AlcoholicDrinksList [FLST:00072EA2] doesn't carry over USSEP changes, why?
[REFR:000FC59B] (places DesecratedImperialHerebane "Herebane Sorenshield" [CONT:0C80905D] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of KilkreathRuins01 "Kilkreath Temple" [CELL:00015255]) is being overwritten by CutContentRestoration
IndaraCaerellia "Indara Caerellia" [NPC_:0001364F] is being overwritten by CutContentRestoration and because of this is misisng one of your AI packages

DLC1VyrthurOutfit [OTFT:020153AF] doesn't carry over the Ivory Crown from USSEP
Just some small things but thought you'd like to know.
It was an unnecessary non-bug fix on their end. It's not a bug to not be able to give drunks hyper specific special blend alcohol that one guy in the entire game sells. In fact the edit to that formlist was unnecessary period but I liked the change where you could give Black Briar mead and stuff so I left those in.
I forgot Cut Content Restoration isn't ESM flagged (weird that it isn't considering how big it is, I did it myself for personal use) I'll need to include that record in the patch. Same for the NPCs.
The Vyrthur outfit is yet another unnecessary USSEP change. It wasn't a bug to begin with that he didn't have the crown in his inventory (that is a cut content restoration, not a fix) and in my mod it's placed where the "crown" is in vanilla instead. That ITM is intentional.
USSEP reverts in my mods are going to be intentional 99% of the time. Unless you find something you truly, honestly think is a mistake, it was on purpose.
Speaking of ghosts, this mod doesn't add anything like an NPC dying & becoming a ghost mechanic does it? Because this happened & I have no idea what it's from. Edit: >Haunting & Mourning Oh duh!
Well I uninstalled this BUT it still happens. I don't understand that already but it's more bizarre because there's no way she should've died either. Fast traveled to Windhelm & got the pop up again with Arivanya just turning into a ghost in front of me.
If you uninstalled it and the scripted event has already triggered it's not going to stop. That particular NPC can die during Blood on the Ice, so that's probably why she's dead.
I did that quest a long time ago. She didn't die. As you see in the first image, I keep getting that sudden pop up. She was alive this whole time & now that pops up & she spawns as a ghost. I tried disabling the main mod to make sure & it still happened. Any ideas? I shouldn't have any other mods that make this kind of thing happen.
Even a full uninstall of the main mod & CC add-on didn't fix it. The haunting & mourning stuff is still there. It definitely has to be coming from the add on but deleting it didn't get rid of it. I'm scared now that even a fresh new game won't fix it.
The main mod and CC addon have nothing to do with that restoration so there's no point in trying to troubleshoot it by disabling them. The addon is all that enables it. Like I said before, if the script event has already triggered then it's not going to stop the encounter from happening. That's just how Skyrim works. This mod didn't cause her to die, (apparently Windhelm NPCs can randomly die according to UESP, someone was complaining about the same issue on my other mod) it's just causing her to come back as a ghost because you're using the addon that does that.
If you want further help I need to see your modlist. The messagebox that popped up isn't supposed to be there.
Just had to be sure but yeah I get what you're saying. I did actually get this pop up before but I had no idea what it was about & it was a "resurrect" rather than victim pop up. I did have to force resurrect an NPC way before that to finish a quest so maybe the pop ups are a result of that? I had no idea Windhelm NPCs could just randomly die. You'd think USSEP would fix something like that. She may have been killed by a dragon while trying to run away since I have the 'Run For Your Lives' mod. I can't say for certain. It's not so much that she's dead that bugs me. It's just that this broken, for me, mechanic is annoying. With the add-on uninstalled now, I can at least let you know if it happens to another NPC.
Resurrecting isn't supposed to throw up a message either. You have some kind of mod that's doing that or enabled papyrus logging in your INI files or something.
Any chance you could remove the change to M'aiq robe? I'm rather fond of his vanilla robe appearance and it doesn't make much sense as a cut content restoration that he would wear a green robe that resembles priests of Kynareth.
I can remove it in an optional file but I don't see how the green robe resembles priests of Kynareth. (At least with vanilla textures.) Looks like a hemp robe lol.
Can you make a .txt changelog of what's added/restored? Tried looking through SSEdit but can't make much sense of some changes, like CC patch. And I wonder if this is compatible with Exalderan restoration mods?
Basically Skyrim had a dynamic system set up where if an NPC's friend or relative dies they will mourn them. This initially includes isolating themselves from people for a short period and telling you to go away if you try to talk to them, then afterwards saying things like "My wife died. Things won't be the same without her." In the vanilla game I believe the only NPC that does this is Lucan Valerius if Camilla dies, but I'm pretty sure it's separate from the mourning framework.
There was also a haunting system set up where the ghosts of NPCs you killed would come back as ghosts for a period to haunt you and their relatives if they had any around. I don't remember if this could happen even if you weren't the one that killed them, though.
Mourning Restored restores the mourning interaction, but Cutting Room Floor removed the haunting restoration and the other haunting mod was deleted from Nexus, so I made my own.
Don't know if it's included in this, but just as an FYI there's an unused Agent of Kynareth reward for The Blessings of Nature; I stumbled across it while making Paladin, and kind-of-sort-of implemented it to my best guess as to what it would give. Just thought you'd like to know it's there if you didn't already.
I'm aware, I included that specifically because: 1. It shouldn't be in USSEP to begin with, it's a cut content restoration not a bug fix. 2. There are mods that revert USSEP changes (can't say which ones for reasons I'm sure you're aware of) and this ensures that change is kept.
I didn't, it's a completely different unused enchantment in the game files that I repurposed for the boots with some balancing tweaks. If you ctrl+click on the enchantment I used it's not the same as the ones on the robes.
Is the unused enchantment : https://cslist.uesp.net/index.php?game=sr&formid=0x000b7a34 or https://cslist.uesp.net/index.php?game=sr&formid=0x000b7a30 ?
I haven't gotten around to installing Xedit/Ck (no time + Linux) so i'm looking at Clist.
That enchantment is applied to a different set of boots and I nerfed it if I'm remembering correctly. I added a second alternative pair of Archmage boots that match the robes as seen here, and gave the vanilla Archmage boots another unused Archmage related enchantment.
This all sounds much more confusing than it really is. Basically I made it so the robes and boots only spawn once you become Arch Mage, (technically a little bit earlier) added an extra pair of boots with an unused enchantment, and replaced the boring shock resistance enchantment on the vanilla boots with another unused one.
I noticed that your edit to the FormID List 00072EA2 AlcoholicDrinksList does not forward: "RiftenSpecial01 "Velvet LeChance" [ALCH:00065C37]", "RiftenSpecial02 "White-Gold Tower" [ALCH:00065C38]" and "RiftenSpecial03 "Cliff Racer" [ALCH:00065C39]" from USSEP.
I also noticed that for your Worldspace edit to 00037EDF Block -1,0 Sub-Block -2,3 00037EE9 SolitudeOrigin you haven't forwarded the XLCN-Location: "SolitudeLocation "Solitude" [LCTN:00018A5A]" from USSEP (which is also set in the Gray Cowl Creation).
Are these intentional and I am missing something? Thank you so much for this mod!
The first one is intentional. I don't understand why they think it's a "fix" to be able to give those hyper specific drinks to drunks. The second I will fix and was probably retroactively fixed by the Bashed Patch.
Thank you for your brilliant work! ❤️ I can't get enough of cut content restoration in any form of media so I deeply appreciate the time you put into this. Don't worry about the naysayers. Interestingly Skyrim modding seems to bring out the worst in people sometimes lol
