Permissions and credits

-Description-
===========
I have always loved the Pitstop Girl outfit from Gloss House Fashions, and it has remained one of my absolute favorite mods for FNV, over the many years, but I have always wanted a version that was a bit more modest. Life in the wasteland is dirty business, after-all. That idea grew from a small change made to the original mesh of the Pitstop Girl outfit, into an expanded collection, which includes new standalone assets and several new color variants made with permission granted by each of the individual authors responsible for the original meshes and textures.

This expanded collection includes two versions of the outfit. A “lite” version, and a “Full” version. The full version includes new fingerless gloves, a choker, and a leather biker jacket. The “Lite” Version only features fingerless gloves, (no jacket or choker)

This mod -only- features the outfits pictured, the cars and motorcycles are not included in this mod, nor are the available on the nexus via other mods, they are merely poses objects.
===========

New variants include:
- Black, White and Red
- Black/Pink
- Black/Blue
- Black/Green
- Black/yellow
- Black/Violet

as well as some minor adjustments made to some of the original textures.

This collection also features seamless compatibility (please see FAQ/Known Bugs, dependencies for more information on seamless compatibility)

However, if you aren’t using seamless compatibility from any of the recommended mods, it will function and look essentially the same as the original Gloss House Fashion Pitstop Girl outfits. that is to say, no neck gaps, but not seamless.

===========
-Location-
The outfits can be found under the water tower in the Goodsprings Cemetery in a steamer trunk. See screenshots for exact location.

-Installation-
Can be installed via a mod manager of your choice, or manually.

-Required Files-
Type 3 or its like (type 4, type 6, etc) is a hard requirement for this to work. If you aren’t using any of these, and your archive invalidation isn’t
set, you’re going to get texture issues. The same goes for all clothing/armor mods of any custom body type. If you are using a custom body type, be sure you familiarize yourself with all of the perquisites before installing clothing and armor mods, or leaving a bug report/comment regarding skin textures not looking right. Be sure your archive invalidation is set, and one of the above custom body mods installed.

I would -highly- recommend a compatibility skeleton when using custom armor for custom bodies. My mod should function without a compatibility
skeleton, but I would still recommend using one highly enough that I’m going ahead and putting it here, rather than below. This should also give you maximum compatibility for BNB clothing, even if you aren’t a BNB animation user.

Recommended, but optional
For seamless compatibility!
Mannequin Races  Now with its own neckseam concealers, in both type 4 and Type 6z. Its super effective!
Type 4  this is the original mod from Junkacc11, and an alternative to mannequin races, you don’t need to use both, also for seamless compatibility
Neck Seam Help a resource if you are interested in concealing neck seams on a body type that shares the same UV map as type 3
Megaton Hairs if you like the hair you see in the screen shots here is where most of them came from
Mojave Delight an alternative beauty mod, featuring the type 3 body with different hair, also featured in my screenshots.
NV Compatibility Skeleton a compatibility skeleton for maximum compatibility
The Skeleton an alternative compatibility skeleton for good measure. You don't need both.
Chromatic Melancholy an ENB Inspired by the vivid colors of BioShock infinite, and what I use for all my screenshots
Gloss House Fashions For the original mod, and a selection of other great outfits.
Motorcycle Replacer For better looking motorcycles, purely aesthetic
type 6z
GLOW Master Plugin

---The Following 'Recommended' are Modders resources, relevant to the theme-
Drivable Motorcycle - more of a modders resource, and buggy as all get out. Use at your own risk, I do not personally use this.
Drivable Cars - another drivable vehicle mod, also notoriously buggy like the drivable motorcycles and a little more of a modders resource then out of box and performance ready, but for the enterprising sort who doesnt mind some DIY, looking for drivable vehicles in fallout: New Vegas, these should be your first stop.
- note that neither of these mods include the motorcycles or cars pictured-

-Technical-

The resolution of the textures are 2K (2048x2048) and compressed. This is set as light armor. It has 400 health and a DT of “15”, the same DT as combat armor in game. It can be repaired using leather armor. (combat is set as medium armor) The trunk respawns, and has five copies of each outfit, both full and 'lite'

This file has a lot of textures and therefore, will be a large mod. The body type for this outfit is specifically type 3 cali.

-Known Bugs/incompatibilities-

1.) Wrist/arm issues in first person perspective: (see screenshots) the arm, specifically the wrist, will look warped in first person perspective when accessing the pip boy. If you watch closely when you open and close inventory you see the hand going behind the screen, and a weird alien looking skinny wrist. This is a known issue and not one I can fix. This is an issue that, as far as I am aware, already exists in the vanilla game. The problem is bad weight painting. A modder is forced to use the vanilla weight paint on wrists cause otherwise the hand mesh and body mesh will have gaps. There is a very slight gap between the wrists and hands in the original pitstop girl outfit from Gloss House Fashion. So I included gloves from Biker Girl Outfits to conceal this gap. BGOs is itself an unfinished modders resource that is not without it own quirks. Hence why its a resource rather then a full release. As a result, the trade off is, the gloves themselves look funny in first person perspective when you are opening your pip-boy. I have -no idea- what will happen with the other pip-boy replacer mods, or what it will look like, but can confirm it will definitely be something users of pipboy 2500 will notice, and users of the vanilla pip-boy might notice as well. Its purely aesthetic and literally only will come up when you bring up your pip-boy. So, knowing this in advance, use this mod at your own risk! You have been warned!

!!However!! if you are a modder and think you might know a way to fix or improve this issue, send me a message and let me know. I'm way open to ideas, and I'm still learning. Thank you for understanding!

2.) Potential Neck/seam gap: This collection has a neck seam concealer provided courtesy of zzjay that should give player a near seamless aesthetic on both the full and lite versions of this garment included in this mod, only if you are using already using seamless textures and meshes. (see
recommended mods to achieve the effects shown in my screenshots.) Please note: While Vanilla, and every custom races head meshes I have tested this mod with have given me no issues with any visible neck gaps (confirmed with vanilla, Mojave Delight, mannequin, and Junkacc11s type 4) I cannot promise every custom race with a custom head mesh floating around out there on on the nexus won’t give you visible neck seams or even gaps of varying sizes. It shouldn't. but I cant promise it wont with certain races I haven't tested. The mesh was made for type 3 and therefore type 3 and T3 compatible head meshes and uv maps for best results. If you're using any of my listed mods, or seamless textures from Junkacc11 or zzjay, it should work nicely. Every race I have tested it with is showing me no visible neck gaps, which is the most important thing. I cant fix this universally, unless I were going to adjust the meshes for every custom head mesh out there, and I just don’t have that kinda time on my hands. To reduce the issue of neck seams with custom races/head meshes in  general, I would highly suggest using any of the mods in my recommended list. Barring any of these fixes, if you do experience this problem, for the lazy modder, a stop gap solution could be a neck seam concealing necklace or bandana might also work out well for you. See Exeters – neck seamconcealers- or, you can use the tutorial I provided in my recommended mods, if you are the enterprising sort, and dont mind a little DIY.

3.) This is a large mod, use at own discretion: Not really a bug, but a heads up; this mod is large. Probably bigger then any other mod I've uploaded on nexus, there are a lot of different textures all of which have been compressed and are at 2K for the best FPS, and no staggers. I would generally encourage people interested in modding older games like FNV to be comfortable using programs specific to tooling around with modding those games, like GECK, Nifskope, LOOT, FOMM, and FNVedit to address various issues that might arise while a person is modding, or small tweaks and make changes they'd like to make to the mods (such as changing the DT, health, AR, texture tweaks, etc) they are using.

4.) Color may vary depending on your ENB: The colors and their vibrancy, or how they appear in your game is going to be entirely contingent on what enb you are using, if any at all. I use Chromatic Melancholy because I like especially vibrant colors in my game. How the colors look in your game might vary drastically from mind, and others who have shared screenshots.

5.) Potential for clipping when posing: I haven't had any major issues with clipping in playing with this mod, (sneaking, jumping, walking, running, combat) but while posing the character for screenshots I have spotted minimal clipping here and there, thats not too unusual, but if you take a lot of screenshots using poses, you might notice it too.

-FAQ-

Q: Do you have any future plans to convert these outfits to any other custom body type, such as type 6, or type 4?
A:
I have no future plans to convert these outfits to any other custom body type on the nexus. The body type utilized in the original mod was made
specifically for Type3 Cali. I am normally very open with giving permissions for full use of assets, but, as for these outfits specifically, if you would
like to convert them to another body type and release them on the nexus, then you MUST clear permissions from the listed authors. (see permissions, and credit section) If you have their permission for a release you have my permission to use anything I have contributed to these files.

Q: Do you plan on making these outfits BNB compatible?
A: This mod does not feature left and right bones in the breast, so BNB animations are unlikely to work with these outfits, I have no current plans to put them there.

Q: Can I make updates, fixes, changes, conversions to this file and release them/include outfits from this file in an overhaul/quest mod/replacer?
A: If you have permissions from both Eronel55 (for use of the meshes contained in this file) and Xazomn for the textures, then you have permission from me. However, if you do -not- have their prior express permission to make further changes to either the textures or the meshes, then you do not have permission from me. my releasing this mod, and using assets from it was completely contingent on both of them giving me permission to do so, and the same will be true for anyone wanting to use these assets.

Q: Will there be a male version?
A: I have no plans to make a version of this for the male body. If put on a male character in game it will become combat armor.

Q: I would like to see this outfit in a specific color you haven't made! / Do you have plans to add these outfits to a merchant? / Will there be any updates? / Can you put the outfits somewhere more lore friendly in game?
A: Highly unlikely I'm gonna add any different colors or make any significant updates that aren't bug fixes, should the need arise. Never say never, but consider it pretty unlikely.

Q: Are you going to release the cars and motorcycles pictured in the screenshots as a mod?
A: No, these are just pose objects used for the mod page.

More specifically, they belong to a private pose pack that is not currently available on the nexus. The meshes themselves are not even static. There are no future plans to release the cars, nor do I know where you can find each of the the original meshes for the cars/bikes.

Q: Im having a unique bug with this mod that isn't listed here, what should I do?
A:
Messages reach me faster then comments or bug reports do for the most part, but before messaging me, commenting, or submitting a bug report, please verify that the bug is in fact coming from my mod by doing all the usual checks and I'll do my best to address it, but I am frequently AFK -_-, so please try to be patient with my response times!

Q: I want to use this mod, and the original gloss house fashion mod, are they compatible?
A: they sure are! You can use both this mod and Gloss House Fashion, neither of the files will conflict. This collection is intended to work entirely out of box as a standalone, its not a replacer.

Q: This mod isn’t lore friendly/wouldn’t be practical in the wasteland/I don’t like this and want to complain! :(
A:
If you don’t like it, don’t use it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I am not especially concerned with lore-friendly content or even immersion. Just want to share projects I had fun working on, using, and collaborating with others on with the nexus community! I highly encourage you to make things you want to see in game and share them with others here on the nexus.

****For people who scrolled to the bottom of this page, without reading it, looking for information about the cars & motorcycles in the screenshots, having missed the tag line, the FAQ, the description, and the picture tag, no, the cars are not included in this mod, there are no future plans to release the cars, or the pose pack they appeared in, and I do not know where you can find each of the car/bike meshes. They are just pose objects for pictures. No need to let me know how disappointed you are! the mod category this file is marked as is "armour" thats what you'll be getting with this mod. Thanks!****
