Restores the cut disenchantment font, allowing players to remove enchantments from non-unique pre-enchanted items without destroying them. Whether it’s rare robes or mediocre enchanted weapons, you can now reuse them with ease.

I shouldn't have sworn. But it's not my fault, I swear. Nexusmods kept reusing the cached V1 file because neither names nor filesize changed. Blame Nexus. The exorbitant enchanting skill gain is fixed now. I quadruple checked. It is fixed. It is fixed. It is fixed. It is fixed. This is now officially a running gag.

What is this fuckery. MO2 and SSEDIT kept trolling me with the overwrite folder. The exorbitant enchanting skill gain is fixed now. Really, I swear. Please spare me. EDIT: MO2,SSEDIT and me were innocent, Nexus server was the culprit! Shame on him.

Details This mod restores the cut disenchantment font which allows you to remove enchantments from found items without destroying them. I was annoyed to always find weapons and armor with mediocre enchantments and no way to reuse them, so I made this when I found the disenchantment font. There are other mods doing something similar, but they all only work for playerenchanted gear and they are always scripted, this one on the other hand only works for all the crap enchanted gear you find in containers and on enemies (i.e. preenchanted/non-player enchanted gear). You can finally reenchant your vampire royal robes or mythic dawn robes this way. The mod seems small but it's been 3 days of work already, it adds over 5000 disenchanting recipes.
Features
Disenchantment Font added to all major locations with crafting stations (RiftHoneyside, SolitudeProudspireManor, WhiterunDragonsreach, WindhelmHjerim, MarkarthVlindrelHall, RiverwoodSleepingGiantInn, FalkreathJarlsLonghouse, SolitudeCastleDour, WindhelmPalaceUpstairs01, DawnstarTheWhiteHall, MarkarthUnderStoneKeep, WinderholdCollegeArchMageQuarters, SolitudeBluePalace, MarkarthWizardsQuarters03, WinderholdCollegeHallofCountenance, RiftenMistveilKeep, DarkBrotherhoodSanctuary)
Unenchants all non-uniquely enchanted gear found in the game (not player-enchanted)
It's a proper crafting station, not a container (way more satisfying to use)
scriptless
seamlessly integrated into the game
How is this Cut Content?
There's not much I know about this one, except for its name and type. The disenchantment font is a furniture that hasn't been placed anywhere as a world object. Judging by it's name "disenchanting" and it being of the furniture type it's safe to assume that it's purpose was either a seperate system for the disenchanting process to learn enchantments or a way to remove enchantments from items. I've gone with the latter. There is perhaps the third option of it's purpose being to destroy an enchanted item and return it's soul gem, but I haven't gone that route maybe I'll add to it later.
FAQ But isn't this in vanilla already? - no DUUUUUUDE, a bazillion of mods already do this! - no, not like this, neither obscure college of winterhold, nor legacy of the dragonborn, nor disenchanting fountain, nor any other mod that contains a disenchanter does it for the preenchanted basegame items.
