DISCLAIMER: This is important, please read in full. Without spoiling too much of the plot, you should know that both this mod and the character Medic deal with some dark themes. It's well balanced with humor and wholesomeness sprinkled throughout, but if you're dealing with substance abuse issues, trauma (specifically loss), and/or depression in real life - please, tread with caution. Another important thing to note is that I, DexMods, do NOT support nor do I endorse substance abuse of any kind. Stay safe friends, and happy gaming.

ABOUT
Meet Medic - a female companion found outside of Westside. Immersive, Lore-Friendly™, and possibly your new best friend. The old version is now entirely deprecated. Yeet that to the void and use this instead. If you're interested in listening to music that suits Medic, her headspace playlist can be found here (see DISCLAIMER above before listening).

MEDIC-SPECIFIC QUESTS
HIRING QUEST (Finds You Well) [IMPLEMENTED]
The player meets Medic by walking into her home. Understandably, Medic is startled and wondering what you're doing there. Regardless of player choices with dialogue, she immediately cons the player into doing a small drug run for her. Once her supplies are delivered, the option to have her as a companion opens up. Medic will share a little about her past and answer questions about the Mojave when asked, but she remains a bit guarded until her loyalty quest is done.

BRICK QUEST (Dead I Am The Rat, Feast Upon The Cat) [IMPLEMENTED]
After sending Medic home for the first time, she gets intel radio'd in to her from someone at the Old Mormon Fort. The player is tasked with a brief wild ride, urged by Medic to help save her friend's pet rat before he gets eaten by Mojave wildlife. Once the rat is found, Medic adopts him as her own and names him Brick.

LOYALTY QUEST (Life Waster) [COMING SOON]
Spoiler:
Show
Once Benny's fate is decided, Medic opens up to the player about wanting revenge of her own. She opens up about her ex-girlfriend, Lee, and how she died. After killing Dixon or finding an alternate solution to give Medic peace, she further opens up to the player and most dialogue is fully unlocked. Medic finally has closure on one of the hardest chapters of her life and is free to focus on the present as opposed to the past.

BESTIES QUEST (What Gives?) [COMING SOON]
Spoiler:
Show
Having gotten to know Medic better and bonding with her, the player is given the option to hangout and figure out where they stand. Medic wants to know what she means to the courier and is satisfied with most answers, unless the player is unforgivably rude ("you mean nothing to me", "you're just canon fodder", etc). The options to romance her or to become her lifelong platonic companion open up.
