Oblivion

About this mod

A compilation of all my town mods, including New Rumare and Topal's Rest at their relocated, er, locations. The town compilation also contains a few additions/modifications across a few of the towns. Cleaned w/ TES4edit. I will almost certainly not make any more town mods in the future. Should be compatible w/ UL and BC (load after BC).

This mod is a compilation of all the town mods I've made for oblivion:

New Rumare Relocated (which itself includes a few of my other misc mods merged into it - see linked mod description)
Fanesreach
Wealdrest Village
Atrene Village
Nonwyll Village
Bluethorn Village
Variela Village
Topal's Rest Village
Skymarch Village
Sejanus Village

The only changes to the towns are as follows:

All towns: (Update 1.12) Checked every merchant added by the mod, fixed a few merchants not having merchant containers

New Rumare: A new ship belonging to the Blades is docked at New Rumare - the Niben Navigator. The lower deck has a bed that the player may use - all 3 containers in the very same room as that bed are safe for storage. The ship can only be accessed by members of the Blades.

(Update 1.2.2) Added a rigged transitus shrine to New Rumare, between the general store and guildmasters' manor. Use the shrine to conveniently summon all the followers added by this mod (You must have talked to them at least once and met the requirements for following before they will be summoned; see appendix A below). Use the shrine again to conveniently dismiss them all (shrine usage will alternate between summoning/dismissing the followers).

Eld Aranegoria (Update 1.4.8): A small daedric shrine ruin that's been added to the tunnel connecting New Rumare and the mainland (closer to the side of the mainland). It contains quite a few leveled daedra and some nice loot. Do note that you may not leave the tomb unless the daedra are at peace (i.e., not in combat/no combat music playing; if the daedra are fighting amongst themselves but not you, you may also leave, infighting is a natural part of daedra anyway) - you have to eliminate all the daedra or be completely undetected before leaving, so be careful!

(Update 1.5.2) Added a small stable to the entrance to New Rumare Tunnel; tunnel now also connects to Variela, thus connecting lands east and west of the niben bay

(Update 1.5.3) Added a new chalice to gorlash house - activate it to gain the lesser power "voice of sheogorath" (same effect as staff of sheogorath)

(Updare 1.5.4) Added a new shop (Shiver-Me-Seamsters) to New Rumare selling different types of cheeses (alchemical ingredients/food), various shivering goods, and enchanted shivering clothing. In addition, all followers added by this mod will now ignore crimes committed (0 responsibility).

Fanesreach: A small lighthouse and separate quarters for the steward. The steward's spouse sells a collection of different items added by the various town mods.

(Update 1.2.3) Added eastern walls to Fanesreach, along with a sheep farm and clothmor shop branch that sells only non-shivering-isles clothmor. There are 3 chests on the first floor of the shop that contain Blades clothmor, Imperial Dragon clothmor and Blackwood Company clothmor - become a blade, the champion of cyrodiil, and fighters' guild master (respectively) in order to access the respawning clothmor in these chests.

(Update 1.5): Adds a shield shop to Fanesreach (Silverfish Shields) ; merchant sells a combination of vanilla enchanted shields and shields with new enchantments added by this mod. The new enchanted shields all have the same base properties as daedric/glass shields (for heavy/light shields respectively)

(Update 1.5.5): Added Silver Dragon House to Fanesreach - only accessible if player is champion of cyrodiil AND/OR the burgrave of fanesreach; house has a master archery trainer and a spell + goods merchant. The house has an upper level, sleeping quarters and basement. ONLY THE SLEEPING QUARTERS HAS SAFE STORAGE; the usable player bed with the kvatch insignia only appears once you actually become the champion of cyrodiil and re-enter the house. The lever next to the main entrance locks and unlocks the door. The house contains an alchemy station, altars of spellmaking and enchanting, and a repair and recharge station.

Atrene: A gemstone mine has been added. As with the other mines added by my towns, you may freely mine the respawning veins for various gemstones.

(Update 1.3) Fixed minor bug: desk on level 1 of atrene villa (player house) no longer respawns

Nonwyll: A corn farm has been added.

Topal's Rest: A fisherwoman's hut and small fishing area has been added. The fisherwoman is a respawning generic NPC with her own daily schedule.

(Update 1.3.1) Topalview now has an alchemical station.

Skymarch: A greenhouse with vegetables and sheep has been added. Though harvesting the crops counts as stealing, the farmers have 0 responsibility and thus will not report crimes.

(Update 1.4.9) Added Shady Cabin (Fence) to Skymarch. Only accessible after you attain the rank of cat burglar in the thieves' guild.

Bluethorn: (Update 1.1) Bluethorn Mercenary Lodging added. Use the contract book on the second floor of the player house and spend an additional 25,000 gold to hire a pair of mercenary followers (one-time fee); the followers are leveled and essential followers with 0 responsibility, and are only available for hire after you spend the contract money (obviously)

Sejanus: (Update 1.1) The steward now has a separate cottage to live in

(Update 1.3) Adds alchemical station to player house basement

(Update 1.4.9) Added Deeta-Ei's house (Fence) to Sejanus. Only accessible after you attain the rank of cat burglar in the thieves' guild. Fence's house contains a bed for the player and 2 safe containers directly next to the bed (see screenshots for info)

Wealdrest: (Update 1.2) Adds Butler's Quarters to the player house (WARNING - THE CONTAINERS IN THE BUTLER'S QUARTERS RESPAWN, unlike the other rooms in the house). The door to the quarters are directly in front of the entrance to the house. The Butler offers repair and recharge services, and is also a follower (he continues to offer recharge and repair services when he follows you). The cupboard that used to be in the place of the door to the Butler's Quarters has been moved to the top of the stairs.

Variela: (Update 1.2.1) Adds Larsius Lodge, a house occupied by a fence who's also a blade. You can only access the lodge, and her fence services, if you're a member of the blades (i.e. you may use her services regardless of thieves' guild membership - you only need to be a blade). The ground floor contains a player owned bed, and the 2 drawers right next to the bed are safe for storage; everything else in the lodge respawns.

There are also 2 new towns added by this mod

The town of Glademist (v1.3), located directly above Glademist Cave:

Administration tower: location of the guards and governor, who sells the deed to Autumnal Abode for 24,680 base gold. The governor also sells eternal torches (they last indefinitely) for 100 base gold each.

Glademist Guildhouse: location of the guilds, offering the usual services of the typical guildhouses of my towns

Orange Oratory: the local shrine

Boreal Brews: an indoor vinyard/brewing operation with the governor's wife selling various alcoholic items

Autumnal Abode: player house with enchanting/spellmaking stations (only if player has
access to the arcane university) and an alchemical station. All
containers are safe for storage

Breeze Sentry Lodge: A lodge that can only be used by Blades, offering recharge/repair services
and selling blades and other equipment and magical items (again,
typical of the towns in the mod). The second level offers a free bed for
the player, and the 2 closest containers to that bed are safe for
storage.

(Update 1.3.2) There is also an external tower with beautiful views of the cyrodiilic countryside.

Northlodge
: The local fence's house; he offers his services only to thieves of cat burglar rank and above, similar to
the other fence houses in the other towns of the mod.

Stonemasons and Carpentry (Update 1.4.6 & 1.4.7): Purely cosmetic buildings. Has stonemasons/carpenters working on statues/furniture inside.

The town of Peakside (v1.4), located southeast of hermaeus mora's shrine:

Castle: purchase the deed to the player house from the viscount, base price 43,658. The viscountess is a fence, but only offers her services to thieves of cat burglar rank and above

The guilds are their own rooms within the castle, and offer similar services to the other guild outposts throughout this mod's towns. Guild lodgings are a separate area within the castle. You may enter and use a bed if you are a member of either the fighter's or mage's guild, but there's no safe storage within.

Peakside dragonguard is the local blades chapter, selling equipment and spells. There is a player-owned bed within, and the 3 containers right besides the bed are safe for storage.

There is a small gemstone mine within the castle. You may freely mine the respawning veins for gems.

The peakside priory is the local shrine, with a cleric selling the usual cleric spells. The peakside greenhouse is next door. Harvesting the plants within is considered stealing, but the farmers have no responsibility so they won't care.

Montane Manor is the player house with a nice balcony area overlooking the colovian highlands, and a view of the imperial city. The house is accessed through a side tower in front of the priory.

Peakside Tomb (v1.4.1) is a very small tomb dungeon right next to Peakside Castle, containing quite a few leveled undead and some nice loot. Do note that you may not leave the tomb unless the dead are at peace (i.e., not in combat/no combat music playing) - you have to eliminate all the undead or be completely undetected before leaving, so be careful!

V1.4.3 adds a Peakside mercenary; purchase the mercenary contract inside Peakside castle (it's on a table next to the left wall) for 15,000 gold to access the mercenary tower and utilize his services.

V1.4.4 adds an Office of Imperial Commerce to Peakside, which sells the same items and trinkets that the Fanesreach branch does.

V1.4.5 adds a Clothmor Shop to Peakside, selling non-shivering-isles clothmor. As with the other Clothmor shops, there are 3 chests that contain Blades  clothmor, Imperial Dragon clothmor and Blackwood Company clothmor - become a blade, the champion of cyrodiil, and fighters' guild master (respectively) in order to access the respawning clothmor in these chests.

Appendix A: All followers added by this mod

New Rumare Stewards: Become archmage to get Okan-Liurz to follow you, master for Phedrasa
Fanesreach Followers: Purchase the title of Burgrave/Burgravine from the Fanesreach Steward to access the followers
Bluethorn Mercenaries: Purchase the mercenary contract inside the Bluethorn player house (you must purchase the player house first) for 25,000 to access the mercenary lodge and use their services
Wealdrest Butler: Purchase the wealdrest player home to access his services.
Peakside Mercenary: Purchase the mercenary contract inside Peakside castle (it's on a table next to the left wall) for 15,000 gold to access the tower and utilize his services.

As of V1.5.4, all followers have 0 responsibility (ignore crimes committed)
