19 Nov - v1.5 of the optional file adds a swapTo variation for Ancient Gods Legacy - shoutout to CursedWitcher! As with other modded armor sets, it requires the original mod to be installed as well for it to work.
30 Aug - v2.3.1 of the main file fixes the Netflix "S1.5" option. Please note that the directory was renamed to use a '-' instead of '.' when you update, if you're using it. Extra details, for anyone interested: The '.' might have been causing an issue with the bundle packer and wasn't caught in my testing since my script uses a generic modSwapTest for the directory when testing in game so that I can overwrite it easily when hopping between different swaps.
5 June - v2.3 of the main file *FINALLY* fixes the issue with the potion/bomb strap on the GM Netflix (S2) swapTo variant. This also adds in Bjorn_18's 'belt-to-strap' fix (used in tandem as it is a separate but similar issue from the one I was facing), used with permission, when using the NetflixS2 swap, as well as a comment giving credit to them whenever this swapTo option is used. Thanks again! - v2.3 also adds a Netflix "S1.5" option which swaps to the S2 pants with S1 for the other pieces. This option does not include Bjorn's fix, as it does not align with the S1 chest piece.
- v1.4.1 of the optional file adds a small typo fix that might have led to unintentional swap issues.
4 June - v1.4 of the optional file adds the following swapTo variations, after getting permission from their respective mod authors (that require their respective mods to be installed as well):
Defiant Inquisitor - shoutout to skydoespoint (Note: I recommend using this set's Shroud, either through console or crafting, for the appearance in its images. Secondary note: there may be some hair clipping issues with its hood for now.)
13 Jan - v2.2.1 and v1.3.2 of the main and optional files, respectively, include fixes for Cat swaps and base. Optional file also fixes a reported bug with the swap to Cos Wiecej where the legs would disappear when several different chest pieces were equipped
9 Jan - v2.2 and v1.3 of the main and optional files, respectively, now include Hen Gaidth and Tesham Mutna (Vampire sets from BaW) as base/stat sets.
5 Jan - v2.1.2 includes a general hair fix, predominantly for when wearing GM Cat armor but swapping to another.
Also, this version adds in GM Swaps for Bear, Cat, Griffin, and Wolf, so that the lower tiers all take on the GM appearance of the selected swap (rather than being tiered like the normal offering). The folders are distinguished in the download as Bear vs BearGM, for example.
Additionally, I've included a "Jaypee Custom" set that I'm using for my game. It is a mix-and-match set for pieces that I find go well together. Note that if you decide to use this, it currently requiresSezon Burz (torso) and Seeker (gloves) to both be installed
Finally, optional file v1.2.1 (modded armors) includes a general hair fix
27 Dec - v2.1.1 includes a hair fix for GM Cat (when using swapToCat) for the hair not being tucked into the downed hood when using a hairstyle like 'Long and loose'
Additionally, after getting permission from their respective mod authors, the following swapTo variations have been added to the modded optional file v1.2download (that require their respective mods to be installed as well):
Additionally, after getting permission from their respective mod authors, there is an optional download (that require their mods to be installed as well) for swaps to:
20 Dec - v2.0.2 Next-Gen/Complete Edition update! This adds in four new armor looks:
Netflix Seasons 1 and 2 (same 'Forgotten Wolf' set, but appearances are different enough for two separate swaps)
Dol Blathanna
White Tiger
Also, added the Netflix/Forgotten Wolf and Manticore sets as a base/stat option for their bonuses. ** FIXED IN v2.3 ** Known issue with the Netflix S2 swap - the pants do not show the thigh strap. I tried a few fixes with no luck yet. That said, I didn't want to make folks wait any longer and will attempt some other fixes over the next few days.
Pre- Next-Gen Patch - Note: Cutoff for "Incomplete Edition" - v1.4.1 includes (summary of previous changelog notes): Swaps from:
Bear
Cat
Griffin
Manticore
Viper
Wolf
Swaps to:
School armors above
Skellige
Nilfgaard
Temeria
New Moon
Ornate Robe (for fun, only chest is updated for this one)
Is it possible to choose which tier of armor you want to swap to? I am desperately searching for a way to make the Grandmaster Wolven Armor to look like Mastercrafted instead.
It will make all Witcher sets and all Vampire sets take on the appearance of whichever swap you pick, while maintaining the stats of the "source" armor.
For example, if you used the modSwapWitcherArmorsToKaerMorhen option in the main file, Tesham Mutna, Bear, Wolf, etc sets would all look like you had Kaer Morhen equipped.
Hi, i just might being dumb, but i'm trying to install the mod on my the witcher 3 on steam and it doesn't seems to be loading. I've already tried to only load it without success. To install, i only have to extract the variant of set i want (white tiger) in the mods folder and add the text in mods.settings file, right? am i missing something?
That should be all you need to do. What's your folder structure look like when you install it? It should look something like this: ...\The Witcher 3\Mods\modSwapWitcherArmorsToWhiteTiger
yeah it's exactly like that "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\Mods\modSwapWitcherArmorsToWhiteTiger"
i've tried installing manually and using the mod manager, both didn't change anything in game, tried with kaer morhen armor variant too and nothing changed. inside the content folder of the mod is only 2 files, 'blob0.bundle' and 'metadata.store'
it's weird because i've tried load the game with only the swap armor mod installed and it didn't did anything, the mods i'm using that affects armor, none of them are visual, just stats and durability
The stats and durability ones are actually the conflicts here. They use the same file as I do for the edits in this mod. My mod doesn't actually touch the visuals or image files at all, simply changes which image the armor data looks for to represent its visual, if that makes sense.
In order to get this to work with those mods for the stats and durability, you'll need to use the script merger. When using it, make sure to take the change from my mod's file on any conflicting line with equip_template on it. That should do the trick.
i tried using script merge, it doesnt show any conflicts that needs merging. so i disable all other mods and loaded the game with only the swap, and it still doesnt do anything. i'm starting to think that it can be a missing file in the game or something like that, i want to ask, do u know if the language of the game can have influence on the mod operation? My game is in brazilian portuguese
sorry for making you change the language of your game to check the possibility, in the image you can see the directory of the mod folder and the files inside it
Thanks for confirming. I know sometimes when people have used a mod manager, it duplicates the modSwapWitcherArmorsToWhiteTiger (or other mod equivalent) folder, so I wanted to make sure that didn't happen here too.
That said though, the last thing I would recommend is verifying the integrity of the game's files in Steam, if you haven't done that already. If you have, I'm all out of ideas, unfortunately, as to why it's not working for you. 🤔
Ignorant question here, but how can I use the Rogue/Letho armor with this mod?
I have the Rogue/Letho armor in my Mods folder along with the modSwapWitcherArmorsToRogueLetho file. Additionally, I added this armor to the mods.settings file. But any time I load the game, I don't have a body
It's definitely possible, I uninstalled Rogue/Letho armor incorrectly, but the mod author does not have instructions for installing it, unfortunately
Unfortunately, I haven't played with W3EE or the Redux version at all, but after taking a quick glance, they modify the same armor files that I do to re-map the equip template for each piece of armor. In order to get them to work, you'd have to merge the changes together with the Script Merger.
Hey there!Seems to be a very good mod,but I want to ask - are there new sets going to be added to this mod?Like Toussaint Knight set. It's my favorite and I'd like it to see him here so much!
I wanna start by saying that I am a huge fan of this mod. Seriously, amazing work. I also wanted to ask if there was any potential for the armor mod below to be added in a future update?

Once again, I'm a huge fan of this mod and am looking forward to any future work with the new Redkit available. Cheers.

I'll try loading up in Brazilian Portuguese and hopefully not to get too lost while looking into it for you. 🙃
What's the full remaining path of the mod once inside the Mods folder?

Is there any chance for a swap Appearance with the Red / Orange Cidarian Cavalry Amour?
Love that Armour,
I'd very much Appreciate it!
Thanks :)

Unfortunately, I tried reaching out to that mod's author about two years ago asking for permission and I never heard back.
