    - = F.A.Q. = -

    Q1: Does 4k work with 1080p Monitors?
A: Yes, It's about object size, not monitor resolution. 4k/8k textures, where necessary look a lot better on 1080p monitors.

    Q2: How do I install Skyrim 2020 ( and / or Skyrim 2018 ) ?
A: Read the description page, it has all the info and more

Q3: Will you upload 1k/2k/8k/16k/666k textures because of my potato / über master machine ?
A: That's a D.I.Y. ( Do It Yourself ) with : Cathedral Assets Optimizer or Octagon Textures Batch Tool

Q4: Is there any FPS hit?
A: Depends on your computer, other installed mods, using an ENB or not and screen resolution.

Q5: What is covered in your mod and optional files?
A: Click Preview file contents under the files

Q6: I have pink textures in my game after installing Skyrim 2020 ( and / or 2018 ). How come ?
A: Make sure to overwrite all mods Skyrim 2020 ( and / or 2018 ) conflicts with and make sure you have the required mods installed.

Q7: Is it save to install / uninstall this mod mid-game ?
A: Yes, it's just meshes and textures. Mods like this are always save to install / uninstall.

    Q8: I don't think it's working, How do I know I have Skyrim 2020 installed properly ?
A: Go to Whiterun and visit Warmaidens Blacksmith.
If the workbench and tanning rack look like the picture below, you installed it correctly

I really love these textures, but every now and then I see some pretty bad texture mis-matching. Like here.

Is this mod the problem, or is this a sign of some kind of load order issue? I don't really have any other landscape mods, so I don't see what else could be the problem.

I've already downloaded the first part twice. Every time the WinRar file is broken.

I'm confused about the installation instructions. Do I "need" Skyrim 2018 before installing this, or can I just install part 1, 2 and 3 and be good to go?

Does this mod require SMIM? It is listed as a requirement for the Downscaled version. I am using Embers XD and SMIM is incompatible. Does the Part file have all the nifs that SMIM would provide?

I just reinstalled SMIM with Embers XD and I am no longer getting an incompatibility warning. Odd, but good.

This package is too much for the Rog Ally.  60 fps but near-constant stuttering; unplayable.  Uses all the GPU RAM and system RAM all 16 GB gone in a hot second.  But hot dang do the textures look *amazing*.  I did the 1k and 2k instead and it doesn't look quite as good but it works flawlessly, uses way less RAM.

    I just bought me a new "good" system recently with a RTX 4060 and an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz and it's still laggy. Damn... :'(

Part 1 and 2 works fine for me. Now part 3.. going outside and just spinning around makes the frames stutter and drop to 10fps. Disabling part 3 fixes this problem and none of my other mods conflict with part 1 or 2.

yeah, i had the same problem, but i already installed the downscale version...still it feels like i miss something out. For me personally, part 3 would be the most important one with the landscape texture. I use Pfuscher's mod in Fallout 4 and and the landscape is phenomenal.

"SKSE Plugin to use DLSS/FSR2/XeSS in Skyrim, also supports DLAA." Sorry, what? i have no idea what DLSS/FSR2/XeSS and DLAA is.
      plus:          DLSS/FSR2/XeSS don't work with ENB, ..........

      •       A workaround version with ENB compatiblity is in development, and Boris
also said he would do compatiblity from his side, when he does this       version will be compatible with ENB."
Guess i'll have to wait anyway until the new ENB is ready.
but thanks for the answer, maybe i'll get deeper in this stuff later to find out how it works.

Yea dude. I feel you. However, its more about ram here than about anything else. Running 16gb ram by myself, i gave up. The microstutter open world and constant 15gb+ ram usage caused a lot of memory exceptions and stutter everytime i spin around the view.

32gb probably the bare minimium for an high end skyrim with pfuschers and fancy enb's. As a sad matter of fact. Might try again with 32

I've been having a weird issue lately. So the ground in Whiterun has been twitching/flickering, like it was fighting between textures.

I have SMIM, JK's Skyrim, this mod, Blended Roads, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Landscape Fixes, No Snow Under Rood and Terrain Parallax (as well as all the patches needed to make them all work). I don't know exactly where it is conflicting in order to cause this weird ground flickering. Everything seems to be working fine with one another when I go in to change what mod should override what.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I removed the parallax meshes for Whiterun (Paralllax Meshes - Whiterun) and this flickering stopped. Hope this helps!
