My Oblivion mods are now as is. I can't troubleshoot any issues as I haven't modded the game in years. If you have issues with any of my mods, and can't find an answer in the comments, it'd be best to ask on the Oblivion Mods forum. There's likely people there who still play the game and can better help you.

Description:
===========
Many have requested I release my Open Book as-is because I'll probably never get around to releasing it incorporated into my Snowman mod as I'd intended.

I originally made it to go with a certain pose from a newish mod at the time. It has featured in many screenshots since creation and after a number of emails set about fancying it up a bit for release.

The text inside the book has the same theme as the images on the pages. So naturally, I named it the Book of Elements.

Location:
========
The archive includes an esp. The book can be found in the testing hall on a stand just inside the door. It can be picked up. The inventory icon doesn't match but after several failed attempts to make one myself I just left the original that JDFan made.

Details:
======
I made this early last year (2007) and have given it to a few people to play around with and use. It's included in WillieSea's Assassins Tripwire Traps - the black book on the stand.
WillieSea did a fantastic job of retexing and tweaking the book to his liking for his mod. My knowledge was limited but suggestions and tutorials on improvements are welcome, copycats are not.

Install:
=====
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

Uninstall:
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

Oblivion\Data\Meshes\MystykStarJD
Oblivion\Data\Textures\MystykStarJD
Oblivion\Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\MystykStarJD

Known Issues or Bugs:
====================
The havok box in Nifskope looks fine, but ingame it doesn't. Originally I used a generic book's details and resized it to suit. Also the size of the mesh needs to be enlarged within Nifskope. When placing ingame I've been manually resizing. I keep forgetting to fix that.

The bookmark has no texture, just shading. I meant to do a uv map and texture for it but never got around to it.
