Nirya is the sassy, bitchy upperclassman that can make your life difficult while also proving to be an invaluable resource if you get in her good graces. Her sucking up once you become Arch Mage (spoiler alert!) provides valuable nutrients to your ego. Don't you want to bring that everywhere with you? Well, now you can!
This mod not only turns Nirya into a follower, but transforms her into a mage worthy of the expert level robes she wears. I always found it odd that she wore those expert level robes, but had nearly the exact same level and spells as your fellow hapless apprentices. I decided to have her specialize in lightning spells, increase her available magicka, stamina, and health, and add a few perks.

In the BAT version, Nirya will willingly follow you as soon as you activate the file. To get her to follow you in the ESP version, you must first complete her "Research Thief" quest. She will follow you as soon as you give her Faralda's notes.

INSTALLATION
MANUAL (BAT) SUPPORTED
DO NOT USE A MOD MANAGER OF ANY KIND TO INSTALL THE BAT VERSION!
Step 1: Download the archive
Step 2: Open the archive with 7zip
Step 3: Drag and drop the txt file into your Skyrim data folder
Step 4: Launch the game
Step 5: Once in game, press the "~" key to open the console
Step 6: Type "bat followernirya2018" and press enter

UNINSTALLATION (ESP ONLY)
Due to the fickle nature of mods, uninstalling is NOT RECOMMENDED and UNSUPPORTED. If you must uninstall, follow these steps:
Step 1: Dismiss Nirya if she is currently following you
Step 2: Go to an interior cell that is not part of the College of Winterhold
Step 3: Save and quit
Step 4: Deactivate the esp
Step 5: Remove the esp from your data folder
Step 6: Relaunch the game
Step 7: Save and quit once more
Step 1: Dismiss Nirya if she is currently following you

COMPATIBILITY
1. The BAT version is fully compatible with ALL MODS!
2. It is impossible for me to know if the ESP version is compatible with every single mod out there. You can check for compatibility by yourself using SSEEdit.
3. With the above said, Follower Nirya - 2018 Edition SSE is compatible with Immersive College of Winterhold SE with the provided patch.
LOAD ORDER
1. Follower Nirya - 2018 Edition should be loaded AFTER any mod modifying Winterhold, the College of Winterhold, and/or Nirya herself. This includes, but is not limited to, Immersive College of Winterhold SE.
2. The provided patch for Immersive College of Winterhold SE should be loaded IMMEDIATELY AFTER the main file.
