What NVEC Does
This mod is a ginormous Compilation of hundreds of different mods
All plugins are standalone meaning they don't require each other to run unless using patches
NVEC Complete contains Reduce CTD + BugFixes + Enhancements all in one esm. You don't need the others when selecting this one. This plugin is mostly a compilation of hundreds of different mods which massively reduces load orders, increases immersion, adds quests, restores uncut content, integrates new weapons/armors into the game properly, turns useless statics into containers/activators, and much more. Not only does it contain all of that, it also has my own tweaks and inclusions which are more map markers to unmarked locations, companions gear are all shown in inventories so you can fully customize your followers however you wish. Most mods merged into here have either been fixed, designed for NVEC users, changed to better suit FNV, and/or expanded to all DLCs. For the full list of inclusions, click links a little lower to make sure you don't have a plugin running that's already in this esm. I've gone through great detail and time putting this plugin together so I hope you enjoy it :)

NVEC Complete + NVCE is the same as Complete but with NVCE - New Vegas Character Expansions integrated by me and NVCE made by Machienzo. The primary focus of NVCE is the alterations of NPCs, which range from cosmetic fixes, stat changes, inventory etc in order to comply with a strict principle of Fallout lore. The best way to think of this is as Fallout 3's "Project Beauty" or the "New Vegas Redesigned". Many of the issues addressed include terribly disproportional faces and wacky hair colouring (see pictures for more detail). Problems with faces clipping through masks or goggles for NPCs have also been addressed (ie. African American's protruding lips cause clipping issues with Legion face masks). There are also problems with NPC inventories, and these have been addressed also. Although credit is where credits due; for most of the important named NPCs do happen to look reasonably created and far more distinctive than Fallout 3's unique NPCs. However, there are still countless NPCs with unacceptable styles, such as bright hair, pale skin or just being plain ugly.

NVEC BugFixes is a separated esm from Complete which just contains fixes to activators, ingestibles, ammunitions, armor, cells, classes, containers, creatures, dialogue topics, doors, object effects, factions, form lists, globals, head parts, lights, leveled items, messages, base effects, misc items, notes, npcs, packages, perks, projectiles, quests, recipes, scripts, sounds, actor effects, statics, terminals, texture sets, weapons, worldspaces, etc. They all are my fixes and many many mod authors work mixed in. Mods included most likely have been fixed in one way or another by me. The whole list of inclusions are at the link a little lower.

NVEC BugFixes + NVCE is the same as NVEC BugFixes but with NVCE - New Vegas Character Expansions integrated by me and NVCE made by Machienzo.

NVEC Enhancements is a separated esp from Complete that just contains enhancements and no bugfixes. Contains improvements, changes, expansions, tweaks, reduced annoyances, and basically making FNV badass and how it should have been in the 1st place. It's my enhancements and many many mod authors work mixed in. Mods included most likely have been fixed in one way or another by me. The whole list of inclusions are at the link a little lower.

NVEC Reduce CTD is a separated esp from Complete that repairs errors/warnings in FNV and DLC ESMs reported by FNVEdit. This results in quests, loading worldspaces/cells, roaming the wastes, and basically running FNV in general with considerably less crashes. This plugin is how this mod all got started and where my skills mostly are.

NVEC Extras - MCM is an optional plugin made separately towards the Mod Config Menu. It requires the Mod Config Menu and NVSE. It only contains the FPS Weapon Wheel at the moment. THIS PLUGIN IS STRICTLY FOR MCM MODS ONLY

More Perks Merge is a version of Dree's More Perks combining all his esps/esms into one esm. Includes More Perks, More Traits, More Perks for Companions, and all his updates. The fomod installation is designed to output the NO DLC and DLC as the same name. Check lower for proper installation.

Optional mods that are converted to the MCM all thanks to the brilliant luthienanarion

Optional mods that are disabled by default and can be activated from an item on a table in front of Doc Mitchel's House
They can be enabled in the MCM as well

New Users

Thank you for choosing NVEC :D

Installations are packaged into 7zips. Any bugs you find with NVEC and the vanilla game please report them to the comments section. I keep track of all bugs reported by users so don't be shy.

The Downloads

Each download is different
  • NVEC Complete - EXE installer
  • NVEC BugFixes - In a 7zip
  • NVEC BugFixes + NVCE - In a 7zip
  • NVEC Enhancements - EXE installer
  • NVEC Reduce CTD - In a 7zip

NVEC Complete contains Reduce CTD + BugFixes + Enhancements all in one esm. Obviously you don't need to run the others when selecting this one.
If you want everything install NVEC Complete OR NVEC Complete + NVCE. This has everything NVEC has to offer and it's made into one esm file instead of three separate plugins.

If you decide that you do not want to install complete you can choose from which modules you want to install(Reduce CTD, BugFixes, and Enhancements).
================================================================================================================================================
NVEC Installation

  • Check the "NVEC LOAD ORDER EXAMPLE" a little lower so you know what you want to get before downloading anything
  • Check your load order Vs Enhancement Mod Inclusions List + BugFix Mod Inclusions List so you don't have a mod running that's already included. Remove the esps/esms from the already included mods. Uninstalling the already included mods is recommended to save space
  • Download what you want from the download section (this should be obvious what to do by now)
  • The main download is an executable installer. Just start it and follow the instructions. Enhancements is too. The NVEC Patches and More Perks Merged are a fomod and can be used with NMM or FOMM. All other downloads are manual

================================================================================================================================================
More Perks Merged Installation

  • At the More Perks mod page, install all of its main/optional files into your FNV data folder
  • Now stay in your FNV data folder and go to sound - voice - More Perks For Companions.esm and move those folders into =====> sound/voice/More Perks.esm folder
  • Go to sound - voice - More Traits.esm and move those folders into =====> sound/voice/More Perks.esm folder
  • Got to sound - voice - More Perks for Honest Hearts.esm and move those folders into =====> sound/voice/More Perks.esm folder
  • Now delete the More Perks original esps/esms from FOMM or in your FNV Data folder
  • Then you will download the merged more perks esm from the NVEC optional downloads and use FOMM - Package manager, since it's a fomod
  • Then you will see the More Perks esm in your load order and make sure it's checked before playing

(Extras) FPS Weapon Wheel Activation

Requirements:

Basic install:
  • Place Extras esp and menus folder into your FNV data folder
  • Download and use The Unified HUD Project to enable the HUD element. It will be checked as FPS Weapon Wheel
  • Place a check next to the Extras esp in whatever mod manager program you use
  • If you previously used the newest version of the FPS Weapon Wheel then all you have to do is remove the FPSWeaponWheel.esp without needing to activate it through the unified hud again

You can enable the HUD element manually by the following steps:
  • Go to your (installdir)DataMenusMain folder
  • Open hud_main_menu.xml file in a text editor (notepad or notepad++ will do fine)
  • Scroll to the very bottom of the file.
  • Just above the last line which should be "</menu>" paste the following.<include src="fwwweaponwheel.xml"/>
  • Your bottom 2 lines should now look like:<include src="fwwweaponwheel.xml"/></menu>

Load Order:
  • Recommend to load the Extras esp after the Mod Config Menu esp

TROUBLESHOOTING WEAPON WHEEL:
  • When I scroll while zoomed out my weapons keep switching. Hold "F" to avoid that when zooming in and out
  • If nothing happens when you scroll up and down then you haven't activated it yet with the Unified Hud
  • If you scroll up and down only hearing beeping sounds then change the minimum clip count to 0

Uninstall Weapon Wheel:
  • Untick and/or remove the Extras esp
  • Deactivate FPS Weapon Wheel in Unified Hud
  • If you had your hotkeys on the mousewheel, be sure to go into 3rd person mode and save like that, before uninstalling
  • If you were using custom hotkeys, you can simply uninstall anyways

================================================================================================================================================

How to start it
 - You have to find Randal's shack with a note on it which is near the Canyon Wreckage. Once you pickup the note, NVB1 will start and the door will unlock. In order to start NVB2, you have to complete NVB1.

How to start it
 - At the Nipton Road Rest-Stop, South of Primm. There's a manhole in the middle of the parking lot.

Important - The laser barrier WILL kill followers that enter it. Please tell them to wait before doing so! I had to make a tough decision, but this is a no-follower quest mod. It allowed him FAR more freedom when it came to scripted cut scenes and story. There is no easy way to account for non-vanilla followers.

How to start it
[/size] - Talk to Mr. Franco to begin the quest. He hangs out on the main floor of the Tops Casino. Enter the casino, and search the lowered area to the right of the main staircase.

Current Bugs

  • NVB1 + 2 aren't finished from the original mods. Expect non-voiced dialogue and The Judge has 2 different voices
  • Missing nuke mushroom clouds after completing Lonesome Road
  • Cass' lacks biped models for male PCs, so equipping it in a male makes it invisible except for the head and hands
  • Vanilla bug - When throwing certain weapons like tomahawks human blood always comes out even on things like bugs
