Version 1.1.0
Highlights
TL;DR
500 + new voice lines • Complete “Beyond the Blade” rewrite • Improved backstory, character arcs• New healing device system • Dozens of bug fixes
Massive Dialogue Expansion
Over 500 new dialogue lines have been added, significantly enriching Ashe’s personality, reactivity, and immersion. Experience new greetings, farewells, roleplay-specific responses, and enhanced commentary during sneaking, killmoves, and lockpicking. Many of these lines were initially cut from the 1.0 release, making this update even more substantial!
Revamped Story & Deeper Characterization
Clarified Backstory: Ashe spent 20 years dormant after her father’s death and an additional six years alone before meeting the player, deepening her emotional maturity.
"Beyond the Blade" Overhaul
The Rolen quest has been fully rewritten to better reflect Ashe’s emotional arc, offering new dialogue, branching outcomes based on her Ethical Points, and a more grounded confrontation with her father’s killer. Optional combat and story content have been added as well, deepening the narrative.
Yorha 2B Armor Recognition
Ashe now has unique dialogue when players equip the popular Nier-inspired Yorha 2B outfit mod, celebrating her design inspiration. Requires this mod or its conversions to be installed, Ashe will detect this automatically “https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/48359”
Default Canon Player Name – “Kalin”
Ashe now defaults to calling the player "Kalin," a gender-neutral, lore-inspired name. Custom name support will arrive in update 1.2 (Serana Banter update!)
Detailed Changes

New location-specific greetings (cities, inns, houses, dungeons).
Relationship-specific greetings and farewells.
Axiom-specific dialogue reflecting Ashe’s moral alignment.
Improved responsiveness to player commands (“All right” prompts).

Additional commentary for stealth actions, killmoves, and lockpicking.
Revised outfit dialogues for consistency.

Personal stories from Ashe’s past, including memories with her father.

Romance & Friendship Expansion
Enhanced affectionate or protective dialogue for romanced players.
Players can now instruct Ashe to forget previously learned spells, offering greater control over her magical customization.
Story & Quest Improvements
Refined Backstory Integration
Ashe’s 20-year dormancy now significantly informs her emotional depth.
Expanded introspection about her six years spent alone.
Changes have been reflected in Chapter 1 dialogue and new Canas audio logs, along with Ashe’s reaction to said audio logs.
"Beyond the Blade" Quest
Rolen confrontation now offers branching paths: Mercy, Measured Justice, or Total Vengeance.
The quest has been fully rewritten to better reflect Ashe’s emotional arc, addressing past criticism of her being overly forgiving toward her father’s killer.
Ashe’s judgment is now driven by her Ethical Points (EP), with player dialogue influencing her outcome - unless her convictions are too strong to be swayed.
Each EP path offers unique dialogue, including special lines for Dark Brotherhood‑affiliated players, reinforcing roleplay depth and narrative reactivity.
A new mini‑boss assassin encounter expands on Rolen’s backstory and adds optional combat with a gameplay twist.
[Fun Fact] Resolving an elusive Creation Kit bug that caused parts of Rolen’s house to vanish nearly drove me to madness!
New Lore & Immersive Additions
Rewritten news pamphlets provide immersive storytelling with grounded rumors about Ashe’s history.
Ashe personally provides an antique pamphlet dated to her father’s death during a pivotal quest moment.
Lucan now gives players a tabloid-style magazine instead of a generic pamphlet.
Updated lore books, diaries, and the Ashe Physiology Journal with clarified dates and intentions (e.g., Hearthfire Protocol).
Added new envelope asset (Witcher Modder Resource) for Aryo‑Calcelmo correspondence.
Tweaked Astrid Note: Updated the Dark Brotherhood letter to match Rolen’s revised backstory and the new quest chronology.
Audio & Environmental Enhancements
Canas Audio Log: Added a fully voice-acted log detailing Canas's struggles in activating Ashe after her initial demise. Ashe reacts to these logs as well and has an ensuing short mini-arc with Canas. These logs are placed throughout the lab.
Canas Sleeping Bag: Prevents immersion-breaking situations by ensuring he doesn't use Ashe’s or Aryo’s beds.
Mod Support & Compatibility
Improved Vanilla NPC Awareness: Adjustments made to avoid dialogue clashes with vanilla characters.
Groundwork laid for future main quest commentaries (starting with the Golden Claw quest).
Gameplay Tweaks & Balances
Ashe Plug System: Ashe no longer responds to healing spells. Players can craft a Dwarven healing device (Dwarven Oil + Restoration Potion + Iron Ingot) to heal or revive her in combat. To start, ask Ashe “Ashe, I noticed I can't target you with healing spells. Is it because of your-”
Tempered Vest Options: Adventuring variants of Ashe’s cumulative vest can now be tempered at a forge for proper progression.
Organic Introduction: Ashe’s intro quest still starts on a new game, but now does so silently - without objectives or markers - creating a more subtle and immersive discovery through ambient dialogue and lore.
Requires YoRHa 2B Outfit SE (or conversion) – https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/48359 ↩
If another mod overwrites the new LCTN records, Ashe reverts to old catch-up behaviour but the game stays stable. ↩ ↩2
Note from Marty: Serana-Ashe banter is in active writing now and will headline the next update.
Closing Notes
Version 1.1 vastly expands Ashe’s character depth, narrative involvement, and gameplay immersion. Future updates will introduce further main quest integrations, custom name support, and deeper romance content.

Version 1.0.7
1.0.7 Changelog
Developer Note
This update was originally planned as part of Version 1.1 but is being released early due to delays in 1.1 (expected at the end of Q1) and the presence of a significant, game-breaking bug affecting balance (especially for Xbox users). Unless major issues arise, this will be the final bugfix update before Version 1.1.
Bugfixes & Improvements
Fast Travel Restrictions:
Disabled fast travel from the Throat of the World marker during Ashe’s main quest. Players can now only fast travel there after discovering it first or starting Ashe’s final main quest.
Training Dialogue Fix:
Corrected a skill check in Ashe's initial training dialogue. Previously, the dialogue referenced One-Handed, but the conditions incorrectly checked for Two-Handed.
FOMOD Wording Improvement:
Improved clarity in the FOMOD for the "Impressionist Voices" option. The description now explicitly explains the difference between "Enable" and "Disable."
Quest Dialogue Priority:
Increased priority for the innkeeper dialogue in the All for One quest (priority raised from 50 to 100) to ensure visibility, especially in modded setups.
Arcane Bond Ability Balance:
Fixed a bug causing the Arcane Bond ability to be overpowered and persist indefinitely:
Incorrect magicka regeneration multiplier was applied, providing a significantly stronger buff than intended.
The ability was not expiring after 8 hours as designed, resulting in permanent buffs for romanced or Hearthfire Protocol playthroughs.
This critical gameplay bug was the primary reason for releasing these fixes early.
OStim Integration Fix:
Resolved an issue where the "kiss" dialogue did not trigger a kiss scene due to a scripting error.
No reported issues with the "Come here" (lovemaking) dialogue.
SKSE Dependency Check for Spell-Teaching:
Added a check to determine whether SKSE is installed before displaying spell-teaching dialogue.
Without SKSE (common on Xbox and Steam Deck setups), the dialogue would appear but cause errors. If SKSE is not detected, the dialogue will now be hidden to prevent issues.
I am exploring an SKSE-free implementation for Xbox, though this will require additional testing and development. Unlike SDA, which uses a simpler but more cumbersome and bloated method for spell-teaching, Ashe's system is designed to be sleeker and more efficient. However, it currently relies on SKSE to achieve this functionality.
This bug predominantly affected Xbox and Steam Deck users, as SKSE is widely used on PC setups even though it is not strictly required for the mod.
Version 1.0.6
Ashe Mod 1.0.6 Changelog
Reduced the value of Lunar Tears found outside Aryo's lab from 5000 to 20 to prevent economic exploitation.
Body Mesh Fixes (CBBE & 3BA): Addressed an issue causing gaps in forearms and calves when certain armor pieces were not equipped. This was resolved by adjusting the body partitions in the relevant mesh files. Specifically, the forearms and calves partitions were changed to the body partition. This fix was implemented for both CBBE and 3BA body types. The 3BA exclusive physics versions were not affected.
Resolved a conflict in the FOMOD installer where the "0005900" facegeom mesh was being installed by multiple steps. This prevented the correct mesh (with hair removed for wig compatibility) from being installed when choosing the SMP hair option. The FOMOD has been adjusted to ensure the proper facegeom is installed based on user selection.
Removed the Hearthfire Protocol dialogue option that checked for existing romance with Ashe, as it was deemed unnecessary.
MQ06 Quest Fixes (New Saves Only): Implemented several fixes for the "Lauet" and "Thorfinn" quests (MQ06a and MQ06b, respectively):
Added a failsafe that automatically checks for and fills any empty quest aliases at the start of these quests.
Introduced a debug dialogue option within the Ashe tactics menu for troubleshooting these quests. This option is only available when the "One for All" satellite quest is running alongside either MQ06a or MQ06b. The debug option resets, stops, and restarts the relevant quest, effectively applying the failsafe.
Important Note: These fixes, including the failsafe and debug dialogue, are only effective on new saves. Due to the "Run Once" flag on the Lauet and Thorfinn quests, they cannot be reset on existing saves. For users experiencing issues on existing saves, using console commands to complete the quests is recommended.
Introduced slight delays to the startup sequence of subquests within the satellite quests. This aims to improve stability, especially on heavily modded setups, by giving the scripting engine more time to process when multiple quests start simultaneously.
Tofu fixes from lines introduced in 1.0.5
Version 1.0.5
Ashe: Crystal Heart 1.0.5 Changelog
Outfits and Appearance:
New Skirt: Introduced a new, more elegant skirt for Ashe, replacing the previous miniskirt from Sunjeong's TAWOBA. The new skirt is the black variant from the source mod, adjusted to feature chrome detailing instead of gold, aligning with Ashe's color palette. This change reflects the original vision for a beautiful, feminine, yet not overly revealing look. (Permissions granted by the original author). Now, not only is the default skirt a bit longer, but we've also figured out how to make the optional Bodyslide adjustments extend it even further, turning it into a regular skirt if you prefer a more modest look.
Outfit System Toggle: Added an option to Ashe's tactics menu to enable or disable her custom outfit system. This allows players to use alternative outfit management mods or revert to vanilla AI outfit behavior if desired.
Optional Old Skirt: Uploaded optional Bodyslide files (CBBE and 3BA) that include the latest mesh fixes but retain the original TAWOBA miniskirt for those who prefer that look.
AA Skirt Update: Updated Ashe's AA entry to display the new skirt.
Boot Texture Fix: Corrected the overly reflective, chrome-like appearance of Ashe's boots. Both heeled and non-heeled versions now have consistent shader properties.
Cumulative Outfit (All Variants):
Fixed clipping in the lumbar region.
Removed genital bones to address clipping with genitals.
Corrected texture artifacts (inverted alpha and hole parts) on the City and Home variants, restoring the intended cream color.
Cumulative Vest (Adventuring): Improved conforms, especially around the cuirass area, for both standard and physics (BHUNP) versions.
Body Patches: Added an optional, experimental vanilla body patch to the mod page.
Dialogue and Quests:
Ethical Axiom Endings: Rewrote and revoiced (thanks, Anna!) the ending lines for the utilitarian ethical axiom route. These lines now have more impact and clarity. (Note: These lines may sound slightly different due to a lack of audio mastering, which will be addressed in the future.)
"All for One" Drinking Scene: Improved the scripting for Kleppr's drink-serving animation, making it smoother and more responsive.
Dark Brotherhood Dialogue: Players who have destroyed the Dark Brotherhood can no longer claim membership during the "All for One" quest. (This corrects an oversight, not a conflict with JaySerpa's mods.)
"Beyond the Blade" Messagebox: Refined the messagebox in this quest to better reflect Ashe's emotional journey and the complexities of forgiveness, addressing player feedback.
"A Borrowed Soul" Flashback Messages: Shortened and made the flashback messages less verbose, focusing on a more impactful "show, don't tell" approach.
"A Borrowed Soul" Cutscene: Disabled message boxes during the cutscene sequences, as the audio log dates were already being conveyed audibly.
Campfire Talks: Fixed an issue where choosing the milk option prematurely ended the conversation.
Romance Quest: Fixed a dialogue option that led to a dead end.
Rebecca Ending Monologue: Increased the volume by +4 dB.
Combat and Gameplay:
Corpse Detection Dialogue: Added cooldowns and conditions to Ashe's "notice corpse" dialogue to prevent excessive repetition, especially for kills made by the player or Ashe herself.
Combat Style Adjustments:
Increased Ashe's preference for swords slightly.
Reduced her preference for bows and magic slightly (she will still use them, but less frequently).
Disabled bow usage during sparring matches.
Prevented Ashe from casting player-taught spells during sparring matches.
Spell Unteaching: Added the ability to unteach spells to Ashe.
Rolen's Quest: Fixed a bug where mining ore needed for Rolen's quest prematurely would prevent the quest from completing. Players can now mine the ore again for the quest.
Cruel Oath Longsword: Fixed texture issues in first-person view.
Patches and Compatibility:
Inigo Patch: Created a patch to resolve a conflict with Inigo in the WIFollowerCommentNode and forwarded Dawnguard's DLC edits to ensure Serana's comments function correctly. (This patch will be uploaded to the patch hub later).
Serana Dialogue Add-On (SDA) Patch: Created a preliminary patch to address conflicts between Ashe's Ysolda banter and SDA's Bannered Mare Date scene. This patch will be updated in the future to include Ashe-Serana banter as part of SDA 5.0.
Alternate Conversation Camera (ACC) Check: Added an automatic check for ACC. If detected, a messagebox will provide a workaround for an incompatibility during one of Ashe's quests.
Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements:
Glitched Dialogue Line: Fixed a glitched line during Ashe's outfit conversation.
Dwemer Gear Typo: Corrected the spelling of "Intricate" Dwemer Gear (previously "Inticate").
Lynelle and Remy Quest: Removed an unnecessary debug notification.
SEQ Regeneration: Regenerated the SEQ file.
Cleaned ITMs: Cleaned any Identical to Master records.
Version 1.0.4
1.0.4 Changelog
Added BHUNP Body Textures to FOMOD BHUNP Option:
This update addresses an oversight where Ashe did not have properly aligned BHUNP body textures included in the mod, despite having a BHUNP Bodyslide preset. Previously, her body textures were based on a CBBE/3BA template, causing issues when applied to BHUNP.
To remedy this, Bijin Skin (Ashe’s base skin texture) was adjusted to align roughly with the UNP template (BHUNP is derived from UNP). While this solution improves compatibility, it is a temporary fix, and users may notice some mismatches, stretching, and artifacts. A more refined update will be implemented when my texture artist can revisit the body textures in February next year.
For BHUNP Users:
Download this hotfix update or select the BHUNP option in the 1.0.4 FOMOD.
Note that the texture issues are primarily noticeable only when Ashe is nude.
This update will initially be released as a separate file before being integrated into the main FOMOD once more 1.0.4 content or bugfixes are available.
I apologize for this oversight during development and appreciate your understanding as we work towards a more polished solution.
- Uploaded missing Bodyslide files. The previous update included only the new and fixed files, unintentionally omitting older files that didn’t require changes. This caused some necessary Bodyslide files for - Ashe’s outfit (such as the city variants of the gloves, helmet, and physics skirt XML) to be missing.
- (This update will only be uploaded to Nexus mods as it fixes issues only with the Nexus version - the Bethnet Xbox/PC version has prebuilt meshes and no Bodyslide support).
Version 1.0.3

- Fixed more tofus with quest entries.
- Deleted prebuilt meshes from 3BA and BHUNP options to save space on FOMOD installer.
- Deleted loose meshes from main FOMOD as they were already included in the BSA. Saved 200 mb of space.
Version 1.0.2
Version 1.0.2 Changelog
Revised FOMOD Instructions: Updated for better clarity to ensure smoother installation.
Default Non-Physics Meshes (CBBE): Included prebuilt non-physics meshes by default to address stretching issues for players using a plug-and-play approach. Note: Physics-enabled meshes are required for 3BA, while BHUNP did not report any issues.
CBBE Non-Heeled Boots: The CBBE option now defaults to non-heeled boots, matching the mesh option provided to Xbox users.
FOMOD Body Option Selection: Adjusted the FOMOD to ensure players can select only one body option. This prevents conflicts and guarantees the selected option appears in-game.
Persistent Reference for Thorfinn: Made Thorfinn’s reference persistent to fix a bug where his alias (responsible for enabling the actor reference) was not enabling correctly, resulting in him not spawning in-game. To apply this fix, load up a save before his quest started.
Updated Outfit Trading Message: Improved the in-game message that notifies players when Ashe can equip her outfit.
Deleted files that weren’t needed in CBBE and 3BA FOMOD folders since the mod already had it. Saves up 200mb of space.
Version 1.0.1
Removed Auto Wig Equip: This feature was causing a double hair issue. Additionally, it became clear that even users with SMP installed might prefer Ashe without hair physics.
Hotfix Features:
Includes an updated mental model script to prevent Ashe's hair from automatically toggling.
Adds an ESP file that equips the wig by default as an ArmorAddon entry.
Includes an updated SMP hair nif that resolves clipping issues.
Installation Notes:
Safe to install on an existing save.
For users wanting hair physics, apply this hotfix on top of the main mod.
The updated mental model script and hair nif will be merged into the main FOMOD in a future update once additional bug fixes are ready.
Credits to Wooden Knight for the fix!
- Currently this has been uploaded as an optional hotfix. 1.0.1 will be updated with more bugfixes when ready.
Cell Fixes: Removed "Public Area" flag from certain Ashe-related cells to prevent unintended NPC spawns.
Bodyslide Cleanup: Deprecated preset "Cumulative Vest City New" has been removed from Bodyslide options.
Dialogue Adjustments:
Removed a dialogue about Ashe’s origins when speaking to Canas after Chapter 1 (to avoid spoilers).
Tweaked spooning dialogue to prevent Ashe from referencing the player as a lover if not romanced.
Rewrote the messagebox at the end of Ashe’s recruitment to be more subtle and mysterious, enhancing intrigue for first-time players.
Dismiss Location:
Ashe’s default dismiss location was changed from Windpeak Inn (Dawnstar) to Solitude to better align with her story. (Existing saves may require manual assignment of a home marker.)
Players can now assign Ashe’s default dismiss location/home marker via her tactics menu.
Lore and Text Updates:
Updated entries in the "Ashe Physiology Journal."
Fixed typos (text boxes showing tofu-like characters) in quest journals.
Corrected quest journal oversight where it instructed players to go to Falkreath instead of Riverwood.
Dialogue and Voiceovers:
Added voice lines to Ashe’s recruitment dialogue.
Increased the volume of Rebecca’s final voiceover during the main quest for better clarity.
Fixed MQ06a dialogue option to appear only when at the Riverwood Commune.
Item and Texture Fixes:
Fixed Rolen’s logbook placement—it now functions properly as a logbook.
Added missing Dwemer cog textures in Ashe’s workshop.
Resolved issue where non-heels boots appeared invisible with BHUNP.
Map Marker: Ashe’s workshop map marker is now visible at the start of her quest to help players locate her home.
Gameplay Improvements:
Made Ashe’s wolf invulnerable during MQ06a to prevent players from accidentally killing it.
Sparring with Ashe no longer risks player death due to interference from combat mods. Players are now granted god mode during sparring. Hits are still registered, and the spar ends when one reaches 15 hits.
FOMOD and Compatibility:
Reminder added to the FOMOD for users to regenerate Nemesis/Pandora animations and place Ashe later in the load order.
Added ESL flag to the RCO patch.
Version 1.0.0
[Changelog From the Closed Beta]
- Initial Release
Script Optimization:
- Removed unused scripts for better performance.
- Optimized existing scripts to enhance stability.
New Features:
- Added a follow distance toggle for better customization.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:

- Added a cooldown to Ashe's MQ01 greet dialogue to prevent frequent repetition.
- Resolved an issue where the romance quest wasn’t triggering. It now works on any save made before the end of "Go Beyond - Vestiges Reborn."
- Corrected spar dialogue mistakenly shown to all NPCs.
- Fixed faction alignment in Blackheart Cavern—previously, NPCs were killing each other. Now, they behave as intended, offering more challenging encounters.
- Fixed three radiant "I love you" dialogues that didn’t properly link to lovemaking scenes.
- Added a condition to ensure the stretch animation only plays while Ashe is idling.
- Fixed a missing dialogue line at the conclusion of the romance quest.
- Adjusted conditions for MQ dialogues to ensure they don’t play out of context.
Prevented Ashe from sandboxing during dramatic scenes in her main quest.
- Fixed and mastered several voice lines for better audio quality.
- Adjusted Taarie’s dialogue with additional lines for better immersion.
Gameplay Adjustments:
- Increased aggressive EP gain for players who choose vengeance and kill the assassin.
Rebalanced Ashe's leveling system:
- Ashe now starts at Level 15 (regardless of the player’s level).
- She scales with the player at a 1.5x multiplier, reflecting her experience as a seasoned swordswoman without being overpowered.
- Removed the "Ebony Armor" option from the FOMOD. Players can still equip Ashe with alternate armor through her outfit feature.
Quest Fixes:
- Ensured all quest objectives are marked as complete upon quest conclusion.
- Cleaned ITMs, regenerated SEQ
- Gave a name to the last romance quest along with quest journal entries.
- Added a simple follow package (no sandboxing) for Ashe. Useful for screenarchers so she doesn’t keep moving around during poses!
- (FOMOD Only) Deleted redundant files/folders in Ashe FOMOD that weren’t being used

Original Design and Lore Integration Ashe features an original character design that blends the stylized aesthetics often found in JRPGs with Skyrim's more grounded fantasy world. This fusion of styles is intentional, aiming to create a visually unique and memorable character. The mod also takes great care to expand upon Skyrim's existing lore, ensuring Ashe's presence feels believable and integrated. You'll find NPCs in key locations like Solitude, Whiterun, and Riverwood who acknowledge and interact with her, and discover hand-crafted locations designed with environmental storytelling in mind that help to explain her unique nature.
(Cinematic Release Trailer, followed by a Gameplay Preview by PonPon.)
Renowned Voice Cast Experience unparalleled depth with an ensemble cast of renowned voice actors, including:
Anna Rust (Carnival Row, Cyberpunk 2077) as Ashe.
Sean Chiplock (Genshin Impact, Re:Zero) among others.

Ashe's Design Philosophy I drew inspiration from a mix of stylized games and fantasy anime - think NieR: Automata, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Witcher 3, Berserk, and Claymore. I worked hard to keep Ashe grounded in Skyrim’s lore, giving her unique abilities and a backstory that justifies her look. Think of her this way:if Clare and Guts had a daughter, she grew up sparring with BG3’s Shadowheart, got fashion pointers from 2B, then found herself in Skyrim grappling with existential angst - yet still manages to be effortlessly cool and undeniably attractive. I’ve listened to feedback on her outfit too - check out my “Design Details” article for the full story.
How Did This Mod Come To Be? After creating Serana Dialogue Add-On, I wanted a fresh challenge: an original character with her own quests and personality. Ashe represents everything I’ve learned so far as a modder, from writing to voice acting and quest design.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement I’m always refining Ashe based on community feedback. If you have ideas or spot issues, let me know here or on my Discord! I truly value user input and want to make Ashe one of Skyrim’s standout companions.
Compatibility/Awareness Patches (Available on Patch Hub - Coming Soon!)
Mod Requirements This mod works right out of the box with no hard requirements. However, my mod integrates with others pretty well, so please read below to see what they are!
Mod Integrations (Optional)
Nemesis and DAR/OAR: For custom animations. Without the mod, you won't be able to see some unique flavor/dialogue/combat animations.
HDT-SMP: For outfit and HDT hair physics support. Without the mod, Ashe's hair will still work, it'll just be static.
SKSE: For additional functionality (mainly for backend mod checks).
EFA (Expressive Facial Animations): Improves facial animations. Non-EFA setups are also supported.
RSkyrim Children Overhaul: For a "non-potato head" patch for Remy. Without it, Remy will look like any other Skyrim child.
OStim Standalone: Enables animated romance scenes. Without this, romances will fade to black.
MCO (Modern Combat Overhaul): If installed, Ashe has unique combat movesets designed specifically for her, adding dynamic and immersive gameplay. Without this, her combat reverts to basic Skyrim animations but will still use replacers for the default Skyrim animations.
Compatibility Ashe was designed with compatibility in mind, but some conflicts may arise due to Skyrim's extensive modding ecosystem.
Known Issues: Location conflicts (e.g., Aryo's Workshop, Riverwood Commune). Specific mod issues (e.g., Improved Alternate Conversation Camera, VR).
Unofficial Compatibility Patches Here are some fan-made patches and integrations created by users for other mods. These are unofficial and not officially supported. For any technical issues related to these patches, please contact the respective patch authors, not me. SL and Flowergirls Patch: Provides integration for SexLab and Flowergirls. (Link) SkyChild Patch: Provides compatibility and look support for the Skychild mod with this mod's Remy NPC. Use this instead of the RS Children Patch if you have SkyChild in your modding setup. (Link) Ulvenwald Patch: Fixes a conflict between Ashe and Ulvenwald, where a tree from Ulvenwald was blocking a path in Riverwood Commune, causing NPCs and the player to get stuck. (Link) Northern Roads Patch: Fixes compatibility issues with the Northern Roads mod (Link) Paradise Valley Compatibility Patch: Fixes blocking Aryo's Lab (Link) Nevas Hostility Fix: Not technically a (patch) but the issue tends to arise on heavily modded setups. Use this if a specific scene in Chapter 2 isn't firing correctly. (Link)
Note: If you encounter other compatibility issues, please report them with a detailed description and your load order. Quick Installation Instructions (PC)
(Optional) Install the soft requirements.
Download and install the FOMOD.
Run through the installer options.
Place Ashe near the bottom of your load order. This ensures her mod wins conflicts, which is critical for her questline to function correctly.
Bodyslide Setup:
If you chose a custom outfit, build meshes in Bodyslide.
You can select between heels or non-heels for Ashe’s boots.
While the mod functions without Bodyslide, skipping this step may result in minor seams, clipping, or mismatched body meshes.
Run Nemesis to enable her unique animations.
Launch the game and enjoy!
Important Notes:
Prologue Saves: Use at your own risk! To upgrade from the Prologue mod, dismiss/disable Ashe, travel to a new cell, uninstall the old version, and then install the new version.
Closed Beta Saves: Generally safe to update, though some fixes may not retroactively apply based on quest progress. Refer to the changelog for details.
Dialogue Voices: The impressionist voices were carefully crafted with attention to quality and consistency, ensuring an immersive experience. If they are not to your liking, a patch is available to disable them; however, I encourage you to try them out first. For unofficial AI voice patches, permissions are open—please contact me directly to discuss.
Bug Reports: Ashe: Crystal Heart is my most ambitious mod, and while extensively tested, unique issues may still arise due to diverse setups. Bug reports are welcome, but please:
Ensure correct installation and load order.
Test and document the issue thoroughly.
(Optional) Check for conflicts in xEdit and share findings.
For detailed steps, see the pinned post in the comments section. Thank you for helping improve the mod! 💓
