It will come eventually. I mod primarily for and only play Classic Skyrim, so all testing of the Special Edition versions of my mods is done by my brother. And we both work full time!

USSEP: I work off of fixes made by USSEP. You should already have it, anyway.
RDO-SE: Relationship Dialogue Overhaul enables Nirya's voicetype to have follower dialogue.
CRF-SE: Cutting Room Floor restores the "Research Thief" quest, where you must steal some research notes from Faralda and give them to Nirya. This raises Nirya's disposition towards you, making her willing to follow you. Otherwise, you would have to go all the way through the College of Winterhold questline in order to raise her disposition enough.

In the 2018 Edition screenshots, I am using Skyrim HD (Lite version), Static Mesh Improvement Mod, Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized (1K version), CBBE with Mature Skin (NSFW), Improved Eyes Skyrim, Immersive College of Winterhold, and RUSTIC CLOTHING. In the 2016 Edition screenshots, I am using Cover Eyes and Wet and Cold 2.0 with most of the aforementioned mods.

i have unofficial patch , cutting room floor and all that i got the quest to steal the notes , but where can i find them i tried to pickpocket faralda but she doesnt have them , searched her room not there either , where to find the notes ? weird thing is some npcs disappeared like the woman in the arcanum who tells u ppl underestimate restoration magic ? and some others
