About this mod

The D-Pad that should have been stock from Day 1. Enables the D-Pad to use All 8 hotkeys efficiently. Added a profile that allows access to the SkyUI GroupSets. There are profiles for Xpadder and ones for Native Use (without Xpadder).

The install instructions are on the Documentations tab. And the controls are in the Read Mes that come with the downloaded files.

  • Update 7/29/2019: Added a version that features access to all 8 GroupSets by holding LB as Shift.

  • Fixed an issue with GroupSets version. Forgot to delete the NumPad bindings to the Hotkeys. Everything should work for that layout now.
  • Version 1. 3 Update. I realized I made a booboo with the Alt Quick Access menu version. There was a bug where you couldnt cancel while lockpicking. I fixed that.

  • Version1.2 Beta. I made a package that should work with the Xbox One controller. I cant test it because I dont have an Xbox One controller. So I need feedback regarding its functionality. It should work. Hopefully. I made the Stock Xpadder version and the Native 4 way version for the Xbox One controller. Once I can confirm that both of those work, Ill make the others.

  • Version 1.1. Now introducing an all inclusive, easy to download, easy to install package.Just download via a Mod Manager and Install, or Download Manually and Install via a Mod Manager. Previously my files required you to place them into the Interfaces/controls/pc folder, but unless you had previously extracted Skyrim - Interfaces.bsa, or you had a mod that installed this folder, the folder was not there, preventing some downloaders of my mod from being able to use the mod. Now my new Versions of each file are all RARed. The xpadder versions RARs have an Xpadder folder, which will be placed into your Skyrim/Data folder after being installed using a Mod Manger such as Nexus or Vortex. This folder contains the Xpadder templates and a Read me. The non Xpadder versions just contain the Interfaces folder and a Read me, which will be placed into your Skyrim/Data folder. Let me know if something doesnt work.

  • Let me know if it doesnt work for the Xbox1, PS4, PS3, or regular Windows controllers. I only have an Xbox360 controller so Im only able to test it on that controller. If it doesnt work for the others I can easily make a version that works with each type. Message me to get a quicker response.

    With Xpadder:
  • IMMERSIVE D PAD (stock): This is the stock layout that is to be used with Xpadder. All the buttons are stock with the exception of the Start button, and the D Pad. It has 5 files; an Xbox360 bitmap image for Xpadder, A Controller Map for Xpadder, a Layout file for Xpadder, and the controlmap.txt for the controls/pc folder, and a readme.
  • Upside: Very Functional. All the buttons work in the SkyUI Favorites Grouping Menu.
  • Downside: No quick access menu.

  • IMMERSIVE D PAD (w/ LB quick access menu): This layout is to be used with Xpadder. It also pairs up well with the TK Dodge Mod. In this layout the B, LB, Start, and D Pad have all been modified. The LB button is used to assign 8 additional inputs. I personally assigned Dodge to B so that B Sprints and Dodges. It has 5 files; an Xbox360 bitmap image for Xpadder, A Controller Map for Xpadder, a Layout file for Xpadder, and the controlmap.txt for the controls/pc folder, and a readme.
  • Upside: Extremely Versatile. On-the-fly anything you want to do.
  • Downside: In the SkyUI Favorites Menu, the Back button doesnt work in Grouping. Your grouping is saved in your save file anyways.
  • IMMERSIVE D Pad (groupset): This layout requires Xpadder. Also Requires SkyUI. The Start, LB, and D Pad have all been modified. The LB button is used to select the second page of D Pad inputs, whcih allow the user to select all 8 SkyUI GroupSets. It comes with the proper Xpadder files, the controlmap file, as well as a Read Me and a Diagram.
  • Upside: Access to the SkyUI GroupSets
  • Downside: Can get a little confusing.
  • Without Xpadder:
  • IMMERSIVE D PAD (native 4 way with Alt button): This layout doesnt require Xpadder. It is simply a RAR file that needs to be installed via a Mod Manager, or extracted and placed into Skyrim/Data. All the buttons are stock with the exception of the LB button and the D Pad. The LB button is used to Sprint and to select the Favorites Menu, as well as Hotkeys 5-8.
  • Upside: Doesnt require Xpadder. Pretty functional.
  • Downside: No quick access menu. Have to hold another button to access hotkeys 5-8 and Favorites.

  • IMMERSIVE D Pad (native 8 way): This layout doesnt require Xpadder. It is simply a RAR file that needs to be installed via a Mod Manager, or extracted and placed into Skyrim/Data. Its package comes with 2 files; the controlmap.txt file and a readme. All the buttons are stock, with the exception of the LB button, which is only used in Combination with A to access the Favorites menu, and the D pad. This layout turns the D Pad into an 8 way directional pad featuring the Diagonal directions.

  • Upside: Dont have to push LB to select Hotkeys 5-8. Almost all buttons are stock.
  • Downside: The 8 way directional pad is sketchy mid battle. If you dont press the diagonals exactly, you will end up pressing one of the Cardinal Directions.
