  • Description

Originally ported from Day of Infamy by a Chinese modder called 晓午 (Xiaowu) yet he turned to his other plans. And I gave a try to finish it. I Added BCR support, a vanilla mesh based suppressor, an M1 Bayonet and cleared the remnant data from esp.

It will start to spawn when your character reaches level 25.

It is fed with .308 Winchester, New Calibers patch is also available. Two optical sights can be attached to, a Weaver Model 330 scope and an Unertl 8x scope. A3 style iron sight, suppressor and bayonet are also available. Bolts customising selections are divided into 'Infantry' and 'Sniper' two sorts as well like Mosin.

  • Installation

Install BCR first, it is the very only requirement of the mod. Then install the mod. The ESP is flagged as ESL, so it won't eat game's plugin budget of 256 mods.

  • Known Issues

The textures are quite low-res, any attempt of retex are always welcome.

Though already adapted, all animation is ripped from Mosin Nagant rather than designed for M1903, so it will be little bit unproper and inexact.

晓午 (Xiaowu) does not own standalone version of Day of Infamy. He ported the model and textures from Insurgency's DOI mod, where bayonet is not included. So I have to use the meshes of Springfield M1903...ish by Karle94 of M1 Bayonet of M1 Garand - A WWII Classic by asXas instead since I am not capable of converting assets of Source Engine into Fallout 4 form though I own a copy of DOI in my Steam account. Anyone who would like to port a proper model of bayonet just please help yourself.

Extremely slow NPC movement when equipped with the rifle. It is the issue of animation of Mosin. To fix is beyond my capability of modding.

  • Credits

New World Interactive for developing Day of Infamy and permitting players utilising their assets to modding on third party games as long as the mods are non-profitable according to their EULA. I am so proud of being a faithful customer of their products.

晓午 (Xiaowu) for porting most of parts of the rifle, adjusting animation and finishing the majority of the esp work and allow me to continue his job.

AsXas for modelling M1 Garand with attachments, which is also adopted by Black Matter's Hell Let Loose.

AnotherOne for adding esl flag.

HyperX for publishing Mosin, a good fundament for bolt-action rilfe mods.

WarDaddy for animation, the best internal-magazine fed bolt action rifle animation you can find.

BitSpyder for Bullet Counted Reload - Patches.

Satojo for Satojomov Armoury, the meshes of bayonet in version 1.0 are from his work.

Karle94 for Springfield M1903...ish.
