My Oblivion mods are now as is. I can't troubleshoot any issues as I haven't modded the game in years. If you have issues with any of my mods, and can't find an answer in the comments, it'd be best to ask on the Oblivion Mods forum. There's likely people there who still play the game and can better help you.

Description:
============
This mod adds Lucien Lachance as a companion and is directly based on Deepfreeze's "Vincente Companion" mod v1.6. It's recommended that you upgrade to the latest Oblivion patch.

Behind the chapel at Weynon Priory, in the paddock on the right as you come up the path, there's a small camp site where you will find him and his horse.
I think his AI package includes a night time stay in Chorrol, but of a day time he'll be at the campsite.

Deepfreeze's scripting remains largely unchanged, with the exception of messages that referred to Vincente. They now refer to Lucien.
None of the onscreen dialogue has been edited as, personally, I liked the sense of humor that Deepfreeze put into the original.

Conflicts/Issues:
================
If you use this mod with the original "Vincente Companion" mod you will get a conflict showing in OBMM. The reason for this is that it shares the exact same scripting as the "Vincente" mod. If you simply can't play Oblivion with a mod that shows conflict, please do not download or install this mod. Or, you can try this mod and if you find that you're having conflict problems, just uninstall it.

With the exception of what was mentioned above, this mod should run with any mod that "Vincente" runs with.

Install:
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Mod Manager/Launcher and place a checkmark beside the .esp file / activate the OMOD.

It's recommended to create omod's for mods that consist of more than just an esp. It makes installing/uninstalling much easier as well as a tidier Data folder.

Uninstall:
==========
1. Start Oblivion Mod Manager/Launcher, and uncheck the .esp file(s) / deactivate the OMOD, if you made one.
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod:

DM_LucienCompanion.esp
Sound\Voice\DM_LucienCompanion.esp
Textures\Menus\Icons\DM
DM_LucienCompanion.txt
GGVincente1.6Final.txt
GGVincenteReleaseNotes.txt
