🐞 Known Issues
Since this mod is rather complex but I didn't want to sit on it any longer, I decide to release it, even though there might be some flaws still. Here are some I know of:
- This is a beta version. Some quirky behavior might happen. Feel free to fine tune the mod settings.
- Allied enemy answers to some combat callouts are deactivated for now. Still needs some finetuning.
- Special lines for specific weapons are sometimes deactivated. Need to optimize this feature. Lines like "Stay still" or "Eat my arrow" will not play yet. I have to check if the enemy is using their bow animation.
- Since the mod relies on vanilla AI logic it can happen that voice lines don't get played when detected (because you were already detected through a wall 🤣).
- It can happen that you hear voices from farther away. I tried to muffle the sound, but as you know, you can hear enemies from all angles in Daggerfall, even behind walls or below/above you. Also Daggerfall dungeons have rooms with enemies you can't reach. It is, what it is 🤷♂️
- If you spawn in a lot of enemies and fight them, it can happen that their reaction time is slower, since voice lines are queued to an extend. Let's say it's free Elder Scroll's jank for Daggerfall :P
- All packs are HD, I planned to also release a SD version with bitcrunched samples. Will come later :)
- Over time I will tweak some timings and add additional actions NPCs can react to.
