Here is a quick video showing Nabhani in action. The first half is a short clip exploring a dungeon, the second is just testing her follower dialogue.

About

Caravaneers adds two new Khajiit followers that you can recruit after doing short misc quests for them. Dra'zhaia, a fierce and battle-hardened old warrior, can be found with Ri'saad's caravan travelling between Whiterun and Markarth. Nabhani, a ranger with a youthful desire for adventure, can be found with Ma'dran's caravan, which travels between Windhelm and Solitude.

They were designed from the ground up to be as vanilla-like as possible, so don't expect anything fancy like in other follower mods. However if you're like me and love the vanilla followers then hopefully you will find it enjoyable.

I always thought it was a shame how under-developed the Khajiit were in Skyrim, when ESO gets characters like Razum-dar and Khamira. This is especially evident in Khajiit women, which there are literally like 10 of in the whole game. Their voicetype has neither follower nor marriage dialogue and none are a large part of any quest. This does mean the available dialogue for me to work with was pretty scarce, but I really hope I've achieved my goal of adding a bit more of Elsweyr to Skyrim in a vanilla way.

To access these followers quickly for testing purposes, and make them immediately recruitable via console commands, follow the steps in the spoiler below.
Spoiler:
Show

1. From the main menu, open the console and type, without the quotes, "coc salviusfarmexterior01" for Dra'zhaia's location, or "coc windhelmbridge02" for Nabhani's. This will immediately start a new game and teleport you into the world, skipping Helgen entirely.
2. For Dra'zhaia, head to the east just over the wall and you should see Ri'saad's caravan at their spawn point on the road. They will begin to walk south and then over the bridge eastward. For Nabhani, just south of you at the bottom of the stairs is the spawn point of Ma'dran's caravan. They will begin travelling west toward the smaller bridge.
3. But before approaching them, open the console again and type "setstage kf_recruitquest2 35" (Dra'zhaia) or "setstage kf_recruitquest 20" (Nabhani). This will skip the recruitment quest so you can make them your follower instantly.

Follower details
Both followers will level up alongside the player to a maximum of level 50. Dra'zhaia is a CombatWarrior1H class and wears the Banded Iron set, wielding a Steel sword and shield. Nabhani is a CombatRanger and wears the Leather set with an Orcish Bow. Though you can of course give them any equipment you like, Dra'zhaia favours heavy armour and Nabhani light. They both have the Light Foot perk so they won't set off traps, as well as a few basic perks that complement their respective classes.

Both followers use the vanilla femalekhajiit voicetype and so will say many of the same lines as Ahkari and Ra'zhinda, etc. However, I have expanded this voicetype by creating 95 custom spliced lines as well as repurposing some vanilla lines too. Many of these are unique to Dra'zhaia or Nabhani to give them each a unique personality. With these lines I've made full follower dialogue including commands, and quest dialogue for their recruitment quests, as well as new hellos, goodbyes, idles, and combat lines (all of these only apply to the new followers; vanilla NPCs using the voicetype are left alone).

I've also hooked them into the vanilla follower commentary system, which are separate from idles. Idles will trigger anywhere and anytime when their conditions are met, but the commentary lines are the ones your follower are guaranteed to say at specific points across the map. They fall into 3 categories: dungeon entrances, impressive views, and danger ahead. Note that actual idles in this mod are a bit scarce at the moment, but I do plan to flesh them out a bit if I can.

High quality facetints
Default facetints are included in the main file - these are vanilla quality facetints generated straight from the CK. Optionally, you can use the HQ Facetints instead, found under optional files. These were hand painted by me to closely match vanilla style but at a higher quality, and will go nicely with High Quality FaceTints for Vanilla NPCs. I recommend using this option unless you are doing loads of custom stuff with advanced appearance mods, in which case you'll want to generate your own facegen for these NPCs.

------------------------------------------------------

Installation
First install the main file with your mod manager. If you are using the HQ Facetints, make sure that it's placed after the main file. Finally, ensure the .esp loads before any mods that edit the Skyrim worldspace in your plugin list.

Compatibility
Caravaneers edits the Skyrim worldspace records at Salvius Farm (outside Markarth) and near Windhelm stables, but it's just where I've placed the NPCs in the world and no actual edits were made. As mentioned above, simply load the Caravaneers .esp before any mods that edit these cells and there'll be no issues.

I don't personally use any of the advanced follower framework mods so I can't say how they will interact. Caravaneers was developed on vanilla and is intended to be used on vanilla+ modlists. The follower system used is a kind of hybrid between vanilla and custom, so things might be wonky with those kinds of mods, but again I don't really know. I encourage you to try things out anyway, it can't do any harm.

Should be compatible with everything else, no other vanilla records were touched besides the two worldspace edits.
