In an attempt to dissect my favorite parts of Simply Uncut - New Vegas for personal usage, I've also decided to make public these dissected bits and pieces for the many who clamor for parts of SU NV who also do not want to use SU NV for one reason or another, which is valid considering the scope of SU NV.
In this installment, we take a look at the NCR loadouts. One of the most loved features from SU NV was the varied NCR Trooper, Ranger, and Heavy Trooper loadouts. Lore states in game that most NCR Troopers aren't kitted out properly for war, and that many don't even have functioning service rifles. Yet in vanilla every NCR Trooper ever has a functioning, quality Service Rifle. This mod changes that. Now you can find NCR Troopers, Rangers, and Heavy Troopers with varied loadouts. Troopers go from low quality Varmint Rifles to high-tech Recharger Rifles, 55.6 Pistols to Hunting Rifles, Silenced .22 Pistols to Service Rifles, depending on their luck with the loot tables. Heavy Troopers and Rangers have access to some varied equipment as well as guaranteed melee weapons and a small chance to have grenades. This goes for Troopers as well, although they'll have low-quality melee weapons.
