Yagisan's Lakeside Cabin has been part of my load order for a long time and over the years I've made various tweaks to it, tweaks I felt others may enjoy.
List of Tweaks/Fixes
The wild crops can be farmed with any mod that adds wild plant farming, such as Fully Functional Wild and Fresh Crops.
And of course, Yagi's Lakeside Cabin Settlement is required as this is a patch, not a replacer. Works with versions 8 and 9 of that mod.
Also this mod is ESL flagged.

List of Tweaks/Fixes
- Cat Restored, named Noodles, flagged as protected, given 10 happiness rating - the default for workshop cats
- Trader given settler functionality, retains trader functionality, named Bonnie
- Borders now perfectly match build area, build area mostly the same
- Restored wild crops, linked them to settlement. 4 Wild Corn, 4 Wild Tato, 3 Bloodleaf, 2 Hubflower, 1 Carrot Flower, 1 Glow Fungus
- Dynamic Navmeshes that adjust as you scrap via the precut function
- Water navmeshes correctly flagged, to prevent drowning cats and settlers
- Reduced Grass FOMOD option to significantly reduce tall grass in the build area.
- Optimized load times by moving disabled references to a utility cell and then linking them to an empty precombine
- Made lake water less turbulent
- Made it so settlement is acquired via default settlement quest, or killing Bonnie, rather than instant unlock
- Restored candles, made them scrappable
- Made it so the oil lamp's light correctly disables when it's scrapped
- Fixed small terrain hole under rocky outcropping
- Linked bed to settlement
