What's this then?
A fairly simple solution to an annoyance of mine for the past few months; that of weapons breaking in 10 shots when using ROOG.
ROOG is a great mod, increasing the difficulty of the game in a fair and interesting way, and restoring some of Fallout 3's difficullty settings that were inexplicably removed in New Vegas. There is a problem however, as weapon health needs to scale accordingly with a weapon's per-shot damage to ensure that high damage weapons don't disintegrate in your hands. This is not an issue with the base TTW weapons, as their health values are adjusted by the mod itself, but it also means that any weapon mods added to the user's load order also require patching... And nobody has time for that!
What this mod does:
Thanks to the help of the lovely Sweet6Shooter, a script runs once per game as you enter your main menu - grabbing a list of all weapons in the game and multiplying their health values according to the keyword they're assigned.
Additionally, two more toggleable changes can also be applied - one buffing the critical damage of weapons in the Shotgun Surgeon formid list to be the same as their base damage, mimicking similar buffs from ROOG, and an adjustable weapon value reduction to ameliorate any dissonance between the adjusted TTW pricings of vanilla weapons and those of modded ones (the default price reduction is 40%). This reduction only applies to weapons over 2500 caps in value (though this threshold is also adjustable).
