About this mod

LoreRim is a Wabbajack modlist utilizing an integration of mods such as Attack - MCO, Requiem and MUCH MUCH more. Most importantly, it makes Skyrim the game it should've been in 2011 with the visuals of today.

I often stream/make videos about my list On Youtube

PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING

FULL LOAD ORDER HERE: LoreRim - Load Order Library

1.) Follow The Wabbajack Installation Guide to avoid any installation issues
2.) If you do run into issues come visit us at our
Discord
3.) DO NOT bother the Requiem mod team about troubleshooting issues. Even if you think your issue is due to Requiem or another mod, we handle all of our support internally and other discords will likely either turn you to us or disregard your help question entirely.
4.) We do not handle support in the comment section here. Again, visit our Discord or Help Pages above for support
5.) This modlist requires a LEGITIMATE copy of Skyrim Anniversary Edition (upgrade) and Steam version 1.6.1170. The modlist will auto-downgrade to 1.5.97 and is self-contained through the use of a Stock Game Folder.
6.) Grab the unofficial Skyrim SE Controller Mapping for LoreRim here if you plan on using controller. After 1.0RC I'll integrate this into the modlist. Thank you to  thedudestandard.

What is LoreRim?
LoreRim is my vision to turn Skyrim into both a modern action game as well as re-introduce roleplaying mechanics through the integration of many of EnaiSiaion's (EnaiRim) Mods as well as Requiem - The Roleplaying Overhaul. This modlist will automatically install for you through the use of Wabbajack. Most importantly, EVERY single aspect of the game has been overhauled and modernized. This is Skyrim in 2024. Cities are bigger. Forests are lush. Enemies and areas from previous games are re-introduced. Here are some of the most important mods you should know about:

  • Modern Combat, Animations & Gameplay
Attack - MCO as well as First Person Stances have been added that should satisfy both Third and First Person players. Every swing should feel more visceral. Weapons will have realistic hit collisions. Requiem's default weapon perks have been reworked to fit the new mechanics of MCO and The Ultimate Dodge Mod. LITERALLY THOUSANDS of new animations have been added for combat, idles, movement, immersive interactions and much more.

  • Graphical Changes
The graphics of Skyrim have been completely overhauled. Atlantean Landscape - Complete- Complex Terrain Parallax serves as a visual baseline. Every city has been retextured and expanded. Forests are much denser. ENB Lights are added on as many things as possible. Most of the important landscape and architecture meshes have added parallax. Weathers are much more diverse. Lighting is made to be more realistic. Every region of Skyrim has increased biodiversity and overhauled aesthetics. EVEN THE ICE IS NICE.

  • New Weapons, Armor, & Clothing
Every new equipment addition has a basis in the lore. You'll find weapon types that were present in Morrowind & Daggerfall such as Halberds, Spears, Wands. All vanilla clothing has been modernized whilst new armor and clothing pieces have been added to match Skyrim's theme. Nothing added should look out of place for Elder Scrolls fans. This modlist tries to remain true to the lore.

  • New Quests, Followers & Lands
Quests have been massively expanded where possible. Every guild questline is now more logical and in-depth. Several vanilla quest expansions have been added and patched together. Multiple new bandit camps and minor dungeons have been spread across Skyrim. Several old cities that were present in TES Arena have been added. No DLC-sized quest mods have been added as these usually take various liberties in what they consider to be "lore friendly". Popular followers such as Lucien and Remiel have been added so that you don't face the harsh wilds alone.

  • Immersive Features
LoreRim takes a streamlined approach to survival and immersion. Where possible, menus have been avoided. Survival is enabled by default, fast travel is only possible via carriages and travel packs. Food has a chance to be spoiled in containers. On top of everything, NPCs will be much more dynamic and have scheduled for traveling, working, leisure and animations to go alongside these things. Improved Camera allows for animations to play in first person. Creatures, objects and even structures will be diversified with mods such as Base Object Swapper.

  • Stability, Balance, Bug Fixes, & Performance Improvement
As many bug fixes have been included as possible. HUNDREDS of things have been patched for consistency. Of course, you will probably encounter bugs but reporting them in Discord will help the modlist process along. The Imperial City wasn't build in a day.

Regarding performance, this modlist is VERY intensive and will require a good setup to run. These are my unofficial recommendations:

1080P: RTX 3070 or AMD equivalent.
1440P: RTX 3080ti or AMD equivalent.
4k: RTX 4080 or AMD equivalent.
    RAM: 16GB DDR4
CPU: 11th-gen i7 or AMD equivalent
System Space: ABSOLUTELY MUST BE INSTALLED ON SSD. Download Size ~250GB. Install Size ~250GB. Total ~500GB.
