impossible today. There are however reports of some Power Armors remaining untouched, often being sold on the black market for unimaginable prices."

Technical details: (spoilers ahead)

  • Where to find? - It can be acquired by defeating the Thalmor General Halidil, who has located and is wearing one of these armors, along with several Thalmor soldiers, inside Mzulft. He also carries a Dwarven Aetherial Battlehammer and an Aetherial Shield;

  • How it works?- This armor is classified as heavy, and is available as a complete single piece, not being divided into parts. When using it, the slots for helmet, gauntlets, boots and cuirass will be occupied. When equipping the armor, you gain 60 extra points of unarmed damage, 40 extra points of melee damage in general, unlimited underwater breathing, 50 points of additional damage resistance on top of the armor's basic protection, 100% resistance to poisons and diseases, and an extra 40 points of protection against magic. As a disadvantage, your speed will be reduced by 50% and your stamina will not regenerate while you are wearing the suit. The lockpick skill will be impaired by 90%. The armor is unisex, and can be worn by both genders, by all vanilla races and can be improved by traditional means.

*check out the Known Issues section of this page for last technical details

- 1 new heavy armor: Dwarven Power Armor (available as a complete single piece,
not being divided into parts, for lore and gameplay reasons)
;

- 1 new weapon: Dwarven Aetherial Battlehammer (in game description:
"Enemies hit by the Aetherium-powered hammer are temporarily stunned")

- 1 optional way of accessing the Aetherial Shield

Playable races added via mod may not be compatible with this armor, requiring patch.
(OBS- If by chance when installing several of Mihail's mods at the same time you are asked about files overwriting those of other Mihail mods or other authors mods, don't worry because they are just the same files shared between mods. I recommend that on these occasions always give preference to the files contained in my mods, and among mine always give preference to the mod you are installing last.)

For reasons unknown and so far unresolvable: by unequipping the armor and going naked instead of directly replacing it with another set, your character continues to have the additional protection value offered by the armor, even if you are no longer wearing it (but without access to their special attributes). To solve this, simply equip any other piece of armor or clothing, and everything will return to normal, including allowing you to go back to being naked without having the protection of the armor you are no longer wearing.

The Mihail Armors and Clothes series provides high quality and immersive armor, clothing and other accessories, especially aiming to bring unique and rarely produced content in this area already so explored by many other authors.
