His Kingdom Come: Bringing the word of God back to the Commonwealth
In a time of post apocalyptic decadence and despair, the word of God returns a message of hope to a people who have long forgotten Him.
What does this mod do?
- Adds custom, fully readable and interactable, standalone editions of the Holy Bible to Fallout 4, which can be displayed on magazine shelfs and racks.
- Adds a short, fully voiced, quest to enhance the lore surrounding religion in Fallout 4, tying into Pastor Clements at All Faiths Chapel in Diamond City.
- Adds custom workshop items to enhance gameplay and the use of Bibles in Fallout 4. For instance a Constructible Lectern upon which you can display your
bible, and which adds a slight boost to settlement happiness! To UNLOCK these settlement items you will need to find their respective “Building His Kingdom” magazines around fallout 4. (Hint: Look in the Chapel in Diamond City)
- Adds a custom magazine series "Building His Kingdom" to the game world. These are scattered across the Commonwealth, and are typically found in the ruins old churches.
- Adds a number of different workshop objects, including 10 paintings in 9 different frames each, 4 posters, 10 signs (with 2 texture sets for each) and furniture such as a Chuch Pew, granting the same bonuses as the one in Diamond City and12 wall mountable Crosses in 2 sizes.
Finding and picking up the word of God will grant you a unique perk "Messenger of God", inspiring you to spread the word of God throughout the commonwealth! This perk will increase one rank for each unique version of the Bible you find. Owning 2 editions of the same Bible will however not trigger an advance in rank.
Installation
Use the included FOMOD installer with a mod manager for best results.

Included are 1k textures, 2k textures and 4k textures. Choose whichever you desire.

Everything added in this mod, is standalone. The only world-edits/world-additions that have been done, are inside the Church in Concord and the All Faiths Chapel in Diamond City. If you use custom mods changing these worldspaces there is a chance that you will experience issues.
FAQ
Where do I find the bible?
- Look inside the Church in Concord.
I am unsure if the mod is loading properly. I can't find the bible inside the Church!
- Try entering this console command while ingame "player.placeatme xx004C701" where you replace the "xx" with the number this mod was given, in your load order. This will move the bible to your location. If this is not working, you are probably experiencing another issue, as the mod is not properly loading.
- Check which version of Fallout 4 you are running! This mod was created using version "1.10.163.0". You may have to manually edit the mod version, to correspond with your actual game version, using xedit!
Can I read the Bible?
YES!!! You can absolutely read the Bible! And even more! You can look up every specific Book, Chapter and Vers of the Bible. This is achieved by hard work and more than 1200 different scripts tying into a seamless Bible experience!
Is this an Audio Bible?
No!! If you're looking for an audio version, I suggest you check our my other mod: His Kingdom Come - Radiostation Addon
Does this perk (Messenger of God) provide a constant passive health regen?
No… No, it does not. If you have another effect providing you health regen, this perk will simply boost that with 2 percent. So if you are already gaining 1hp/s, you will now gain 1,02hp/s with this perk.
