The mod allows you to leave swords on Roach, just like Geralt did in the books.

  • To leave a sword on Roach, just press a sword's corresponding key ('1' or '2' by default on your keyboard) standing near the horse, and press it again to take the sword back. If you've picked up & equipped another sword, the sword from Roach will be added to your inventory.
  • There might be a bug when a scabbard appears without a sword, in that case just wait a little or press any movement key.
  • You can enable or disable an animation while leaving and taking swords in the menu. The animation only works when Geralt stands near Roach. 
  • If you're riding Roach and need to draw the sword, press the corresponding key, the sword will be equipped on your back, and then press the key again to draw it.
  • There are mod settings to adjust the swords' and theirs scabbards' (in case you use some mods for them) positions, just remember to always set 'Enable Changes' to ON every time you change anything. And there's a 'Front Position' option, it's good for both front and middle swords' positions, and when it's OFF, it's good for back positions.
  • There are also prewritten presets, which you can choose. Not all of them fit into the screen so be sure to scroll them.
  • It's recommended to use with Sezon Burz Witcher's Gear mod, since most of the presets were built around its saddle gear. However you can always adjust a preset to any saddle you like. And it'd be great if you share parameters for some new positions (in a form of option tab screenshots) with others in the comments.
  • Some clippings are unavoidable.
  • It's unknown how the mod will work with some of the quests, so save your game and take your swords from Roach before the quests. If the swords dissappear from Roach after some cutscenes or quests, or appear on Geralt and not in his inventory, try to set 'Enable Changes' to ON in the menu, or save and reload your game. If the problem persists your only option is to load some of the previous saves before such bug.
  • You must take back your swords before the "Open Sesame" quest.
  • The swords or scabbards might remain on Geralt or have strange placement if you use the mod alongside with custom swords/scabbards mods (unless it's just a retexture/xml mod).
  • This mod isn't compatible with Magical (un)sheathing of weapons (Invisible Weapons) mod. Get rid of its medallion and reequip your weapons first, if you want to use the mod. Or use Invisible Weapons and Swords on Roach instead.
  • The mod isn't compatible with W3EE - Lazarus Project.

Extract 'bin' and 'mods' folders into your 'Witcher 3' folder and use Script Merger. Don't use any installation managers.
