Could there be a patch for northern farmhouses? Occlusion problems. Faendal house disappears and reappears so as the wood logs near the windmill. I don't think mod is publically available.

This mod is a disaster! The Riverwood Trader is completely destroyed. When you enter the shop, you fall through the floor and can't get out. Totally incompatible with everything about Riverwood. For example, the forge is duplicated, various places in the mod are not present or are there where other objects are.
Uninstalling the mod requires a full reinstallation of Dyndolod.

A bit harsh opinion, don't you think? Incompatibility with other mods doesn't mean the mod is a "disaster". What did you expect from such a significant rework of the area? Do you think that COTN or The Great Cities series are a "disaster" because these mods are also massively incompatible with others at their base? "Uninstalling the mod requires a full reinstallation of Dyndolod" - bollocks, you don't have to reinstall DynDOLOD, but - which is obvious for every big town/city overhaul - you need to regenerate your LODs. Duh!

I suggest you take a deep breath, calm down a bit and think next time if and how you want to express your feelings about the mod which most probably consumed dozens of hours of the author's life.

The problem is that many objects are not in the right place in this mod. For example, the forge is duplicated, lanterns dangle in the air, the entrances have dark holes instead of doors, doors hang offset and crooked, others can't be opened. But the worst thing of all is that Rivewood Trader is a complete disaster. If you enter the store, you fall through the floor or get stuck in the false ceiling. Once you've freed yourself, you can't leave the room because the doors won't open.... etc.
Surely all this is about incompatibilities with other mods, e.g. JK's, Skyland AIO or HS,
This is an in-depth revision of Riverwood and its surroundings. It should therefore be inserted into existing modlists with great care.
But there are no hints in the description! This is annoying and urgently needs to be improved.
It took me many houres to restore my Skyrim with a total of 12005 mods. Considering this, my criticism doesn't seem too harsh.
All the more, so as I have refrained from any personal hostility or disrespect for the author.

All the issues you mention are caused by interaction with other mods. With thousands of mods we have available, incompatibilities are inevitable. If there were none, I wouldn't have to create and publish all these patch collections :P. Yeah, the author forgot to add information about potential incompatibility with other mods affecting Riverwood town or interiors. But (and don't get me wrong, this isn't aimed at you personally, but more of a general observation after years in this community), it's the users' responsibility to check if the new mod they want to add to their load order won't cause some issues. Of course, there is a bunch of stuff you won't notice without taking a look under the hood, but in this case, simply looking at screenshots tells us that the layout of the town and the buildings themselves are modified significantly. This means that probably every mod which adds/modifies something in the city (e.g. JK's Skyrim or HS Interiors) might cause issues. Therefore, until the patches are made, Schlitzohr's mod won't fit well into the big load orders with multiple location overhauls. But, still, this doesn't mean it's a disaster.

Being such an experienced modder (aka having huge LO) and have such opinion is a disaster. How could you install a mod, that provides screenshots and has a lot of comments from other users about compatibilities and incompatibilities and then come cry here is beyond me. Can you hear yourself? There is enough information everywhere around this mod, yet you chose to grab and drop.

People like Czasior help us to get the best from reworks of different areas but nobody is obliged to do so. Your attitude is the reason a lot of talented mod authors left the community.

Not to add fuel to the fire but LITERALLY 99% of occlusion, duplicates, floating objects is user error/load order so to call the mod a disaster when you obv just dont know how to mod properly is wild

And this here is why so many mod creators have such a hard time...............................dealing with this sort of whinging behaviour. You obviously are having load order issues etc.

I just removed Ryn's Riverwood mods. The cause of this issue is mods that already affect the interiors. Don't complain too quickly and always remember which mod affect each mod you have, so you don't give mod authors a hard time. I'm still waiting for a northern road patch. 😞

Would it be possible to get an optional update that allows the claiming of Impostor's Shelter as a player home after clearing it? I love that little mountain camp!

Not sure if it's a bug or just the AI in my game being aggressive, but one of the two quests in the mountains didn't trigger. I got the witch's quest just fine but the other wouldn't start. I'm assuming the disguised bandits were supposed to initiate dialogue, but they attacked me on sight.

@Schlitzor, I would consider giving Northwind a buff. It's a great weapon, especially early game, but the enchantment runs out way too quickly.

    All in all, great mod!

Hello there! The concept of this mod is amazing! I think this and Jk's Riverwood are two of the best mods for an area so iconic for many of us! There was EtaC but I haven't that one installed in a while...

    Anyway,
I'm running into a few issues! Does this mod change any interiors?
For example, Alvor and Sigrid's house is messed up...it looks like when I had Jk's Skyrim,  Dawn of Skyrim (Director's cut) , The Great Cities,  Cities of the North, Lux Via, Lux Orbis, Lux and  Northern Roads installed without following their requirements:

    ✅ A clean save
    ✅ A lot of patches
    ✅ Correct load order

And it is pretty dark, too, I barely could see anything in there!

Currently I've got  Ryn's Alvor and Sigrid's House and I really would like to keep it. An alternative for me is HS Riverwood -  Alvor and Sigrid's House

Is there any version of this mod that does not change the interiors?

    My thanks!

P.s.  I've got Animated Carriage + Animated Carriages Additional Route, too. Is that a problem?

Hey there! I really enjoy your mod, though I have to do the quests yet. Here's what I appreciate most:
    - the little hut on the island for the apothecary - great concept and I laughed my ass of when I heard Alvor talk to her. :D
    - the style of the houses is similar to Falkreath from Cities of the North which makes perfect sense as both places are in similar environment and rather close to each other
    - the use of the new walls for storage and their wooden style
    - the enhanced farms
    - your Riverwood is not overly loaded with walkways and clutter yet adds impactful things and thoughtful detail
    - love the stone arch to the river island
-giving Embry some background and using it to worldbuild and connect Riverwood and Falkreath
-the upper part of Alvors house makes it the visual center of Riverwood and adds greatyl to the vertical and overall layout of the village!

Some thoughts and ideas for further development if you don't mind:
-Where do Lucan and Camilla sleep? Now there's no upper level to their house and I found no beds for them...
-Behind Hlothilds farm you made a gap through the rocks...somehow the walls lose their purpose if you could simply walk around them. However, maybe there's use of this gap further down the questline?
-the place around the Shrine of Kynareth behind the inn is somewhat empty as well as the part where the stone wall once stood. Maybe you could fill it fittingly? The farms could make use of a small millstone worked by hand (not a large windmill, wouldn't fit the atmosphere of the place)
    Great work, keep it up!

Edit: Found the basement in the trader's. So nevermind that point. The candle lights in the middle of the room are hangig bit low, though and my tall Nord just got a headache ;)

      Thanks for the feedback.

-There is a basement area with beds for Lucan and Camilla.
-Yeah, maybe I close the gap in a update.
-I think I will add a millstone at Gerdur and Hod's house, since they are the only ones with wheat. I didn't have a good idea for that area, but lately I thought about putting a small butchery area there.

Yeah, I found the basement for Lucan after thoroughly searching...my fault.
I like the idea of a butchery area, would add to the agricultural flair of the town.
      Another idea:
As Alvors house has this new height, what about a second floor where Hadvar and the player could rest after escaping Helgen?

Some NPC seem to have problems with the navmesh?
-mother of Sven (forgot her name) in front of her house, running into a wooden post.
-Faendal standing on some rocks beneath his tower, doing nothing (early in the morning almost until midday).

It's available on Lux Discord, probably GGUNIT will add it with the next update of Lux Patch Hub.

Very nice mod but there seem to be some bugs.  I walk into the Riverwood Trader and there is a fire floating in the air.  I will wait for patch updates.

Same issue. Just to be sure, I turned off every other Riverwood mod, started a new save and still encountered this. One of the best Riverwood overhauls I've ever seen though. Just needs some ironing.

The floating fire is caused by Embers XD.  There's a patch included in the Embers XD fomod.
