Adds extra character options for Diverse Stardew Valley! This set includes individual alternate designs for the vanilla romanceable characters, with DSV's full seasonal and festival outfits.

Diverse Stardew Valley Additional Packs - Romanceables
These individual character packs adapt various other character designs to Diverse Stardew Valley's seasonal and festival outfits, as well as enabling full compatibility with DSV's additional options, dialogue, and content. This page contains additional character packs for the vanilla marriage candidates - for character packs involving non-romanceable characters, see Diverse Stardew Valley Additional Packs - Townspeople.
Each additional character pack requires Content Patcher and the SMAPI modding framework; if you have not installed SMAPI before, see the Stardew Valley Wiki's guide for instructions. They also require Diverse Stardew Valley - Seasonal Outfits. Most character packs based on an existing individual character mod also require the original mod to be installed; these will be noted in the Features descriptions.
Each character pack can be used individually without requiring any other character pack.
To use a character pack, you will need to set the corresponding character to "off" in Diverse Stardew Valley's configuration options.
The easiest way to do this is with the Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM) mod. GMCM adds a small cog-shaped button to the lower-left corner of the Stardew Valley title screen, which allows you to edit config options in-game via an easy-to-use interface with either check boxes or scrollable drop-down menus. Once GMCM is downloaded and installed, DSV will automatically detect it and become available for configuration from the title screen.
The majority of character packs can make use of DSV's configuration options, e.g. if PennyFreckles is enabled in DSV, Brunette Penny will also have freckles. DSV's dialogue and other content is also compatible depending on whether it is appropriate for the character pack, e.g. Native Leah's dialogue will also apply if using Butch Native Leah, but not if using Ashbrass's Leah.
Several character packs have additional options that are not available through DSV's standard options. These can be found in the Additional Packs section of DSV's configuration page.
Unless otherwise noted, all additional character packs are also compatible with any mods that Diverse Stardew Valley is compatible with (as of DSV 5.0.4).
ALEX
Black Alex by Snuffpot. This pack is an adaptation of Alex is Black and requires the original mod. All options for Vanilla Alex are compatible.
ELLIOTT
Front-Facing Elliott by Eemie. All options for Vanilla Elliott are compatible.
HALEY
Blonde Black Haley by tenthousandcats. All options for Black Haley are compatible.
Ombre Romani Haley by Airyn. All options for Romani Haley are compatible.
HARVEY
No Mustache Harvey by Medinaquirin and Pinzol. This pack is a combination of Small Town Doctor by Medinaquirin and Harvey New Look (No Glasses)by Pinzol, combined and converted by Aliceela, and requires both of the original mods. All options for Vanilla Harvey are compatible except HarveyCharacterMustache.
This pack has an additional option: HarveyGlasses, which toggles whether or not Harvey wears glasses.
LEAH
Butch Native Leah by Jo. All options for both Butch Leah and Native Leah are compatible except MaternitySprites.
Butch Leah by Ashbrass. This pack is an adaptation of Butch Leah and while it does not require the original mod as it is an xnb mod rather than a Content Patcher mod, we encourage anyone using this character pack to please download and endorse the original. All options for Butch Leah are compatible.
MARU
Maru with Twists by Rubyquester. This pack is an adaptation of Maru with Twists and requires the original mod. All options for Vanilla Maru are compatible.
PENNY
Brunette Penny by Bittybee. All options for Vanilla Penny are compatible.
This pack has an additional option: PennyEyes, which toggles whether Penny has brown or green eyes.
SAM
80's Sam by Oyoshi. All options for ModdedDarker Sam are compatible.
Modded Sam by Oenimo and Thalabee. This pack uses assets from Thalabee's Sam and the Great Haircut with permission. All options for ModdedDarker Sam are compatible.
Punk Sam by Airyn. All options for Vanilla Sam are compatible except SamPiercings, which are built into the design by default.
Sam by Ches. This pack is an adaptation of cheshire348's Sam Portrait Mod and requires the original mod. All options for Vanilla Sam are compatible.
SEBASTIAN
Side-Shave Sebastian by ZoeDoll. This mod uses assets from Chogo's Bachelor Portrait Edits with permission. All options for Vanilla Sebastian are compatible except SebastianPiercings, which are built into the design by default
We do not accept requests for adaptations of other portrait mods.
Previous additional character packs that are not uploaded here are discontinued and will not be updated.
If you are interested in creating an additional character pack, either of your own character design or of someone else's design, see the Asset Use Permissions page of the Diverse Stardew Valley website. If adapting someone else's design, you must have permission from them before any assets can be adapted.
Additional character packs may not be kept in sync with content changes to Diverse Stardew Valley. This is intentional as otherwise the workload would be too much to manage. If you would like a character pack to be updated faster, you are welcome to adapt any changed artwork yourself and send it to me to be uploaded. Otherwise character packs will be updated when I have the time and energy to update them.
