Description
************
This is a modder's resource. The Resources for Certain Interested Parties file is self-made with various resources. The Light Loads are not mine but other modders assets with fairly open permissions. Various Awakening Resources are also available. I will try to list a general sense of what the mod contains but I will not provide every detail; if you are using as a modders resource you will have to see for yourself.

Resources for Certain Interested Parties

Spoiler:
Show
Types of things in the main file: DAO and DA2 icons, extra item restrictions (i.e. Qunari, and gender for male or female only model items), extra item properties (like Cold VFX but now Fire, Lightning, etc.), VFX change for Spirit Flame (now purple), more projectile options, extra eye tints and textures, armor and weapons can use any of the default tints via tint override, and so on.

Item Properties and Weapon Effects is currently only in English .tlk files sorry. Added Female Only, Male Only and Qunari Only restrictions so when in the Toolset you can make sure certain gear (or gear models) gets to the gender is actually is assigned to and not get invis-bodies. Cold VFX now has some friends: Fire VFX, Lightning VFX, Nature VFX, Spirit Flame VFX (also changed to the colour purple) and Spirit Aura VFX. More projectile options, Variables -> PROJECTILEOVERRIDE:

  • 300 - Staff Projectile - Spirit Damage (Spirit VFX)
  • 301 - Staff Projectile - Spirit Damage (Entropy VFX)
  • 302 - Staff Projectile - Spirit Damage (Black Orb VFX)
  • 303 - Staff Projectile - Spirit Damage (Lightning VFX)

This is a resource used for monster, weapon, armor and placeable models but also provides some replacers.

Monster Replacements:

*Requires RfCIP Awakening Mechanics Resources (Miscellaneous file) due to the fact this is more of an VFX than a creature model. Or delete the bhm600cr_wispwraith.utc file, if you do not want RfCIP Awakening Mechanics Resources.

RfCIP Props turned Placeables
*********************************
Spoiler:
Show
This is an in progress extension of 100s of props turned to placeables. Some are pretty much fully converted, and some partially (aka cannot be moved after placed in an area while in toolset with mouse, must be manually moved via coordinates). This file may be updated in various ways like the removal or addition of props, edit or renaming to the files, adding recolours (some props turn extremely light in game (but in toolset they will be a lot darker) as a placeable, so most need recolours and I have provided some). I will not take requests or change for you. It was a great deal of work for it even it get this far, I am simply making it available also as a modders resource but it is primarily meant for my Return to Ferelden (Ferelden Revision) mod.

RfCIP Light Loads
*******************
Spoiler:
Show
Light Loads are fixes, cleanup, removed some duplicate items that already exist in (LF and KE) and lighter resources of existing resources. But this may mean they do not contain 100% of the original mods—Ladyofpayne's Viva la Orlais and Ferelden Pack, as well as a collection of tmp7704 mods—you will have to download the originals and sort conflicts, etc. yourself then. You can either download the originals or use "Light Load" files but there should be far less conflicts and issues with the "Light Loads". I have provided some some Media on the kept models but not every item. Source file of Item Variations included.

I did this because they are amazing resources that just really needed updates and fixes to get more out of them—the credit still all goes to Ladyofpayne not only was their work amazing the mods were very well organized to start with making this a plausible project—but this has so far more or less take a week of "file auditing". Also, tmp7704 collection was very easy to maneuver as well and had less conflicts to resolve. This is just for those who want less nonsense or trouble in Toolset and/or when using my mods but it is still a very large file considering it is across multiple mods. If you reuse these "Light Loads" note they use components of tmp7704 and Ladyofpayne mods (they will be indicated), you must follow their terms of permission (see "Fixes and Edits of Other Mods" for more details).

Viva la Orlais and Ferelden Pack (Light Loads):
Spoiler:
Show
Original mod had an error and 2 items would not pull up, and this light load fixes that. Notable removed content: Chantry, wedding, a few light armor outfit models, a few clothing models, the nudes and armor bikini. Some removals were due to mod overlap—if you have almost all of  tmp7704's content as well as Loincloth Fashion and Kirkwall Exports, you shouldn't be missing anything, but note not all overlap items were removed. Chantry, wedding, the nudes and bikini seem very niche. Name changes when there were two similar names for the same object (original GDA file vs file folders) or when more appropriate names seemed necessary. I also couldn't find one of the noble outfits, so I am not sure if it was included in the original mod and I also found an item too.

Notable removed armor: Templar Armor since it is covered in Kirkwall Exports and slight conflicting issues with other mods and recolouring (VlaO) removed certain recolours and put back to default colours. Currently no preview see original mods for images.

Viva la Orlais and Ferelden Pack - Recolours because Ladyofpayne has such an open permission policy (see Fixes and Edits of Other Mods --> Permission section) I have also added some recolours for her models as optional files in the Light Load. To change recolours you have to rename the files, example if a .dds file has "(Original)" then that is the original colour, if it has a (No Gems) or (Gold) option those are options, you just have to rename the files.

In the Media there are seven images for the Light Load version of Viva la Orlais.

  • First Row: Duke Montfort Armor, hm (41) / Florianna Dress, hf (41) / Empress Celene Dress, hf (51) / Violet Dress, hf (93)

tmp7704 Pack (Light Load)
Spoiler:
Show
Includes Apostate Clothing, Dalish Armour, Elf Update, Qunari Update, Succubus Bedla, Unique Light Armours, Warden Armours, and  Warden Garments. This Light Load is to help minimize conflicts and clean up when using my mods, however, do note tmp7704 original mods are more content and to fully enjoy you may want to sort through content and conflicts on your own but for those not comfortable with doing their own fixing and sorting conflicts will find the Light Load much easier and less downloads to track. Does not contain tmp7704's Tucked Hair (you'd have to download this off site).

*Due to an oversight, I didn't realize that The Kossith Add-On mod is included in the light load, but reviewing the permissions, it only seems to credit tmp7704, so I am going to leave it.

RfCIP Awakening Mechanics Resources
******************************************
Miscellaneous File
Spoiler:
Show
Awaken a bit earlier with this resource pack. I know there are other Awakening Resources for Origins mods, but this is a lighter more balanced version. No Awakening equipment added, minimal merchant interference, and the level requirements are not too easy/early.

Attribute requirements were not reduced for new spells/talents. The prices of recipes, items, reagents, etc. were not reduced. Not every Runecrafting tracing was added to Origins, Masterpiece and Paragon are still only in Awakening. This is so it can remain somewhat balanced. Here are some of the basics:

  • Specializations, level requirements are scaled similar to regular specializations.
  • Skills, Spells and Talents from Awakening, level requirements are available about 10 levels early (10, 12, 14, 16).
  • Lost Runecrafting tracing fixed, Journeyman Barrier Rune Tracing*.
  • Lesser Stamina Draught Recipe replacing Mabari Crunch Recipe for start recipes for Herbalism*.
  • Bodahn Feddic has Runecrafting tracings (up to Master), runecrafting materials and even has Manual of Focus**.
  • Tranquil Proprietor has the Awakening Herbalism recipes.
  • Cesar has the Poison-Making recipes.
  • Owen has the Trap-Making plans.
  • Blood LotusMadcap Bulb and Rashvine Nettle have a chance at dropping.
  • Elemental resistance cap has been raised to 85% as per Awakening.
  • Elemental damage cap has been raised to 50% as per Awakening.
  • Spirit damage raised to 100% fix, so Soulbound can work as described for Awakening.
  • Mental and Physical resistance cap has been raised to 150 as per Awakening.
*Upon a new Origin file creation aka character generation.
**Only upon first time loading into party camp. When I tried to script it in it only broke his store.

Additional Notes:
  • Specializations, Skills, Spells and Talents, level requirements reduction will also effect Awakenings.
  • Bodahn Feddic's runecrafting materials and Manual of Focus—are unlimited.
  • Manual of Focus will not unlearn Power of Blood or customized Skills/Spells/Talents. If you try to use this item on the same character consecutively, you might have to save, and reload—for it to work again.
  • Mabari Crunch Recipe is now available from the Ostagar Quartermaster.
  • The Lost Runecrafting tracing fix is via sys_chargen.ncs file, so any mods that use that you have to pick which to use.
  • Runecrafting will not give you the starter recipes on old files; only new character generated files, but they can be bought from Bodahn Feddic.
  • There are extra Awakening resources for those who use the toolset to make their own equipment. So the models, item properties and tier 8 and 9 material types are available.
Disclaimer:
Please do note, this is a lot of resources imported from Awakening, I have tested out many components, but there may be things I have missed, errors or bugs. Things I probably only can really find and correct—is if others test this mod out. Please note that if you use a heavily modded game that already uses Awakening resources their may be conflicts, I will not be able to fix for you. However, so far it seems to be a very smooth import but may conflict or some incompatibilities with DLCs such as Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt (which isn't something I could really fix), just remove the folder while playing these DLCs.

Permission:

tmp7704 (inactive) permissions/credits: open for fixes and modders projects just not reuploaded as stand alone, and as long as you link/credit.
all my mods are free to use in modders projects do not upload as standalone. credit my name if you please.

Ladyofpayne (inactive) permissions/credits: open for modifications as long as you link/credit.
You can include it in any mod you want. Just give a link on me.

These are amazing mods and resources but there are some conflicts and errors, and after a certain amount of mods—navigating in Toolset can be difficult. The added GDA file for Item Variations is meant to work with Loincloth FashionKirkwall Exports, etc. without actually modifying their mods, because they have stricter permissions as well as being inactive, so at least it is providing for tmp7704/Ladyofpayne, and to work with those other popular mods. What you will notice in the Toolset is the item variations will have the mod or the author's name with the label, example. Orlesian Noble Outfit (VlaO), so to not get confused with Orlesian Noble Hunting Outfit/Orlesian Noble Outfit from Lioncloth Fashions.
