About this mod
This mod makes archery feel more realistic by adding gravity to arrows and giving bows varying draw speeds in conjunction with the amount of damage they do. A subtle but fantastic mod for increasing your immersion when using a bow, and making you feel like Lars Anderson 101%

Advantageous Archery LE

- All bows have had their draw speed increased according to the amount of damage they do. Low damage bows such as Hunting bows will fire nearly twice as fast as higher damage bows. This helps simulate higher draw weights in higher damage bows. Every bow has also had their carry weight cut in half.
- Added a Short bow with a custom mesh that has replaced the Longbow as the fastest bow; To reconcile the fact that the Longbow should have been a more powerful bow from the start. (Historically the Longbow was a very powerful bow, this is my attempt at bringing a tiny bit more realism to Skyrim); Longbow stats have been improved to be equivalent to a Dwarven Bow. Longbows will be found mostly on Town guards and higher level hunters. Short bows will be found mostly on bandits and low-level hunters.

- All vanilla bolts and arrows have had their gravity increased to give them a more realistic feel when using a bow. The higher the craftsmanship of an arrow the straighter it will fly, lower quality arrows such as those made by the forsworn and falmer will not be able to fly as straight as an elven or ebony arrow. The resulting gravity will cause NPC's to no longer have superhuman aim like in the vanilla game, they will miss their shots a lot more from a distance.
- Increased critical hit damage for all bows from vanilla +50% to +100%. The vanilla critical hit damage settings were a disincentive when it came time to pick Archery perks that increased your chance of a critical hit, since vanilla critical hits did not boost the damage enough to make the perks worth picking. I think with the critical hit damage increased to 100% there is a much greater incentive to pick perks that increase your chances of a critical hit.
- Reduced the depth that arrows stick into targets by 25%
- Doubled the time arrows stay imbedded in their targets from 10 to 20 seconds.
- Archer NPC's will now have a limited number of arrows instead of having an infinite number of arrows like in vanilla.
- Arrow recovery from fallen NPC's has been reduced from 33 to 20%.
- The amount of arrows that stick into an actor has been increased from 3 to 11 arrows.

- All record edits were made to be more or less consistent with Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes Mod. Advantageous Archery must be loaded after WACCF Mod.
To increase your archery immersion, I would highly recommend disabling your crosshair in your gameplay settings, after all there are no crosshairs in real life. Mods I personally use and highly recommend for a great archery experience.
